the fusion of terrestrial radio and satellite communications will result in a world completely connected with sixth-generation (6G) networks. But there is a limitation of power and space available on satellites due to low computing power, limited storage space, and insufficient security occur. It is critical to utilize information storage and access protection in satellite networks efficiently to prevent data tampering and alteration. Satellite communications play an increasing role in global communication networks, creating security problems. Based on the Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) protocol, this proposal suggests a security and authentication method for satellite communication networks. A wireless and heterogeneous network architecture utilizes both open-source and commercial hardware to enable communication. the three stages of registration, authentication, and cancellation facilitate communication. As data is transmitted to satellites from ground stations, all measurements of significance are then logged on a decentralized blockchain. All certifications generated by rogue nodes are subsequently cleared from the blockchain by ground stations. It has been suggested that the technology be used with upcoming 6G networks, as well as the Internet of things, self-driving cars, and other rapidly expanding applications.

A MPPT is required for effective operation and power extraction from a PV module. Amongst several existing well established MPPT algorithms, the open voltage (OV) based algorithm is chosen to design the proposed MPPT circuit developed in this paper. the designed circuit is simple and easy to implement yet moderately efficient in MPP tracking. Due to its simplicity it can be very easily integrated with a PV module which would serve the purpose of battery charge controller and no separate charge controller would be needed. the efficiency of the MPPT circuit is more than 95% and the system, with the buck converter, is 86% efficient.

Cybersecurity is becoming more relevant throughout time. As information and technologies expand, so does the potential for it to be exploited. Computer and media have become more widespread in every modern country in the world. Unfortunately, certain community uses this opportunity to exploit the vulnerabilities that these computers left behind. Black hat, which is more identified as hackers and exploiters, uses the networks and servers that are commonly used to gain unauthorized information and data on the innocent victim. this work analyzes several honeypots and makes comparisons between them. Analysis has been done on the results to figure the disadvantages between each honeypot and try to improve one of the honeypots based on programming. the honeypot is deployed to simulate its effectiveness in combating cybercrime by detecting and collecting the information captured on the web browsers.

Efficient resource allocation and effective risk management are paramount for governments and police forces. this article presents a comprehensive model designed to predict crime risk levels, with the goal of optimising resource allocation and reducing the associated time, cost, and effort in risk management. By considering crucial factors such as location, time, and crime type, our model endeavours to provide accurate and actionable insights. To ensure the reliability of our predictions, we implemented various data wrangling techniques, including feature selection, data validation, and the creation of new measures. these steps were instrumental in preparing the data for analysis and generating reasonably accurate results. Additionally, we explored a range of machine learning algorithms, namely Logistic Regression, Gaussian Naive Bayes, Decision Tree, XG Boost, and Random Forest, to predict crime risk levels. the models were meticulously validated using cross-validation techniques and evaluated based on diverse performance metrics. In a bid to further advance our predictive capabilities, we leveraged deep learning techniques with TensorFlow, enabling a performance comparison against traditional machine learning models. Notably, the Random Forest algorithm has emerged as the most effective, yielding an impressive accuracy of 90%. the culmination of our efforts is a successful software application, complete with a user interface integrated with our cutting-edge prediction model. © the Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

the Internet of things (IoT) combines sensors and other small devices interconnected locally and via the Internet. Specifically, IoT devices collect data from the environment through sensors, analyze it, and respond to the actual through controllers. the integration of these devices can be seen in various areas like home appliances, healthcare, control systems, etc. On the other hand, massive digital data can drive system performance, and data security is also a serious concern. therefore, anomaly detection (AD) is necessary to prevent network security infractions and system attacks. Several Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based anomaly detection methods have been designed with higher detection performance;however, they are still "complex" models that are hard to interpret and explain. this chapter proposes a hybrid learning model for AD in IoT with Explainable Artificial Intelligence to enhance the perspective and explainable results. the proposal’s application uses a well-known traffic traces dataset (https://***/datasets/francoisxa/ds2ostraffictraces). Internet finance is a new financial market formed by the interaction of traditional financial markets and emerging financial markets. In this article, we will focus on how to use AI technology to analyze security risks. Artificial intelligence (AI) is an intelligent technology that can make decisions based on certain knowledge or rules without human intervention. AI can help us reduce human error. the application of artificial intelligence technology in internet finance is becoming increasingly widespread, including risk control, customer service, intelligent investment advisory, and other fields. Among them, artificial intelligence algorithms can help financial institutions determine whether there are risks based on users’ personal information and behavior patterns, improve risk management level, and improve service quality. At the same time, artificial intelligence technology can also provide personalized investment advice to customers, helping them achieve better returns. However, the application of artificial intelligence technology in internet finance also brings some security risks. For example, hackers can exploit algorithmic vulnerabilities, attack artificial intelligence systems, and steal users’ personal information and funds.
