the Galileo is the high performance global satellite navigation system developed by the European Union operating on ranging principle. Galileo system transmits wide bandwidth signal (90 MHz) on E5 frequency (1191.795 MHz) modulated by AltBOC(15, 10) (Alternative Binary Offset Carrier) modulation for high precision professional applications. the paper deals withthe optimal processing of the Galileo E5 signal which was developed and implemented to the FPGA based software receiver at the Czech Technical University in Prague. During the implementation of the signal processing the principle problems with signal acquisition and tracking was solved. the signal acquisition algorithm based on Modified Double Block Zero Padding algorithms processes one signal component (E5a or E5b) to save computation cost. the typical signal acquisition time was shortened on 4 seconds. the problem withthe AltBOC modulation nonlinearity was demanded to modify classical correlator structure. Applied fifth branches early late correlator calculates cross correlation function for all four possible hypotheses of the navigation messages bits. the last branch is designed for one signal side band component tracking and supports receiver synchronization. the performed receiver tests on live GIOVE A and B signals confirmed theoretical finding that receiver is capable to track signal with centimetre precision.

the transition to rnulticore architectures has dramatically underscored the necessity for parallelism in software. In particular, while new gaining consoles are by and large multicore, most existing video game engines are essentially sequential and thus cannot easily take advantage of this hardware. In this paper we describe techniques derived from our experience parallelizing an open-source video game Cube 2. We analyze the structure and unique requirements of this complex application domain;drawing conclusions about parallelization tools and techniques applicable therein. Our experience and analysis convinced its that;while existing tools and techniques can be used to solve parts of this problem, none of them constitutes a comprehensive solution. As a result we were inspired to design a new parallel programming environment (PPE) targeted specifically at video game engines and other complex soft real-time systems. the initial implementation of this PPE, Cascade;and its performance analysis are also presented.

LEACH is a hierarchy routing protocol for WSN (wireless sensor networks), which is superior to direct communication protocol, minimum-transmission-energy protocol and static clustering protocol. However, LEACH itself has some defects. In this paper LEACH-TM introduces the concept of trust, designs the cluster-head adjusting procedure and establishes multi-path with cluster-heads acting as routers. the simulation illustrates that LEACH-TM makes much progress in the reliability of data transmission, the distribution of cluster heads and the lifetime of networks.

Future cellular radio systems aim at maximizing the spectral efficiency. OFDMA radio resources are the scarce good withtheir dimensions bandwidth, time and space. Due to frequency selective fading the effective path-loss varies in all dimensions. Adaptive algorithms are available which allocate the best modulation and coding scheme depending on the expected SINR, as well as dynamic subchannel assignment which aims to choose the best subchannel for each user. this already boosts the performance of OFDMA system. However, these algorithms alone do not touch the transmitted power per subchannel. On the cell edge this is fine, but large areas are covered with a transmitted power exceeding the usually required SINR. In this paper we introduce a power control which saves power on the users within the cell. this leads to a reduced interference into neighbor cells, especially for future reuse one systems. Also some of the saved power can be used to boost transmissions at the cell edge. In this paper we introduce an adaptive power control concept and arrange it into a closed loop control system which contains blocks for all adaptive algorithms for modulation, power, subchannel usage and channel quality indication.

Electromagnetic valves, like other mechatronic automotive systems, present significant nonlinearities thus requiring specific control strategies. If the nonlinearities are conveniently approximated, then the system dynamics can be converted into a hybrid model, making possible the implementation of fast and adequate control algorithms. Starting from a generic model of a magnetically actuated mass spring damper, with linear continuous dynamics but strongly nonlinear input constraints, this paper introduces a Hybrid Control System approximating model, based on a partitioning of the evolution interval of the mass position variable. A piecewise-constant control law is deduced from the state space partition, and the controlled system behaviour is comparatively discussed for the hybrid and for the initial nonlinear constrained control, respectively, within MATLAB simulation experiments. the approximating constant values are computed, for simplicity, as mean values of the nonlinear control. Also, the logical controlled model is deduced. Simulation experiments reveal that the hybrid approximated model behaves similarly to the original nonlinear model with continuous control.
