Network capability exposure is an essential 5G network application the flexible service-based architecture of the 5G core (5GC) network becomes the basement for the application of 5G network capabilities. In addition, it becomes a tendency to build a cooperative and win-win innovative business model between telecom networks and 3rd party companies/affiliations. In this paper, we focus on 5GC network capability application. Initially, this paper analyzes the scenarios and use cases as well as their corresponding 5GC network capability requirements. then, this paper introduces the 5GC network exposure architecture and functions. In addition, this paper proposes an improved traffic influence capability exposure method. According to the 5GC lab experimental test, the end-to-end service transfer delay and rate have been improved. the proposed traffic influence capability exposure method can assist telecom operators for the 5GC network capability application and deployment.

Massive MIMO technology is widely used in 5G networks. It is necessary to do research on new intelligent optimization algorithms to improve network performance. In this paper, an intelligent weight selection and optimization algorithm is proposed to improve network coverage and performance. Firstly, based on the technical characteristics of 5G NSA, the technical scheme for obtaining high-precision latitude and longitude information of NSA MR is proposed. Furthermore, a scheme of Massive MIMO weight intelligent optimization based on MR longitude and latitude information is proposed, and the algorithm of intelligent weight selection is used to search for the optimal solution in the Massive MIMO weight space. Considering the limitation of the existing system, a simplified algorithm is proposed to find the local optimal solution, which improves the practicability and popularization value of the algorithm.

Neural network molecular dynamics (NNMD) simulations could revolutionize atomistic modeling of materials with quantum-mechanical accuracy at a fraction of computational cost. However, popular NNMD frameworks are generally implemented for a single computing node, and conventional energy-based NN models still suffer from large time-to-solution (T2S), prohibiting the application of NNMD to challenging materials simulations encompassing large spatiotemporal scales. Consequently, no leadership-scale NNMD simulation has thus far been reported. Here, we present a scalable parallel NNMD software (RXMD-NN) based on our scalable reactive molecular dynamics simulation engine named RXMD. RXMD-NN has achieved high scalability up to 786,432 IBM BlueGene/Q cores involving 1.7 billion atoms. Furthermore, we have achieved 4.6-fold reduction of T2S by using a novel network that directly predicts atomic forces from feature vectors. Reduced T2S has for the first time allowed the study of large-scale off-stoichiometry effect in a widely used phase change material, Ge 2 Se 2 Te 5 , thereby resolving its "firstsharp diffraction peak mystery".

this paper addresses the questions of high-level system modelling using heterogeneous multi-tool modelling environment on parallel multi-core processing systems for simulation acceleration. the modelling technique has been applied for high-level validation of a high-precision Indoor Positioning System for Motion Analysis (IPS-MA) developed in the Central Institute Electronic Systems (ZEA-2) of the Research Center Juelich GmbH. the heterogeneous modelling environment has been built using an implementation-level model designed in Matlab Simulink, a verification model for describing the system environment using Modelica language, and Julia language for automatic generation of binding modelling environment and parallelizing the simulation of the overall model. the approach showed a good flexibility in system description and verification in the multi-instrument modelling environment and a good performance gain due to simulation parallelism.

Critical sections that read, modify, and write (RMW) a small set of addresses are common in parallel applications and concurrent data structures. However, to escape from the intricacies of finegrained locks, which require reasoning about all possible thread interleavings, programmers often resort to coarse-grained locks to ensure atomicity. this results in atomic protection of a much larger set of potentially conflicting addresses, and, consequently, increased lock contention and unneeded serialization. As many before us have observed, these problems would be solved if only general RMW multi-address atomic operations were available, but current proposals are impractical because of deadlock scenarios that appear due to resource limitations. Alternatively, transactional memory can detect conflicts at run-time aiming to maximize concurrency, but it has significant overheads in highly-contended critical sections. In this work, we propose multi-address atomic operations (MAD atomics). MADatomics achieve complexity-effective, non-speculative, non-deadlocking, fine-grained locking for multiple addresses, relying solely on the coherence protocol and a predetermined locking order. Unlike prior works, MAD atomics address the challenge of enabling atomic modification over a set of cachelines with arbitrary addresses, simultaneously locking all of them while sidestepping deadlock. MAD atomics only require a small storage per core (around 68 bytes), while significantly outperforming typical lock implementations. Indeed, our evaluation using gem5-20 shows that MAD atomics can improve performance by up to 18x (3.4x, on average, for the applications and concurrent data structures evaluated in this work) over a baseline implemented with locks running on 16 cores. More importantly, the improvement still reaches 2.7x, on average, compared to an Intel hardware transactional memory implementation running on 16 cores.

Orienting to the competitive exploration of marine resources and the ship intelligent navigation, the broadband and stable maritime communications has regarded as a matter of concern. Due to the particularity of the ocean environment, the maritime communication network is severely restricted compared to the terrestrial one. By understanding the requirement of maritime business, this article deepens the research on maritime communications at offshore areas and ocean and makes a summary of the urgent problems and mainstream communication technologies. Besides, an experimental type of maritime network paradigm based on the coast-5G network involving virtual MIMO technology is present, with a view to providing open issues for the offshore maritime broadband communications.

Knowledge representation learning (KRL) is one of the important research topics in artificial intelligence and Natural language processing. It can efficiently calculate the semantics of entities and relations in a low-dimensional space, and effectively solve the problem of data sparsity, which significantly improve the performance of knowledge acquisition, fusion and reasoning and so on. Starting from the five perspectives of distance-based, semantic matching, bilinear-based, neural network model and additional information model, this paper first introduces the overall framework and specific model design, and then correspondingly introduces the experimental evaluation tasks, metrics and benchmark datasets of each model. On this basis, how to apply KRL to various downstream tasks is summarized. © 2020 ieee.

the performance and energy costs of coordinating and performing data movement have led to proposals adding compute units and/or specialized access units to the memory hierarchy. However, current on-chip offload models are restricted to fixed compute and access pattern types, which limits software-driven optimizations and the applicability of such an offload interface to heterogeneous accelerator resources. this paper presents a computation offload interface for multi-core systems augmented with distributed on-chip accelerators. With energy-efficiency as the primary goal, we define mechanisms to identify offload partitioning, create a low-overhead execution model to sequence these fine-grained operations, and evaluate a set of workloads to identify the complexity needed to achieve distributed near-data *** demonstrate that our model and interface, combining features of dataflow in parallel with near-data processing engines, can be profitably applied to memory hierarchies augmented with either specialized compute substrates or lightweight near-memory cores. We differentiate the benefits stemming from each of elevating data access semantics, near-data computation, inter-accelerator coordination, and compute/access logic specialization. Experimental results indicate a geometric mean (energy efficiency improvement; speedup; data movement reduction) of (3.3; 1.59; 2.4)×, (2.46; 1.43; 3.5)× and (1.46; 1.65; 1.48)× compared to an out-of-order processor, monolithic accelerator with centralized accesses and monolithic accelerator with decentralized accesses, respectively. Evaluating both lightweight core and CGRA fabric implementations highlights model flexibility and quantifies the benefits of compute specialization for energy efficiency and speedup at 1.23× and 1.43×, respectively.

the introduction of Bitcoin cryptocurrency has inspired businesses and researchers to investigate into the technical aspects of blockchain and DLT systems. However, the blockchain technologies today still have distinct limitations on scalability and flexibly in terms of large-size and dynamic reconfigurability. Sharding appears to be a promising solution to scale out the blockchain system horizontally by dividing the entire network into multiple shards or clusters. However, flexibility and reconfigurability of these clusters need further research and investigations. In this paper, we propose two efficient mechanisms to enable flexible dynamic re-clustering of the blockchain network including blockchain cluster merging and splitting operations. Such mechanisms offer a solution to specific application scenarios such as microgrids and other edge-based applications where clusters of autonomous systems potentially require structure reconfigurations. the proposed mechanisms offer three-stage procedures to merge and split multiple clusters. Based on our simulation experiments, we show that the proposed merging and splitting operations based on proof of work (PoW) consensus algorithm can be optimized to reduce the merging time considerably (in the magnitude of 1/22000 based on 100 blocks) which effectively reduces overall merging and splitting completion time, interruption time and required computation power.
