the adoption of blockchain technology is widespread across diverse industries due to its rapid advancement and high level of innovation. the technology in question is widely acknowledged for its ability to adapt and be utilized in diverse domains, thereby enabling the storage of data in interconnected fields through peer-to-peer networks. Blockchain technology demonstrates high performance in the storage of transactions that have minimal digital traces, as well as in situations where there is a need for immutability and transparency. the utilization of blockchain technology can potentially offer advantages in various domains such as supply chain management, the maintenance of dynamic patient authorization for data use, and the verification of patient, provider, or supplier identification in certain situations. the main objective of this research study is to investigate the application of blockchain technology in improving the security of Internet of things (IoT) systems, particularly in the context of remote patient monitoring and its linked EHR system. this article explores the advantages of incorporating Internet of things (IoT) devices into the remote patient monitoring practice, as well as the practical challenges that may arise during the installation phase. the proposed concept utilizes sophisticated and effective cryptographic methodologies, particularly the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) scheme, to guarantee dependable data transmission across networks and safeguarded storage within cloud environments. © 2023 ACM.

Digital Twin (DT) technology is based on the idea for the creation of a digital model which accurately represents a physical object, or a process. At first, the studied object is equipped with sensors, specially selected to account for and follow the changes of the most important functions, which provide information of various kinds. this information could be a big amount of data, related to different aspects of investigated process/object performance, which is then transferred to a processing system. the so collected data is suitably transformed, and then—used to create the digital model (i.e., the Digital Twin), which is after that used for comparison, evaluation and control, depending on the application. this virtual representation of an object or a system could be updated by using various additional information tools, such as real-time data, and together with this, simulation, machine learning and reasoning which help the decision-making in the system performance. the Hierarchical Inverse Difference Pyramid (IDP) Tensor Decomposition suits extremely well the DT technology. For this, the virtual model is represented as a multilevel tensor. then, the comparison and the analysis of the investigated process are executed following the IDP decomposition levels, which offer increasing correspondence and similarity together with the hierarchical level number increase. the proposed structure is flexible and permits various approaches: (1) In case that a process is investigated, its execution could be followed in real-time. In each decomposition level are preset the normal parameters and threshold values, which permit the detection of possible deviations, on the basis of which, the process to be corrected. Additional advantage is the possibility to detect the most significant trends in the investigated system performance. (2). Machine learning (ML) ushered in a new era in healthcare by providing unprecedented opportunities to improve patient health, improve clinical decision making, and improve patient outcomes. this article provides an overview of the far-reaching implications of machine learning in healthcare, highlighting its different applications and the challenges associated with it. In this study, we explore how machine learning (ML) can be used to improve healthcare, including personalised treatment planning, disease prediction, medication development, and medical picture analysis. the ability of ML algorithms to spot subtle patterns, forecast illness outbreaks, and enable early intervention has been proved by studying a large diversity of healthcare data. this study also explores the difficulties and moral dilemmas associated with ML integration into healthcare systems, highlighting the significance of data protection, bias reduction, and legal compliance. We also look at the possible advantages and drawbacks of these technologies in environments with limited resources, highlighting the necessity for flexible and accessible solutions. © 2023 ACM.

this research introduces an innovative method to evaluate data representation in materials science and engineering., utilizing actual tensile strength test results of carbon steel integrated into three-dimensional computer-aided drawing (3D CAD) simulations. Five groups of learners are tasked with manually plotting 100 specific datasets along simulated stress-strain displacement curves. the objective is to enhance understanding of material properties, particularly carbon steel, through practical exercises involving the application of the tensile strength equation. Learners compute force from stress values and determine dimensions from the simulated visual to calculate strain. In addition, this study uses the Friedman Chi-Square Test to analyze and compare the manual plotting results, supported by Python programming for further statistical evaluation. the findings offer valuable insights into comparing different manual plotting techniques, demonstrating their educational relevance for engineering students. Furthermore, this research establishes a method to assess the accuracy of learners' plotting outputs, which means that this exercise does not only facilitate learning, but also provides a basis for grading. It also emphasizes the importance of understanding various points on the stress-strain curve in decision-making during the design process. this approach contributes substantially to materials science education by alternative methodologies in data representation assessment and engineering education. © 2024 IEEE.

the human skin is the biggest organ, and skin diseases can be among the most dangerous forms of illness. Due to genetic disorders, the human body's pathogenic variations might result in abnormal cell development due to which changes occurring in human skin cells become extremely risky. Since skin cancer has a high death rate, timely identification and treatment of skin lesions are essential. However, challenges remain in using Deep learning for analyzing Dermoscopy images, that includes inconsistent image acquisition environment, noise filtering, image segmentation etc., these concerns have led to the suggestion of numerous early detection techniques for skin cancer. this study initially provides a brief review on the latest artificial intelligence methods for predicting skin cancer, including both conventional and deep learning techniques. Further, it discusses the elements of utilizing machine learning approaches for skin tumor identification. the focus of this research is based on the techniques used for segmenting and identifying skin lesions that aims to identify the exact borders and reliably classify them using machine learning (ML). Unbalanced datasets and a lack of data further complicate the development of trustworthy models that can generalize successfully across different skin types and lesion classifications. To get over these limitations and improve the therapeutic advantages of AI-driven skin lesion classification the study assesses widely used Deep learning techniques for skin lesion identification, focusing on key performance metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, specificity, misclassification rate, and F1 score. © 2024 IEEE.

Android is one of the most popular operating systems being used in smart phones and is facing security issues. Many authentication techniques are being used, and most of them are based on username, password or PIN. these techniques are considered weak because of several drawbacks such as passwords and PIN, can be guessed, forgotten or stolen. When the mobile phone is stolen, misplaced or in the possession of the third party, an unauthorized user can get access to the applications and features of the mobile phone. Furthermore, after a one-time login, no further credentials are required. therefore, a better security authentication system is needed to overcome this problem. this paper proposes an identity management framework that can secure mobile application’s data from an unauthorized user. the proposed framework consists of various features that are extracted from phone typing behaviour. the framework is comprised of enrolment and authentication phase. this system mainly utilizes the combination of VLC and WiFi communication technology to achieve a home wireless sensor network. the main design content is the information transmission of the link combining VLC and WiFi communication, as well as the transmission of sensor data in the network. Using this network as the medium, a more practical smart home system is achieved. the main control adopts STM32 Micro-Control Unit, which is the controller of the information transmission and sensor acquisition system. It completes the acquisition, processing, and analysis of the data involved in the visible light emitting module, visible light receiving module, temperature and humidity sensor, and then controls the humidifier and Whole-house fan according to the analysis results. Internet cloud platforms and mobile apps are responsible for receiving data, remote display, and remote control of system execution components. the client visualization interface uses the Internet of things cloud platform, enabling users to easily know and control their home devices anytime and anywhere, greatly enriching and facilitating people’s home life. © 2023 SPIE.

the Standardized Precipitation Index (SPI) accurately reflects the drought phenomenon, closely matches the real situation, and proves to be a reliable drought monitoring tool. this paper employs geodetector methodology to explore the drivers of spatial heterogeneity in the SPI, calculated using 1-km resolution Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) data, within the Yellow River Basin from 2001 to 2019. Besides precipitation, which emerges as the predominant driver influencing the SPI, the individual explanatory power of all other factors is notably weak, each contributing less than 20%. However, it is observed that the combined influence of multiple factors on SPI12 generally surpasses that of any single factor. Notably, the interaction between altitude and precipitation exhibits the most substantial effect. these findings hold significant implications for the efficient management of water resources and the preservation of the ecological environment within the Yellow River basin. © 2024 SPIE.

there are various diseases which attack the groundnut crops resulting in the worst quality of nut production. To create an automatic method for spotting them early, in the proposed work, a deep learning-based InceptionV3 model has been developed. this will help stop big yield losses due to the disease's effect on the crop. this study looks at using the InceptionV3 convolutional neural network (CNN) for detecting diseases in groundnut leaves. It compares how well Stochastic Gradient Descent (SGD) and Adam optimizers do the prediction at different numbers of epochs. the study uses a large collection of data that includes five diseased and healthy classes of groundnut leaves. this model shows excellent findings for groundnut leaf disease detection, which gets 97.30% accuracy with SGD and 96.56% correct prediction using an Adam optimizer. In this work, the results have been depicted with varying numbers of epochs. the proposed InceptionV3 is a popular deep-learning design for feature extraction, that helps the model spot small patterns and shows different types of diseases. this study shows the outcomes in terms of metrics such as accuracy, recall, precision, and F1 score. It helps to better understand how well an InceptionV3 model works for different disease types classification. the results show that when the InceptionV3 model is implemented with SGD, it performs well for groundnut leaf disease categorization. the results show its potential to be used for real-world tasks related to agriculture where the optimal classification is the matter of concern. Lastly, the results show that InceptionV3 is good for finding diseases in groundnut leaves on the basis of various parameters. the work also shows, how important it is to choose a correct optimizer method for a particular problem statement. the accuracy rates of 97.30% with SGD and 96.56% with Adam show how good the model is for real use in farms, it can also help farmers in classifying the diseases early on so they can
