With the development of network technology, due to the deficiencies of traditional calibration technology, a tele-calibration plan of thermocouple and resistance is presented. Combing the DataSocket with the Remote panel technology and Virtual Instrument technology, this system realizes remote temperature control, multi-channel data acquisition, video monitoring, network data transmission and remotely completes the calibration process. Experimental results show that the tele-calibration improves the efficiency of the calibration, it allows the calibration anytime and anywhere possible, transmission of data are accurate. The system provides a friendly user interface. Meanwhile, it ensures the reliability and real-time of network communication.

The magnetic gradient tensor exploration system (MGTES) has many advantages which can not be found in the magnetic total field and vector measurement system. So MGTES has become one of the main development directions of magnetic surveys. MGTES made by multi-fluxgate is born with the advantages of low-cost, low motion noise, portability and so on. But the system is constituted by multiple sensors. The consistency of sensors has a great influence on exploration or even results in failure. A prominent problem of consistency is that the fluxgate sensor produces a random zero drift when powered. We analyzed the influence of the zero drift in MGTES and proposed a method to eliminate the zero drift in the wild conveniently. The feasibility and practicality of the method were verified by theoretical simulation.

To improve performance of traffic signal control system in urban area, a novel method is proposed in this paper. The roads, vehicles and the traffic control systems are all modeled as intelligent agents. Wireless communication network provides the possibility of the cooperation of vehicles and roads. Based on all the information from vehicles and roads, a traffic control policy can be planned online according to the updated situation on the roads. The optimum intersection signals can be learned automatically on line based on reinforcement learning. An intersection signal control system is studied as an example of the method with a Q-learning based algorithm. The simulation results show that the proposed intersection signal control can improve traffic efficiency by about 30% over the traditional method.
