Potato is one of the tasteful vegetable in the list of our daily delicious food. At present, there are 42000 kind of potatoes available in the world. In Bangladesh, we cultivate 82 species every year. Potatoes are used for other purposes besides eating. So it is produced by thinking of other purposes besides eating. Different varieties of potatoes are used for different purposes. But People usually do not know which variety of potato is suitable for which work. We took this research step to solve this problem. there are currently some conventional common detection methods that are not very convenient. therefore, we have introduced Machine Vision Recognition (MVR) procedure to discover a suitable technique. As if, through this method people can easily identify the potato species. In this research paper, we want to show how to identify different varieties of potatoes in Bangladesh using machine vision approach. We have been collected total 1200 potato imagers from four fact for our experience. To reach our aim, several machine learning algorithms have been applied to the datasets, like Random Forest Classifier (RF), Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA), Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine (SVM), CART, NB, and KNN. Once we have been applied all the algorithms, different results have been shown by each algorithm. Logistic Regression shows the best result, which has an accuracy rate of 98%. In contrast, the lowest rate has been shown by the SVM. the accuracy rate of SVM is 33% which is not only a good fit for future research but also promising. © 2021 IEEE.

Affective social multimedia computing is an emergent research topic for both affective computing and multimedia research communities. Social multimedia is fundamentally changing how we communicate, interact, and collaborate with other people in our daily lives. Comparing with well-organized broadcast news and professionally made videos such as commercials, TV shows, and movies, social multimedia media computing imposes great challenges to research communities. Social multimedia contains much affective information. Effective extraction of affective information from social multimedia can greatly help social multimedia computing (e.g., processing, index, retrieval, and understanding). Although much progress have been made in traditional multimedia research on multimedia content analysis, indexing, and retrieval based on subjective concepts such as emotion, aesthetics, and preference, affective social multimedia computing is a new research area. the affective social multimedia computing aims to proceed affective information from social multi-media. For massive and heterogeneous social media data, the research requires multidisciplinary understanding of content and perceptual cues from social multimedia. this workshop served as a successful step towards this goal and attracted contributions from different research disciplines on the analysis of affective signals in interaction (multimodal analyses enabling artificial agents in Human-Machine Interaction, social Interaction with artificial agents) and social multimedia (e.g., twitter, wechat, weibo, youtube, facebook, etc). this paper provides a summary of the activities of the workshop and the accepted papers and abstracts. © 2021 Owner/Author.

Nowadays the RFID technology and Internet of things are becoming empowering and enabling tools in various fields, including smart and precision agriculture. the aim of this research is to propose an innovative system for the detection of soil moisture based on the use of standard UHF RFID tags and on the measurement of the received signal strength detected by a reader that can be hosted on board drones or farm vehicles. the reader detects the RSSI received from tags placed below the ground level and according to the measured value is able to discriminate if the ground is dry or wet. Microwave propagation is, in fact, strongly influenced by the presence of water in the soil and by exploiting the instantaneous and average RSSI values it is possible to discriminate the conditions of dry and wet soil and, thus, optimize irrigation in a wide area. the results obtained by using a first prototype show that the approach is suitable for any type of soil: sandy, clayey or loamy;further studies must be conducted in order to identify different levels of soil moisture and to determine the moisture levels at different depths.

Asynchronous CDMA uses sets of spreading sequences (eg, Gold codes, Kasami sequences, etc.) that are statistically uncorrelated for arbitrarily random starting points. We study various sets of spreading sequences and evaluate their correlation properties. the Fundamental Welch Bound sets the limit below which the cross-correlation square between any cyclically shifted sequence copies cannot fall. We estimate the correlation for different spreading sequences in relation to this theoretical limit. For this we use a polynomial approximation (by Laurent and Puiseux series). We also consider large sets of spreading sequences, for which the correlation modulus increases by about 2 times (compared to Gold codes). However, in comparison with Gold codes, the cardinality of large sets is increased by more than N times (where N is the length of the sequence). this is an advantage that will significantly increase the capacity of asynchronous CDMA and reduce the cost of communication services. In addition, new sets of spreading signals will be useful for the implementation of the so-called soft capacity, i.e. when, if necessary, the base station can increase the subscriber capacity with a slight decrease in the quality of service.
