Grocery shopping stands as a quintessential task in everyday life, yet it often involves complex decision-making processes influenced by factors such as individual preferences, budget constraints, and time limitations. In response to the intricacies of this routine chore, the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Reinforcement Learning (RL), has emerged as a promising avenue for optimization. RL empowers autonomous agents to navigate the grocery shopping landscape by learning optimal strategies through iterative interactions with the environment. By employing RL algorithms, these agents can adapt and refine their decision-making processes over time, aiming to maximize cumulative rewards such as cost savings, time efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Such personalized and dynamic approaches hold significant potential for revolutionizing traditional grocery shopping experiences, offering tailored recommendations, mitigating decision fatigue, and ultimately streamlining the overall shopping journey for consumers. In this context, the application of RL techniques serves as a powerful tool to optimize the process of grocery shopping. By formulating the problem within a framework of states, actions, transition probabilities, and rewards, RL algorithms enable an autonomous agent to learn an optimal strategy for navigating through a network of shops to fulfill a given shopping list efficiently. In this work, through the implementation of value iteration, Q-learning, and representation policy iteration methods, the agent can learn and refine its decision-making policy, ultimately simplifying and enhancing the grocery shopping experience for consumers. © 2024 IEEE.

Aiming at the altitude control problem of tandem twin rotor UAV, a PID controller based altitude control method is proposed in this paper. First of all, the dynamic and kinematic analysis of the UAV is conducted, and then a model is built in MATLAB/Simulink, and the parameters of the PID controller are optimized to achieve precise control of the UAV's altitude. The simulation results show that the proposed control method has high control accuracy and robustness, and can maintain stability even when facing external disturbances. This study provides a feasible PID control solution for altitude control of tandem twin-rotor UAV, which has certain practical application value. © 2023 IEEE.

3D scene reconstruction represents a pivotal domain within computer vision, involving a diverse array of techniques ranging from classical geometry-driven approaches to modern deep learning-based models. This review article offers an extensive summary of cutting-edge methods for 3D reconstruction, including techniques such as Structure-from-Motion (SfM) and Multi-View Stereo (MVS), as well as cutting-edge deep learning techniques including CNNs, GANs,Variational Autoencoders (VAEs) and Neural Radiance Fields (NeRF). We analyze the strengths and limitations of each approach, particularly in terms of accuracy, efficiency, generalization, and their ability to handle complex scenes. Furthermore, we delve into the key challenges faced in 3D scene reconstruction, including the trade-offs between computational efficiency and model accuracy, the generalization to diverse environments, and the integration of multi-modal data sources. Special attention is given to NeRF, a breakthrough in the field, discussing its current capabilities and potential areas for improvement in future research. This review aims to serve as a resource for researchers and practitioners by summarizing the current landscape of 3D reconstruction technologies and identifying promising directions for future exploration. © 2024 IEEE.

Image-based 3D reconstruction is one of the most important tasks in computer vision with many solutions proposed over the last few decades. The objective is to extract metric information i.e. the geometry of scene objects directly from images. These can then be used in a wide range of applications such as film, games, virtual reality, etc. Recently, deep learning techniques have been proposed to tackle this problem. They rely on training on vast amounts of data to learn to associate features between images through deep convolutional neural networks and have been shown to outperform traditional procedural techniques. In this paper, we improve on the state-of-the-art two-view structure-from-motion(SfM) approach of [11] by incorporating 4D correlation volume for more accurate feature matching and reconstruction. Furthermore, we extend it to the general multi- view case and evaluate it on the complex benchmark dataset DTU [5]. Quantitative evaluations and comparisons with state-of-the-art multi-view 3D reconstruction methods demonstrate its superiority in terms of the accuracy of reconstructions. © 2023 IEEE.

In this study, the author intends to provide a suitable design for the express distribution path to shorten delivery times. If the route is not well-planned, the delivery time for an express shuttle between cities will be extremely long. The primary purpose of this experimental research is to combine K-means and pointer network optimization to examine the ability of pointer networks in express route planning, improve pointer network performance in the TSP challenge, and obtain a shorter express route planning. The improved K-Pointer-Network is compared to the regular pointer network in this study. According to model theory and experimental data, it can be demonstrated that clustering data samples independently improves computational performance and planning results in many cases, and that when the model is confronted with a large number of test inputs, the K-Pointer-Network outperforms the traditional pointer network and provides relatively good express route planning. © 2022 IEEE.

Cricket is globally a famous game in which different technologies are being used to help the umpire in correct decision management. The bowl delivery is whether a fair one or LBW which is generally a matter of concern. Sometimes the decision of third umpire also goes wrong. This kind of error in making the decision can change the dimension of the game so, it is essential to make the decision precisely. This paper proposes computer vision and image subtraction technique. At first, it must figure out that whether a delivery is no-ball or the fair one, for that image processing method is used on popping crease by detecting the pixel size. If the delivery is a fair one then, it will track the movement of the ball by using the colour segmentation method, video processing on the pitch. In order to more accurately evaluate the human-machine interaction efficiency of the command and control system, this article establishes an evaluation index system based on the three elements of human-machine interaction (air battle managers, command and control system, and interaction equipment). The entropy weight method is used to assign weights to each index, and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation (FCE) method is used to comprehensively evaluate the two types of command and control systems. Finally, The GOMS model is used to verify the evaluation method from the aspects of task completion efficiency, cognitive load of the ABMs, etc. The results show the feasibility and effectiveness of the method, which provides a scientific and convenient evaluation method for human-computer interaction effectiveness of the command and control system. © 2023 IEEE.

The integrity of electoral systems is paramount in ensuring democratic processes. This paper explores the use of homomorphic encryption (HE) in electoral voting systems, providing a robust solution for maintaining voter privacy while enabling transparent and verifiable vote tallying. Customer service is one of the critical aspects that determines the success of most businesses. Evaluating the conversational and performance efficiency of customer service representatives (CSRs) plays a huge role. However, conventional methods such as customer feedback and manual call reviews can be very time-consuming and inconsistent. This paper proposes the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to automate the evaluation of conversations that CSRs have with customers. By analyzing metrics such as empathy, tone, clarity, and problem resolution, LLMs objectively assess the CSR's performance. This would help managers and CSRs with insights into conversational improvements, while RAG equips CSRs with relevant information before customer interactions. The results suggest that this approach not only automates efficiently the whole process of employee evaluation from the business's perspective but also enhances the quality of customer interactions. © 2024 IEEE.
