Since 6G communication systems operate at millimeter-wave bands, the signals are susceptible to blockages. Towards addressing this issue, Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface (RIS) is envisioned as one of the key technologies in 6G communications. Estimation of RIS-assisted channels is very challenging since they are highly dependent on system architecture, channel configuration, and the algorithms to compute channel state information. It demands perfect channel state information (CSI) of every individual channel between gNodeB and the UE through RIS, and it is very challenging to obtain perfect CSI in high-speed networks due to their high-mobility scenarios. Also, the existing channel estimation methods perform uniform time-slots assignment during all the stages and cause more errors in the estimation. In this paper, we propose a two-level uplink transmission method to characterize the quasi-static Rician fading channel at gNodeB by exploiting the channel correlation properties in a multi-user ultramMIMO RIS-assisted narrow band radio system using minimum pilot sequence. In the proposed method, early stages of channel estimation are assigned with higher number of timeslots so that the error propagation to the next stage will be reduced. Also, the channel correlation properties utilized in the proposed method minimizes the number of unknowns to be computed. this led to the minimal channel estimation time and complexity. the interference cancellation is performed for the received signal at gNodeB during stage 1 and 2 so that error propagation is minimized. the normalized mean square error (NMSE) is evaluated and compared with the traditional method by exploring the relation between gNodeB antennas and RIS elements to prove the efficiency of the proposed method.

Web3.0 apps, with their emphasis on decentralization, real-time processing, and low latency, hold the key to MEC's bright future. this calls for an all-encompassing, future-oriented strategy in MEC architecture and design. the suggested technique is a multi-stage strategy for molding the future of MEC via cutting-edge architectures and designs for Web3.0 over 5G/6G networks. In the first stage, you'll examine the needs and goals of Web3.0 in detail. Real-time, lowlatency interactions are essential, as is familiarity with the dynamics of distributed apps and blockchain technology. In the second stage, we examine the current MEC setup, from edge server dispersion to data center density to network topology. the technique takes use of the low latency, high throughput, and huge device connection offered by 5G and impending 6G networks to guarantee preparedness for the future. the suggested technique is based on novel building layouts as its foundation. Latency, throughput, resource usage, scalability, and security compliance are only few of the metrics that may be evaluated to guarantee that the design is effective. the difficulties of actual deployment are also discussed; they include issues like where to put edge servers and how to scale resources according to demand. To ensure that the process remains in step with developing technologies and user preferences, it is recommended that improvements be made in a series of iterations.

Device identification is of great importance in system management and network security. Especially, it is the priority in industrial internet of things (IIoT) scenario. Since there are massive devices producing various kinds of information in manufacturing process, the robustness, reliability, security and real-time control of the whole system is based on the identification of the massive IIoT devices. Previous IIoT device identification solutions are mostly based on a centralized architecture, which brings a lot of problems in scalability and security. In addition, most traditional identification systems can only identify inherent types of devices which is not suitable for the adaptive device management in IIoT. In order to solve these problems, this paper proposes a Intelligent Identification Scheme(IIS) of Massive IoT Devices, a completely distributed intelligent identification scheme of massive IIoT devices. the scheme changes the traditional centralized architecture and realizes more efficient clustering identification of massive IIoT devices. Moreover, IIS can identify more and more types of devices intelligently with the continuous learning ability since the identification model is constantly updated according to the ledger which is maintained by all gateways collaboratively. We also conduct experiments to evaluate the performance of IIS based on the data obtained from real IIoT devices, which proves that IIS is efficient in device identification and intelligent for the adaptive device management in IIoT.

the prediction of the age audience of the text plays a crucial role in selecting information suitable for children, book publishing, and editing. In this paper, we evaluate the impact of document topic distribution vectors on the quality of age-based text classification. We formulated this problem as a binary classification task and developed a topic-informed machine learning classifier for resolving this problem. We compared three common topic modeling techniques to obtain document topic distribution vectors, including Latent Dirichlet Allocation, Gibbs Sampled Dirichlet Multinomial Mixture, and BERTopic. In most cases, our topic-informed classifier achieved improvements on a dataset of Russian fiction abstracta over baseline approaches. © 2021 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

In this paper a novel adaptive fractional-order model-free integral sliding-mode control (AFO-MFISMC) scheme for permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (PMLSM) drive is proposed. First, A fractional-order ultra-local model (FOULM) is developed to formulate PMLSM dynamics for simplifying the controller design. Next, a FO-ISMC is designed to stabilize the PMLSM. To enhance the transient behavior, the total disturbance is estimated using high-accuracy fractional-order extended state observer (FO-ESO). For improving the robustness of the proposed control scheme, a new adaptive updating algorithm based on reinforcement learning (RL) approach is developed for online estimation of the FO-ESO parameters and control input gains. An actor/critic learning structure is utilized for the adaptive autotuning mechanism. Besides, a single radial-basis function network (RBFN) is established to approximate the policy function of actor and the value function of critic concurrently for increasing the learning efficiency and decreasing the required storage space. the temporal difference (TD) error performance index and gradient-descent algorithm are utilized for updating rules of RBFN kernel function and network weights in an adaptive manner. the stability and convergence conditions of the proposed AFO-MFISMC is proved by Lyapunov function. the validation results ensure the effectiveness and superiorities of the AFO-MFISMC compared with sliding-mode control.

In modern distribution grids, accessing the growing amount of data from various sources, running complex algorithms on-demand, and controlling sparse actuators represent important requirements. these can be achieved with on-demand scalability to support fluctuating workloads. A possibility to provide on-demand scalability is cloud computing. this paper presents a cloud-based platform that analyzes power distribution grids data and deploys a service restoration application for the re-energization of loads after electrical faults. the implementation of this study is powered by FIWARE, which is based on open-source and customizable building blocks of future internet applications and services. the feasibility of the service restoration application is evaluated through analysis of its network latency and computation time in different test cases.

Nowadays, science and technology have penetrated the medical field and played an indispensable role. the main purpose of this paper is to research Surface Electromyography (SEMG) signal processing systems. During the research, the article firstly presented a flowchart of SEMG signal processing. And then, the emphasis was placed on the studying of signal amplification operation in the process. In order to demonstrate how this process achieves amplification, the article designs a simple amplification circuit in the second part. At the same time, its working principle was analyzed from the perspective of the basic component transistor. Finally, the article concludes that the SEMG signal processing system is a progressive process. Every step of it is very important. On the other hand, amplification operation is essential, and the amplifier circuit constructed by the NPN Bipolar Junction Transistor can achieve signal amplification. Different amplification factors can be achieved by adjusting the internal variable resistance of the circuit. this paper not only introduces readers to the processing process of SEMG signals, but also tells them how to design an amplifier for SEMG signal amplification. the author wants to tell readers that combining the theoretical knowledge with practical application is very meaningful.
