Fractures of the talar neck and body are associated with spine fractures and scoliosis deformity, which affect cosmetic appearance and cause difficulty in ambulation. the implant design for talus surgery is thriving as a functional alternative in case of severe talar destruction, focusing on segmentation and reconstruction of the talus’s shape. However, manual segmentation of the talus is time-consuming and subjective. In this study, we exploited the automatic segmentation framework to efficiently train a deep learning-based model to accurately segment the talus based on computed tomography imaging. We developed three model configurations with nnU-Net and investigated their Dice similarity coefficients (DSC) and 95% Hausdorff distances (HD95) for talus segmentation on a CT image dataset. the three configurations performed well (DSC>0.95, HD95 © 2023 SPIE.

the concept of Bitcoin first came into creation in 2008, as a response to the Great Financial Crisis, and the world of finances relies upon banks for all kinds of financial transactions as intermediaries. Bitcoin is more than a cryptocurrency used as payment for investors to hold and hope for value;it is considered a digital asset these days. While Bitcoin transactions take place in the cyber network, possibilities are there for cyber-Attacks. To protect Bitcoins from illegal miners of Bitcoin data, it is required to find all possible intrusions, called vulnerabilities. If more vulnerabilities exist in the network that makes the transactions vulnerable. As of now, Bitcoin uses centralized Blockchain technology, where the transaction made by the user are managed by various blockchain methods like Merkelroot, Mining, Halving, Keys, and Wallets. these methods provide security to the cryptocurrencies online. Among all the four methods, Wallets are somewhat vulnerable due to their dual services i.e., custodians and non-custodians. Non-custodian Wallet type doesn't cause vulnerability due to not having any storage for keys. Whereas the Custodian Wallet type provides storage of keys for the customers which makes it as vulnerable. the techniques that lead to vulnerability in the custodian type are hot storage, cold storage, and deep cold storage. the exploitation of all these individual techniques is the main task of this work. When it comes to transactions of bitcoin along the network where the receiver needs to wait around 30 minutes due to mempool. this is also a loophole that may trigger the threat to the bitcoin exchange. these vulnerabilities can be reduced by regulatory oversight and reducing the mempool waiting time or it is possible by maintaining more legal crypto miners for every block of transaction. Agriculture is one of the most important industries for the country in terms of sustainability and the economy. Agriculture practises must be improved to preserve a sustainable balance because agriculture's importance and requirement are increasing along with the population. A vital part of the agricultural system is the soil. the accurate and thorough spatial soil information provided by soil composition detection can assist farmers in making decisions that will promote the growth of their crops. As a result, researchers concentrated on using AI and remote sensing to create models for the prediction of soil nutrient information that will aid farmers in exact fertilisation. A precise and economical solution for soil nutrient mapping is now available due to recent developments in sensor technology and machine learning-based soil analysis methods. therefore, using machine learning (ML) techniques on remote sensing data can aid in developing a precision farming decision support system to increase crop output. In order to address the high cost and limited robustness of continuous lens pose calculation in AR application systems, this paper proposes an AR registration method based on the SA-PSO algorithm. this method mainly combines the advantages of SA and PSO algorithms to fit the camera’s position and posture in a top-down manner. By continuously optimizing multiple particles in the feature space, the computational complexity of the AR registration process is reduced, and the effectiveness of registration time and robustness in practical application scenarios is ensured. the experimental results show that the proposed SA-PSO registration method can effectively achieve AR registration fusion in both manual marking and texture feature modes, and has a certain degree of robustness against occlusion. © 2023 SPIE.

the 5th generation of vehicular to everything (V2X) technology has been developed to handle the expanding current traffic congestion and the demand for data flow, which necessitate exceptionally high throughput and low latency to sustain a stable connection. the channel estimate is crucial to upholding this criterion, which aids the user equipment (UE) in selecting the necessary modulation and coding scheme to handle the rapidly shifting V2X environment. In this research, a potential method for predicting channel quality indicator (CQI) using deep learning models that were built by utilizing a real-world 5G environment dataset is proposed. these models are based on long short-term memory (LSTM) and gated recurrent unit (GRU), which use the RSSI, SNR, and velocity of the vehicle to estimate the CQI values. the outcomes of these approaches indicate the possibility of an effective approach for maximizing the use of radio resources in a real-world V2X context. © 2023 IEEE.

In the context of big data, the security problem of smart card operating system is realized independently and controllably, For smart cards and the internet of things, a multi-application microoperating system platform is proposed. the platform’s operating system is based on the virtual machine technology to support the dynamic loading, installation, deletion, and interpretation of the execution of applications, the virtual machine adopts a register-based instruction set architecture, the interpreter is faster, and the instruction optimization is easier. At the same time, the platform provides an application compiler to realize the generation of execution files running in micro-operating systems from source code parsing, compilation, and linking, which supports a variety of programming languages to develop applications, and generates register-based instruction set bytecode EF files after compilation and linking. the platform also provides a set of integrated tools integrated into application source code development, compilation, and loading of applications to virtual OS (or real OS) for application operation, testing, and debugging. Experimental results show that the proposed multi-application microoperating system has good running speed and has the ability to protect high-value and high-sensitive information, and the ability to provide high-level security protection for the device, and provide related tools such as source code development, compilation, run, testing, and debugging of applications, this improves the efficiency of application development, testing, and debugging. © ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering 2025.

the domain generalisation pedestrian re-identification problem aims to generalise features learned in a known pedestrian data domain to an unknown pedestrian target domain. Most traditional domain generalization methods assume that the statistical properties between features and categories remain consistent across data domains. However, actual pedestrian data is often susceptible to domain factors such as lighting, colour shifts, and camera differences. this results in the data distribution of pedestrians under different domains not being identical and hinders the generalisation of the model. To address the above issues, this paper proposes a representation learning algorithm based on causal strong and weak alignment by constructing a structural causal model for the pedestrian domain generalization problem from the perspective of causal inference. the algorithm first performs causal intervention on the input pedestrian data to obtain causally enhanced images, then the image features are fed into the strong alignment module to achieve feature alignment in each dimension and obtain a preliminary invariant representation, finally, the features are then subjected to the constraints of the weak alignment module contrastive loss to further optimise the causal features under different cameras and improve the stability of the model’s cross-domain causal prediction. the method was compared and ablation experiments were carried out on the Market-1501 and DukeMTMC-reID datasets, demonstrating the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2023 SPIE.

In order to accurately detect the grouting defects of construction sleeves, a method for identifying the grouting defects of prefabricated construction sleeves based on computer vision is proposed. the 3D target detection algorithm is used for feature point detection, and the corner detection model of assembled building is constructed to obtain the feature angle detection results and match the feature angles. the constraint relationship is extracted from the data in the image sequence of the grouting defects of the prefabricated construction sleeve, and the parameters of the filling defects of the construction sleeve are calibrated. Finally, the defect identification is completed through the sleeve grouting scanning of computer vision. the experimental results show that the method based on computer vision to identify the grouting defects of prefabricated construction sleeve has strong recognition ability and can well complete the defect identification. © ICST Institute for Computer Sciences, Social Informatics and Telecommunications engineering 2024.

Mobile Adhoc Networks (MANETs) are overburdened with stagnant traffic. As a result, the routing protocol for energy-efficient with load balancing has become an urgent need for MANET, especially given the limited battery resources in the nodes. Most of the existing routing protocols are time-consuming because they consider power at the expense of time and over-routing. An energy-saving, meta-inference-based load balancing protocol is an alternative model that is more challenging than traditional routing schemes. therefore, in this research activity, a meta-inference-based Bald Eagle Search (BES) approach is developed for an optimal routing protocol for balancing the load in energy usage. there are three major steps used in the BES, while hunting the fish. Initially, the location of the vast number of prey is selected by an eagle in the space selection stage;the searching process of prey is carried out by moving into the selected space during the space search stage. Finally, during the dive stage, the best point is identified for hunting by swings from the best position that are determined in the second stage. therefore, the optimal path is identified by the proposed BES, while considering the parameters of energy, bandwidth, delay, reliability, and quality. Finally, the proposed algorithm supports Quality of Services (QoS) and finds the shortest path from one source to the destination with the lowest power consumption. When analyzing the results based on simulation, the proposed BES scheme showed a significant improvement in better battery life, less energy consumption, and high throughput. © 2023 IEEE.

In this work, Al-doped Ga2O3 thin films were prepared on quartz substrates using radio frequency magnetron co-sputtering, and the influence of Al2O3 sputtering power on properties of the films was investigated. It was found that the Al content in the films increased with the increase in sputtering power, reaching 30.63 at.% at a sputtering power of 100 W. All the films prepared exhibited highly transparent in the visible and near-ultraviolet regions (>85%). In comparison to undoped Ga2O3 films, Al-doped Ga2O3 films exhibit a pronounced blue shift in their absorption edges, with the degree of blue shift increasing as the sputtering power is raised. © 2024 SPIE.
