The parameters of suspension system cannot change according to the road excitation, and the system can only store or exhaust the body vibration energy. The active suspension system can improve both the riding comfort and handing safety in various operation conditions. The least means squares adaptive algorithm is used in active suspension system. For the least means squares adaptive algorithm, the minimum quadratic performance index is obtained according to adjusting the weight of the adaptive filter. For vehicle suspension model, the sky-hook control, generalized adaptive control and least means squares adaptive control are studied. For least means squares adaptive control suspension, compared with passive suspension, acceleration decreases largely as 8-10 times in study frequency domain. The simulation calculation results that the least means squares adaptive control strategy may largely improve the performances of the suspension system.

This paper models and studies the dynamic characteristics of slewing system of 80T truck crane. Analyzing the composition and working principle of the hydraulic system, and building the model of slewing system based on AMESim, then testing the model. And the simulation analysis results indicate the factors which affect the dynamic characteristics of the system and propose the measures to improve them. The results show that adopting the bypass circuit makes the shock pressure reduced 18 percent when the system operates;besides, changing the system's control strategy and installing one-way throttle enhance the stability of braking obviously.
