With the advancement of computer technology and intelligent navigation systems, the manual button-operated ballast water handling on bulk carriers has been upgraded to computer system operations. Addressing issues such as the independence of ship stowage calculation computer systems, the absence of interfaces connecting them to the ballast water system, and the inability to dynamically synchronize Calculation ballast water and cargo handling during loading and unloading operations, a virtual simulation system has been developed. This system simulates cargo loading and unloading as well as ballast water operations, serving both training purposes and providing remote ballast water control and intelligent vessel management capabilities. The advantages and applications of this system lie in its ability to enhance the safety and efficiency of ballast water management through computational integration while simultaneously strengthening crew training. In view of the fact that Covid-19 is highly contagious, which poses great threat and inconvenience to people's production and life, a multifunctional robot control system with single-chip microcomputer as the control core is designed, aiming at the problems of centralized isolation points in communities, complicated situation and difficult management. Firstly, Gmapping algorithm is used to realize the robot's autonomous positioning and avoidance. Secondly, a three-degree-of-freedom robot arm is designed to disinfect any indoor space. Finally, Gmapping algorithm is used to recognize and measure the temperature of human face. Through the simulation experiment, this method can improve the efficiency of searching the shortest path and carry out disinfection work while reducing human contact, improving public safety and has practical value.

This paper presents a real-time object sorting system that classifies objects based on color and detects surface defects in an intelligent manner for multi-purpose application like autonomous vehicles, supply chain, robotics and so on. The proposed system uses state-of-the-art camera module to capture images of objects and processes them through computervision to classify items based on color and defect status. The captured images are compared against a custom dataset of labeled samples to ensure accuracy. Based on performance metrics, the intelligent CNN algorithm demonstrates superior classification accuracy compared to RFC, especially in complex scenarios. The edge processor module controls sorting mechanism, where servos actuate to direct objects into designated bins based on classification results. The research work illustrates exploring the potential of machine learning algorithm in automated quality assurance, offering scalable, adaptable, and efficient solutions for industrial applications.

Due to the complex working environment of live robot, it is necessary to tighten the bolt and replace the shock hammer with the robot arm. Therefore, it is very important to design the trajectory tracking control strategy of the manipulator with high performance. In this paper, a terminal sliding mode control strategy based on time delay estimation is proposed by combining the delay estimation strategy with the terminal sliding mode control method. In this strategy, time delay estimation method is used to estimate and compensate the uncertainty in the system to offset its influence. At the same time, terminal sliding mode control is used to realize trajectory tracking. By introducing nonlinear terms, a fast terminal sliding mode surface function is designed to reduce the time required for the system state to converge to the equilibrium point. This method has faster convergence speed and higher tracer precision, which can better complete the live work task of the robot.

With the global outbreak of Corona Virus Disease 2019(COVID-19), many countries had made it mandatory for people to wear masks in public places. This paper proposed a novel mask detection algorithm RMPC (Restructing the Maxpool layer and the Convolution layer)-YOLOv7 based on YOLOv7 for detecting whether people wear masks in public places. The RMPC-YOLOv7 algorithm reconstructed the downsampling structure in the original YOLOv7 algorithm. We changed the stacking of the maxpooling layer and the convolutional layer. This enabled the feature information to be fully integrated to achieve the accuracy improvement of the new model. Through comparison experiments, our proposed RMPC-YOLOv7 had was improved 0.9% and 1.2% for mAP0.5 and mAP0.5:0.95, respectively. The experimental results demonstrated the feasibility of RMPC-YOLOv7.

China became the world's largest apple producer, accounting for over 50% of the global planting area and output. The increasing urbanization has led to a decline in agricultural workers and higher labor costs, prompting the inevitable trend of employing picking robots for apple harvesting, supported by the widespread use of computervision technology in agricultural automation. This paper employs a comprehensive approach using YOLOv7, ResNet, and ViT models for fruit detection, ripeness assessment, and quality estimation. Initially, the YOLOv7 model processes input images to generate detection boxes identifying apples and further quantifies the number of apples in each image. Subsequently, based on the detection boxes from the YOLOv7 model, color analysis is performed to calculate fruit ripeness, presenting the results in the form of a histogram for a more intuitive understanding of ripeness distribution. Next, by calculating the red pixel area of identified apples, the study estimates fruit quality and presents the results as a histogram, illustrating the distribution of fruits of varying quality. Finally, the ResNet and ViT models are used for image classification, comparing their accuracy on a validation set to evaluate their performance differences in fruit image classification tasks. This integrated process provides a comprehensive and accurate analysis for fruit detection and assessment, offering robust support for subsequent research in fruit quality analysis and classification.
