Polarization analysis is crucial for optimizing VR systems, reducing unwanted reflections, enhancing image clarity, and improving contrast under varied lighting conditions. Traditional methods in lens design focus on ideal polarization components, such as perfect linear polarizers, and lack the ability to analyze real-world imperfections. this study introduces a workflow integrated into Ansys Zemax OpticStudio, enabling the analysis of imperfect polarization conditions, such as 10% depolarization, to simulate the realistic impact of non-ideal polarizers on the overall optical system. By modeling these imperfections and generating corresponding Mueller matrix maps, the workflow provides a comprehensive view of polarization transformations across the system's field of view. the results demonstrate how this approach streamlines polarization analysis, supports precise control under realistic conditions, and facilitates the design of high-performance VR optical systems, advancing boththeoretical understanding and practical applications.

Vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications has gained a lot of interest in recent years and inevitably became part of the 5th-Generation New Radio (5G-NR) technologies, namely the sub-6GHz 5G and millimeter wave (mmWave) 5G. Also, the 3rd-Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) has defined reliability, end-to-end latency, data rate and range as the most important quality of service (QoS) parameters, which become crucial in highway propagation environments where the vehicles are moving at high speeds. these parameters are mostly improved by channel coding, which is a mechanism for limiting errors and improving the communication quality. therefore, in this paper, we investigate the impact of use of 4th-Generation Long-Term Evolution (4G-LTE) turbo codes, 5G-NR polar codes and low-density parity-check codes (LDPC) in 5G V2X highway propagation environments and analyze the QoS parameters for both sub-6GHz 5G and mmWave 5G technologies. Our analysis shows that turbo-based coding schemes can be a future candidate for small data frame 5G V2X highway communications, since they present superior performance in most of the aforementioned QoS parameters.

the new 6th generation (6G) standard promises increased data transmission rates and opens up entirely new application fields, such as joint-communication and sensing (JCAS). Modern high-performance multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems with high bandwidth and channel count allow evaluation and testing of waveforms and algorithms in real-world scenarios. However, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) MIMO systems are often costly and cannot be scaled to massive MIMO (mMIMO) systems without huge overhead. the ReLoDAQ system, based on combined radio frequency system-on-chip (RFSoC)-server architecture, offers a cost-effective and scalable solution for the development of a modern mMIMO system. However, this system is only scalable in terms of channel count and does not provide scalable synchronization and trigger mechanisms, which are essential for applications like JCAS or radar. In this paper, we present a scalable sample- and data-level synchronization and trigger mechanism to operate a mMIMO system based on the ReLoDAQ structure in a phase coherent manner. To achieve this, we extend the firmware of the RFSoCs with additional trigger and synchronization logic. Furthermore, we developed a scalable clock distribution network to distribute phase coherent clocks in the mMIMO system. through measurements on an experimental mMIMO system consisting of two RFSoCs and four servers, we demonstrate that our approach enables phase coherent operation across all channels in the mMIMO system based on the cost-efficient and scalable ReLoDAQ architecture.

this study investigates whether users will place an order for a specific item on an e-commerce platform (using *** as a case study) based on the comprehensive consideration of all available information. U sing machine learning methods, it analyzes a wide range of related factors to predict purchasing decisions. the dataset is preprocessed and feature-engineered to train predictive models. Key algorithms, including Decision Tree, Random Forest, and Logistic regression, are used for classification tasks, with hyperparameter tuning to ensure optimal performance. In the study, the Random Forest model demonstrates remarkable performance, achieving an accuracy score of 0.999817 and an Area Under the Curve (AUC) of 0.9998, reflecting a high probability of precise predictions. Notably, the features withthe most significant predictive contributions are identified as the product's coupon discount level and quantity discount level, collectively accounting for over 50% of the predictive power. this research contributes to the field of e-commerce analyses by offering a data-driven approach to understanding and predicting consumer behavior, with potential applications in personalized recommendations and marketing strategies.
