In this paper a non-contact thermometer is designed. It calculates the temperature from the infrared radiation produced by the subject being measured. It can be used for industrial purpose as well as for medical purposes. In medical purpose it is used to measure the core body temperature from forehead temperature depends on ambient air temperature that affects in the heat transfer coefficient. Heat transfers by conduction from the core body temperature and by convection from forehead to ambient air. the overall heat transfer coefficient is determined empirically depends on studies that had been made by measuring forehead temperature and core body temperature in various ambient air temperatures for hundreds of persons. the accuracy of the proposed thermometer is ±0.3°C compared with Rossmax HA-500 device which depends on the accuracy of the studies and its results in various conditions. © 2021, the Editor(s) (if applicable) and the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

the HybriLIT heterogeneous computing platform is part of the Multifunctional Information and computing Complex of the Meshcheryakov Laboratory of Information Technologies of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research. An analysis of data on the use of the HybriLIT platform is carried out: special attention is paid to the study of information about the resources used when starting tasks by various users and the time of their implementation. the relevance of this study lies in the ability to predict the further workload of the platform based on the analysis obtained, which will enable the more rational and efficient use of not only the available computing resources, but also the resources of data storage systems. this paper presents models for predicting the usage of the HybriLIT resources based on data through analysis. Several machine learning methods are compared to choose a model that gives the best prediction accuracy. © 2021 CEUR-WS. All rights reserved.

Recent studies on modern wireless communication systems are focusing on Massive Multiple- Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technology for its high potential. MIMO systems require high resolution Analog-to- Digital Converters (ADCs) in the Base Stations (BS) to reduce quantization noise. However, using high resolution ADCs causes higher power consumption at the BS and the hardware costs increase. Reducing the resolution of the ADCs at the BS causes severe non-linearity errors due to additional quantization noise. In other words, MIMO systems cannot achieve high performance without highly linear and low resolution ADCs. In this paper, a 3-bit highly linear Time- based ADC (T-ADC) is presented. the proposed circuit exhibits high linearity, simple design and low power which make it the best solution for the problems that limit the performance of the MIMO systems. the proposed ADC exhibits a linearity error of 0.56 % with a dynamic range equals to 800 mV and at small power consumption of 2.2 mW. the supply voltage used equals to 1.2 V using industrial 65 nm TSMC CMOS technology. the clock frequency equals to 4 GHz at a maximum input frequency of 2 GHz. © 2021 IEEE.

In this paper, we use the method of stochastization of one-step processes to demonstrate the advantages of a stochastic representation of the system. To achieve this goal, the high-level scientific computing language Julia was chosen. Considering the heterogeneous network architecture of internet of things in power systems, the paper adopts the mobile edge computing architecture based on three layers of computing, and it designed the energy consumption model and delay model for each layer computing. By this way, it realized the task of the smart mobile device from local offloading to small base station edge server and macro station edge cloud server to compute. In order to minimize the energy consumption of power wireless network equipment, this paper adopts the variable substitution decomposition method, and deduces theoretically with the aid of objective function monotonicity, and finally obtains the optimized parameter solution. After simulating the energy consumption generated by different calculation and unloading methods, the proposed optimization scheme can significantly reduce the total energy consumption of the equipment under the condition of small delay.

Inflation plays an essential role in the economy and can create an uncertain situation affecting economic growth; inflation has always been a critical issue for policymakers. Researchers have paid close attention to the relationship between trade openness and inflation; however, this relationship is not well-established in the literature. the current study examined Uzbekistan's time series data to determine the impact of trade openness on inflation. According to the study's findings, overall trade openness increases inflation. Still, the picture becomes more apparent when trade openness is broken down into exports and imports: export openness is responsible for limiting inflation, whereas import openness causes inflation. Furthermore, economic growth contributes to increasing inflation in Uzbekistan. It is suggested that policymakers increase domestic production for Uzbekistan to export more and reduce inflation.

Currently the digitisation entails a wide portfolio of technical solutions that are perceived to be useful for care and support of older people in the future. In approaches like Ambient Assisted Living (AAL), different (medical) technologies are merged to customizable concepts that offer support for an independent and safe living at home. Based on the principles of ubiquitous computing health relevant services, e.g., measurement of vital parameters, can be provided and take serious actions if necessary. Beside the challenge to integrate the technological issues, the attitude of potential users is still not fully understood and far from predictable. Especially when it comes to formation of a general attitude towards AAL technologies there is relatively little knowledge about the trade-offs in the decision-making process. that is why this paper focuses on conditionals and trade-offs in the acceptance process of AAL technologies. the chosen mixed-method approach consisting of a qualitative study (n=10) and a questionnaire survey (n=177) revealed a set of influencing factors that are related to privacy and situational and ethical conflicts.
