In wireless communication, the Signal to Noise Ratio of the received signal plays an instrumental role in deciding the quality of reception. So, for network optimization, its accurate estimation is paramount. the prime goal of this work is predictive modelling pertaining to SNR in 5G communication using Machine Learning (ML) algorithms. Two different ML techniques which have been employed in this work using MATLAB are Gaussian Process Regression (GPR) and Least Squares Boosting (LSBoost). the GPR is a robust technique based on probabilistic predictions, on the other LSBoost belongs to the family of ensemble learning techniques. As there are several parameters on which the SNR of a 5G system depends, the corresponding dataset is highly non-linear and complex. So, the conventional techniques of estimation can't give promising results in this case. this research elaborates the application of machine learning algorithms in making accurate predictions in such cases. the findings of this work could be effectively employed in optimization and resource allocation in 5G networks. © 2024 IEEE.

the growth of deepfakes, or hyper-realistic synthetic media, demands effective detection algorithms to ensure the validity of visual information. this study presents a unique deepfake detection model based on a hybrid architecture that takes advantage of the characteristics of both Meso-5 and XceptionNet. Meso-5, which is well-known for its capacity to efficiently capture mesoscopic picture characteristics, is carefully paired with Xception-Net’s outstanding feature extraction capabilities. this novel strategy tries to achieve higher deepfake detection accuracy than previous approaches. We assess the proposed model’s performance using the publicly available Deepfake Detection Challenge (DFDC) dataset, which was published by Facebook in 2018. Our results show that this hybrid technique works well, with an impressive accuracy of 81.24% in detecting deepfakes. these findings demonstrate our model’s ability to mitigate the deepfake danger and build a more dependable future for visual information. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

With the development of novel power systems, emerging scenarios such as real-Time power trading, and real-Time control of virtual power plants demand higher standards for the timeliness of power information. We consider a two-way relay network that consists of two users and one relay. Two users are the information sources and destinations of each other, which is cooperative communication. Two users can not connect directly, users finish the transmission through the relay. We propose the auction-based information freshness in two-way relay network. the relay is the auctioneer and users are bidders. We build up Cooperative Game to solve information freshness and prove that there is a unique Nash Equilibrium in relay network. Simulation results validate our theoretical analysis and the impact of information freshness in the system. © 2024 IEEE.

Resonant operation, exploiting high quality-factor planar inductors, has recently enabled giga-Hertz applications in large-Area electronics, opening up a new technology platform for large-scale and flexible wireless systems. this work presents the design, analysis, and characterization methodology of flex-compatible large-Area planar inductors with a record-high quality factor of up to 65 in the 2.4-GHz frequency band. the inductor design and analysis address a key frequency limiter to recently demonstrated large-Area and conformal wireless systems for integrated Internet of things and 5G/6G applications. © 2023 IEEE.

the State Council's latest Guidance on Actively Promoting 'Internet +' emphasizes that 'the development of a new generation of mobile communication networks and the next generation of the Internet should be accelerated', and the construction of 5G base stations has become a top priority in this new era. However, the current 5G signal has problems such as high coverage duplication rate. this paper proposes an intelligent 5G micro-base station signal identification method based on deep learning. Combining infrared imaging technology and machine learning technology, the deep learning algorithm can effectively reduce the duplicated coverage and the number of base stations installed in some areas, so as to reduce the waste of power caused by the idle power consumption of base stations and enhance the 5G signal strength. © 2023 IEEE.

Chatbots are now vital tools for improving user engagement and offering immediate assistance on a variety of platforms. However, traditional chatbot systems often struggle with balancing computational efficiency and contextual accuracy. this paper introduces Vec2T5, a hybrid chatbot model that combines Word2Vec for intent recognition with T5 (Text-to-Text Transfer Transformer) for dynamic response generation. Combining the best features of both models, Vec2T5 provides real-time, accurate query interpretation and contextually relevant responses to users while making efficient use of available resources. the streamlined architecture enables the system to offer high performance with minimal memory requirements. With a user-friendly interface and the ability to continuously learn from user interactions, Vec2T5 delivers a seamless, intelligent, and responsive chatbot experience, making it an ideal solution for organizations aiming to enhance communication and support. © 2024 IEEE.
