The mathematical model of a two-wheeled robotic machine (TWRM) with five degrees of freedom (DOF) is utilized in this paper to enlarge the workspace and enhance the robot’s flexibility. The suggested machine features five degrees of freedom (DOFs), which makes it suitable for pick-and-place, material handling, and packing tasks in the workplace. The proposed architecture will make it more difficult to control the system to account for the center of mass’ (COM) location changing as a result of managing tasks that must be performed in multiple directions. The state space model was created by linearizing the non-linear modeling equations at the equilibrium point using the Lagrangian modeling. Numerous controllers, including the proportional-integral-derivative (PID), linear-quadratic regulator (LQR), and PID with LQR methods, were tested in order to stabilize the robot. The PID with LQR technique, where PID was used as a feedforward to control the intermediate body (IB) and end-effector and LQR was used as state feedback to regulate all states. These controllers were evaluated while taking into account a variety of circumstances (disturbance signals, tracking pathways, and moving actuators). In terms of least overshoot, rising time, and applied input forces, simulation results showed that PID with LQR controller tuned performed better than the other two control systems.

The theory of QKD was first introduced in the 1980s. Initially, classical cryptographic methods were used to secure communication, but it was not a secure approach. Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) represents high-tech solution in the arena of secure and reliable cryptography and communication. Quantum key distribution make the use of quantum superposition and quantum entanglement to facilitate the secure interchange of cryptographic keys between two parties, with a theoretical invulnerability resistant to many threats, also including the threats that classical computing faces. On the other hand, blockchain is secured through cryptographic measures. A wide range of block chain applications rely on digital signatures and hash function which is easily traceable by quantum computers. The progress in quantum computing poses a potential risk of compromising existing cryptographic algorithms, in response to this challenge, proposals for potential solutions, such as the development of quantum-resistant blockchains, are being presented. The motivation of this study is to secure blockchain with the help of QKD. Fundamentally, understanding quantum key distribution is challenging. Hence, this research employs a Quantum Key Distribution Network simulator to analyze key distribution. The study focuses on illuminating the security concerns within blockchain and explores a potential solution through the deployment of quantum key distribution. Additionally, the research delves into the examination of a quantum key distribution network using a dedicated simulator.

Considering the high penetration impact on the grid system brought by the grid-connected distributed energy, there is the fact that the conventional grid-connected inverters do not have the advantage of rotational inertia, which can increase the operational risk of the system. Combined with the wind farm multi-terminal DC transmission system, an adaptive virtual synchronous generator control strategy based on the adaptive virtual governor function is proposed. Combined with the virtual synchronous governor module, a virtual synchronous generator (VSG) control strategy with inertial response and primary frequency regulation capability is established. However, considering the fluctuating and intermittent characteristics of distributed power supply, the power supply and demand imbalance will lead to the load state of the energy storage equipment exceeding the safe operation range during the long-term operation. Based on aforementioned questions, the method of adjusting the sag coefficient according to the charge state is extended to the VSG-based control. By introducing the concept of adaptive sag characteristics, the VSG control is further improved by using the method of shifting sag characteristics. The improved VSG control method reduces the impact on the system stability and represents more conducive to the rational distribution of active power and the rapid adjustment of the charge state. The simulation results validate the rationality of the proposed control strategy by using the Matlab/Simulink tool.
