In our research paper, we analyze the measurement of smartphone power of two widely used 4G and WiFi and their usage patterns. Due to their significant tail power consumption, 4G remains in high-power phases after a transfer. these observations allow us to create a simulation of the power used by network activities based on the technology. Using this technique, we want to reduce the amount of power used by popular mobile applications. To accomplish this, TailEnder is a protocol that arranges transfers to spend the least amount of power overall while yet meeting user-specified delay tolerance limits. the TailEnder technique is proven to be within the optimal range of 1.28, and no deterministic web-based solution can increase the competitive ratio. We examine the advantages of TailEnder for two applications for case studies: news feeds, email, and web searches both demonstrate a considerable decrease in power use based on actual user logs. In mobile devices, TailEnder was shown to be 60% more effective at downloading files and updates from the news feed than the default configuration, which returns search results for fewer than 50% of online inquiries. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

In the past few years, agricultural production studies have gained popularity, showing signs of rapid development. Using different kinds of computer technology, the newest thing to come along makes it easier for farmers to do their work. Many things affect agricultural output, but the efficiency of the seeds is the most important. Seed classification could give us more information about quality work, controlling seed quality, and finding impurities. Automated classification of seeds has been generally done based on factors like colour, texture, and size. Most of the time, specialists do this by looking at the samples, which is very much time-consuming. Adaptation of technologies for automated classification of seeds can be helpful in this regard. Fortunately, there are good number of research already carried out using Deep Neural Network (DNN) around the globe. In this paper, we provide a review of seed classification techniques with a strong focus on DNN. the goal of this research is to create a system for categorizing seeds based on visual and morphological traits. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

Alzheimer’s disease is a severe disorder of the brain that gradually increases and affects the function of the brain. It mainly affects middle-aged people or old aged person. Many researchers tried to train their model to classify or detect Alzheimer’s disease from MRI images automatically. In this paper, we also tried to classify four classes (Mild Demented, Moderate Demented, Non-Demented, Very Mild Demented) of Alzheimer’s diseases using ResNet (Residual neural network) on 6400 MRI images. In the paper, ResNet50v2 and ResNet101v2 used. By comparing their performance, ResNet101v2 gave a better result. the model’s precision is 74%, 27%, 75%, and 54%, recall percentage is 28%, 25%, 65%, and 77%, and f1 scores are 40%, 26%, 70%, and 63% for mild demented, moderate demented, non-demented, and very mild demented, respectively. By applying ResNet101v2, the percentage of accuracy is 98.35%. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

E-waste, which contains chemicals and metals, is a term used for abandoned electronic devices. the increasing use of electronic devices has made it difficult to handle the enormous volume of e-waste due to a lack of a strong organizational and governmental e-waste management infrastructure in developing countries. To reduce the harm to the environment and human health, scientific methods must be used for e-waste disposal. the Azizu Recycling and E-waste Company Ltd.‘s recycling and management models have been analyzed and compared, and a new model with an environmental pollution control system, sustainable reuse plan, detailed recycling process, suggested landfill away from residential areas, and an app system for e-waste collection has been proposed. © 2023, the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

We present new results validating the capability of a high-fidelity computational simulator to accurately predict the responses of individual patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome to changes in mechanical ventilator settings. 26 pairs of data-points comprising arterial blood gasses collected before and after changes in inspiratory pressure, PEEP, FiO(2), and I:E ratio from six mechanically ventilated patients were used for this study. Parallelized global optimization algorithms running on a high-performance computing cluster were used to match the simulator to each initial data point. Mean absolute percentage errors between the simulator predicted values of PaO2 and PaCO2 and the patient data after changing ventilator parameters were 10.3% and 12.6%, respectively. Decreasing the complexity of the simulator by reducing the number of independent alveolar compartments reduced the accuracy of its predictions.
