The internet has become a vital part of every person's life today. The world is becoming smarter with applications. Many systems use distributed environment for working. Threads, attacks, and vulnerabilities are the major security concerns of any distributed system. The distributed system is vulnerable to DDoS attacks at different layers of the network. The most harmful attack on the distributed system is distributed Denial of Service Attack (DDoS) in which an attacker can simply halt the working of all other users connected to the network. To secure distributed systems against DDOS attacks, various intrusion detection mechanisms and tree-based approaches have been proposed for information security. Most of these proposed mechanisms mention in this paper only concentrate on a single type of DDoS attack at any given time. Hence, developing a system that will support detecting and preventing various DDoS attacks is necessary. This paper provides a survey of DDoS attack detection and prevention using traditional techniques and tree-based techniques. Also, this paper will give an introduction to the proposed methodology Network Analysis Tree (NAT) which will be working on the detection and prevention of different DDoS attacks like flooding, DNS amplification, ICMP Smurf, Collision, Jamming, and Tampering. © 2022 IEEE.

Traditional supply chain management for beauty and cosmetics products often require a wide range of ingredients sourced from diverse geographic locations, making it challenging to manage multiple suppliers, quality control, and logistics. It involves the coordination of multiple companies in the processing and distribution of goods. However, this system faces challenges such as increasing complexity, integration processes, and data validation inefficiencies. The cosmetics industry is prone to counterfeit products, which can lead to brand reputation damage, financial losses, and even health risks to consumers. Traditional supply chain management struggles to detect and prevent counterfeiting. The solution to these challenges is to leverage blockchain technology, which provides a secure, decentralized, and efficient framework for data storage and processing. By implementing blockchain, our supply chain management system ensures data integrity, reduces transaction processing time, and enhances overall efficiency. We utilize frameworks such as Hyperledger Fabric and Hyperledger Composer to create a comprehensive blockchain application tailored to the challenges faced by traditional supply chain management. Our system's test results demonstrate a significant improvement in the accuracy and efficiency of tracking and verifying product information, including ingredients and claims. This advancement leads to a more reliable and trustworthy cosmetic supply chain. By fostering a more efficient, secure, and data-driven approach to supply chain management, our system empowers businesses to effectively track assets, ensure product quality, and mitigate fraud. The result is a streamlined and dependable supply chain that better serves both businesses and consumers. © 2024 IEEE.

To improve the safety and reliability of distributed drive electric vehicles, fault-tolerant control research is conducted in this paper. This paper compares fault-tolerant control of motor sudden shutdown fault in electric vehicles based on proportion integration and derivation (PID) controller and Fuzzy controller, to guarantee stability in the event of a distributed electric vehicle motor fault. The results show that both PID and Fuzzy controllers can be used to stabilize the vehicle speed and help achieve fault tolerant control of steering in low-speed single lane change (SLC) conditions, with the fuzzy controller being more effective. © The Institution of Engineering & Technology 2023.

With the establishment and development of integrated monitoring platforms and communication information platforms for intelligent substations, the data volume of the power system is showing explosive growth. However, existing data centers have poor processing capabilities for massive amounts of data, making it difficult to meet the multiple service quality requirements of users. How to effectively manage massive and complex data, fully utilize the value of data, improve service quality, reduce operational costs, and achieve rapid response to users is an urgent problem to be solved. Therefore, based on the actual needs of power enterprises, this article proposed a cloud computing power data middleware architecture based on distributed technology, which effectively managed, cleaned, converted, and evaluated power data sources through cloud computing platforms. This article mainly analyzed the shortcomings of traditional power data processing platforms and the feasibility of cloud computing based power data platforms. Finally, through load balancing bias comparison and pressure testing experiments under different task numbers, it was proven that cloud computing systems outperformed traditional power data processing systems in terms of utility value, completion time, and load balancing. Moreover, in the pressure testing experiment, under the condition of 10 concurrent users and 673 system request transactions, 91.3% of the interface response time in the cloud computing system was within 50ms. Therefore, cloud computing systems have certain advantages in processing power data. © 2023 IEEE.

Combining Proof of Space (PoSpace) and Proof of Replication (PoRep) with interoperability protocols and distributed file systems in cloud computing may change the game. This combination has the potential to usher in a paradigm change in cloud infrastructures, bringing with it new heights of safety, scalability, and efficacy. Both PoSpace and PoRep provide new ways of storing information on blockchain networks. The energy consumption of PoSpace is much lower than that of conventional Proof of Work (PoW) algorithms because it uses unused storage space as a resource for consensus. In contrast, PoRep strengthens the robustness of the cloud system by evaluating the storage replication between nodes to guarantee data integrity. Protocols for interoperability across blockchains are crucial to their capacity to communicate with one another. They make it easier to trade information and assets, leading to a more cohesive ecosystem that goes beyond the boundaries of different blockchains. Increased connectivity and productivity in the cloud are both benefits of interoperability. By distributing data storage over a network, distributed file systems usher in a new era of administration efficiency. © 2023 IEEE.

The Byzantine fault-tolerant (BFT) consensus algorithm is widely used in blockchain systems due to its ability to tolerate malicious nodes and ensure system consistency. However, existing consensus protocols still face significant challenges. This paper proposes a pipeline-based graph structure Byzantine Fault Tolerant (PGS-BFT) consensus algorithm. It leverages parallel pipeline execution to accelerate block generation efficiency. By synchronizing block dependencies among nodes, all validated blocks eventually form an ordered graph structure within a cycle, enabling nodes to achieve final consensus. The proposed PGS-BFT algorithm effectively improves system consensus efficiency and reduces transaction latency while ensuring Byzantine fault-tolerant security. It can be applied to existing consortium blockchain platforms. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper introduces XMeta-OS, a meta-operating system specially designed with Linux as its foundation to unify and optimize resource management for the distributed edge-cloud when dynamic use of GPU resources is possible. This approach offer a new GPU abstraction layer and dynamic edge-cloud allocation model that offer enhanced flexibility and resource utilization over existing systems like Kubernetes and OpenStack. By using likely sensitive data, the model applied cloud-pushed deployment model. XMeta-OS manages computer resources in real-time. Therefore, fulfilling high performance various needs. It allocates CPU and GPU in real-time to workloads requiring massive parallel processing, such as machine learning, scientific simulations, real-time data analytics, and transportation tasks. Fabrication in the laboratory of an edge-cloud environment can help to assess the scalability, fault tolerance and efficiency of the system. It showcases the overall architectural design of XMeta-OS. Changes to the kernel and security solutions for safe and effective distribution are suggested. This article presents the design of the XMeta-OS. The future of XMeta-OS entails usage and testing with which we see latency, energy, computation and other such measurements in labs. XMeta-OS is a solution to cost performance, emerging application, large-scale edge-cloud deployments, and distributed GPU-enabled infrastructures. Federated Average algorithm (FEDAVG) is the preferred algorithm for federated learning (FL) because of its simplicity and low communication cost However, if all clients's local data aren't independent and equally distributed (that is, nonindependent and identically distributed), FedAvg will have the phenomenon of customer drift, which will lead to the slow convergence speed of the model, and then the efficient cooperative learning to realize the cooperative training of multiple clients will face the challenge of data heterogeneity and vulnerability to attack. This paper systematically summarizes three aspects: local model training improvement, server-side aggregation optimization, and personalized federated learning. The local model can be improved by adjusting the loss function and control variables. Servers can be optimized through asynchronous aggregation, hierarchical aggregation. Personalized federated learning can improve global model performance through both data-based and model-based approaches. This paper puts forward the future research direction of federated learning from all above aspects, and provides reference for the further research of non-IID in federated learning, so as to provide investigation and help for researchers in related fields. © 2023 SPIE.

The large-scale access of distributed power sources brings more uncertainty and randomness to the power grid system. The integration of distributed massive renewable energy, energy storage, and electric vehicles has altered the original operation mode of the distribution network, transforming it from deterministic to stochastic, and from unidirectional to bidirectional power flow. Phenomena such as voltage exceeding limits, forward and reverse overloads, and reverse power flow in transformer zones have become increasingly frequent. Therefore, it is crucial to accurately and promptly grasp the operational status of the distribution network, eliminate potential safety hazards and operational risks, and ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid. However, the distribution network faces challenges such as a wide distribution of points, complex structure, and incomplete coverage of measurement and acquisition points. With the construction of a new power system, the number of electrical equipment, generator nodes, and load nodes has multiplied, resulting in a surge in the amount of data and increasing demands for computational efficiency. Additionally, the complexity of the distribution network and the uncertainty of distributed power sources pose challenges for data identification and analysis. To address these issues, this paper proposes a high-dimensional data analysis technology based on digital twins, which is used to analyze the operational status of the distribution network and the interactive and collaborative relationship between power sources, loads, and storage. This approach enhances the management and control capabilities of optimal scheduling, maximum consumption[1], and safe and stable operation of the distribution network. © 2024 SPIE.
