Fruits contain a lot of fiber. Fruits contain biologically active substances that improve our health. This study focuses on identifying and classifying guava fruit diseases. Guava disease has become a significant issue for guava production, threatening farmers' socioeconomic growth. As a result of this phenomenon, an automated computer vision-based guava disease diagnosis system was developed that can detect malicious guava and direct it to early cure approaches, reducing relative economic loss. In light of this, we present in this study a guava illness detection and categorization recommendation approach based on convolutional neural networks (CNN). This paper employs transfer learning to classify images using our customized convolutional neural network (CNN) model architecture. The photographs in the data set were obtained from the Mendeley Data website. The data set includes 306 images of healthy and unhealthy guava fruits and leaves. The four disease classes targeted by the data sets are dot, Canker, mummification, and Rust. We obtained an average accuracy of 74.72% for training and 34.74% for testing from the data set used. © 2024 IEEE.

In the era of we-media big data and AIGC, various kinds of network false information emerge in an endless stream. How to effectively control the spread of false information and its variants in the Internet has become the focus of attention of network management agencies at all levels and new media in all walks of life. This paper starts with various models and methods to maximize the influence of network communication, studies the key nodes and critical paths in network information communication, and designs a dynamic multi-objective control optimization algorithm for false information propagation based on such key nodes and paths, so as to effectively control the spread of network false information in the Internet we-media era. By testing the influence of network communication of specified information, dynamic multi-objective optimization control algorithm can effectively reduce the penetration rate and propagation speed of false information. Practice has proved that the relevant propagation control algorithm has a remarkable inhibition effect on the network transmission of specific information, and the inhibition effect is more than 15% higher than that of other similar algorithms. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. The research is related to the development of interactive applications for processing geodata about the state of the road network in cities. This area is rapidly developing and is promising for research, analysis and development of information systems. Due to a number of shortcomings of the existing geographic information systems the goal was set to develop a new advanced geographic information system considering the problems described above. To achieve this goal, it was necessary to develop new mathematical models for analyzing geodata on the state of technical means of traffic management. Also, the solutions about maintenance of these means had to be developed. An analysis of the subject area was carried out, on the basis of which the task of creating a geographic information system was set. Using modern tools, a geographic information system prototype was developed and its user testing was carried out. Research has shown the best results when developing an optimal solution using the method of genetic algorithms. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, a modified ultra-high gain DC-DC boost converter has been proposed. The proposed converter has improved the performance of the conventional converter by increasing the voltage gain 2.34 times that of the conventional converter by adding a classical doubler circuit (2 capacitors and 2 diodes) in the design structure. In addition, the continuous input current features are retained in the proposed structure. The steady-state modeling, including the operating principles and the stress calculation of the components, has been illustrated. The proposed model has been simulated in Matlab/Simulink software with proper component specification. The simulation's results validate the correctness of the proposed converter by aligning well with the findings of the mathematical computation. © 2024 IEEE.

Natural disasters like flood happen when water overtakes normally dry places. During rescue missions aimed at saving lives, rescue teams responding to floods encounter numerous obstacles. Locating and discovering survivors is a vital component of rescue operations. For quick flood survivor recognition, the suggested approach combines image fusion with the YOLO (You Only Look Once) model, offering a novel method. This model utilizes image fusion by merging data from various sources, including RGB and Near Infrared Red (NIR) images captured by Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). In order to efficiently identify flood survivors and aid rescue crews in their effort to preserve lives, the resulting fused image is processed using the YOLO model. © 2024 IEEE.

Blockchain technology is an advanced system centered around the concept of a shared and immutable ledger, emphasizing decentralization, security, and transparency. Transactions on a blockchain are securely linked through cryptographic hashes, forming blocks. A fundamental component of blockchain is the consensus mechanism, which comes in various types, each with its own advantages and limitations. For instance, Proof of Work (PoW) faces challenges related to energy consumption, while Proof of Stake (PoS) is susceptible to certain attacks. This paper proposes a hybrid consensus mechanism that integrates Practical Byzantine Fault Tolerance (PBFT) and Proof of Stake (PoS) using a quorum-based tier approach. This new hybrid model combines the refined features of both PoS and PBFT to create a hierarchical structure for reaching consensus. Nodes are categorized into high-tier and low-tier groups, with the consensus process primarily involving high-tier nodes. Low-tier nodes serve as backups in situations like network issues or node failures. Through experimentation it is evident that the hybrid consensus mechanism achieves a balance between decentralization and energy efficiency. The results demonstrate that this newly developed mechanism outperforms several existing consensus algorithms in terms of throughput and latency. © 2024 IEEE.

The key technique of sit-and-reach distance measurement in this study mainly consists of two stages: the first stage is the initial calibration of the test site, including camera calibration, identification and calibration of the test site identification points and finger key points;the second stage is the distance measurement stage, including the calculation of the coordinates of the finger tip to the scale projection point of the suspended distance measurement and the calculation of the conversion distance of the projection point. After the validity test of ranging, the error was 0. 148cm with standard deviation of 0.118, maximum value of 0.495, and minimum value of 0.002 for 90 experiments, which proved that the research results had high ranging accuracy. Since this study uses a common webcam, the method is easy to be widely used. © 2022 IEEE.

this paper introduces a deep learning-based driver fatigue detection system using a convolutional neural network (CNN). Unlike traditional methods, it directly extracts visual features from in-vehicle camera images. The dataset, annotated with severe, mild, and normal fatigue levels, undergoes data augmentation to avoid overfitting. A customized CNN, trained with dropout and auxiliary classifiers, achieves a high accuracy of 92.4% on unseen test images. The system offers real-time, non-intrusive fatigue monitoring, enhancing driving safety by alerting distracted drivers and preventing hazardous behaviors due to drowsiness. This advancement represents a significant step forward in intelligent vehicle safety technologies. © 2023 IEEE.

Based on the computer automatic control technology, this paper designs the energy efficiency optimization method for the traditional water-cooled central air conditioning host system. The chilled water control based on load prediction fuzzy control and the cooling water control based on adaptive fuzzy algorithm are used in the system, and the cooling water supply of the chiller is matched with the end load demand, and the cooling water system is running at maximum efficiency. Then on the basis of the single point fault tolerance design and the key points of energy-saving automatic control design, the design effect of HVAC system in data room is analyzed. Compared with PID control and single neural network reinforcement learning control, the total energy consumption of the system is reduced by 5.36% and 1.64%, and the total proportion of non-comfort time is reduced by 2.32% and 1.37%, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

Telemedicine services are internet-based healthcare services that constantly monitors the patient located remotely and provide low-cost medical treatment to them. The privacy of individual data and the reliability of medical equipment connected through IoT is a matter of concern for both service seekers as well as service providers. IoT devices that are being used in Medical applications also known as Medical Internet of Things (MIoT) have many constraints like memory size, processing capacity, and power consumption which make it challenging in terms of cost-effectiveness and energy-efficient security solutions. The recent literatures have much emphasized Radio-Frequency Identification (RFID) based security solutions, RFIDs provide energy-efficient and low-cost mechanisms for data communication between medical sensors and the cloud server. In this paper, we have proposed a privacy-preserving lightweight mutual authentication and session key generation scheme to establish secure communication for RFID enabled MIoT devices. This scheme will enable a secure authentication between a passive RFID tag and an RFID reader connected through a cloud server using light-weight cryptographic primitives such as bitwise XOR, OR, one-way hash function, and pseudo-random number generators (PNG). We have also performed the security analysis of our proposed scheme and have compared the results with pre-existing work in this area. © 2024 IEEE.
