the authors describe non-linear mathematical models that can be used to study the dynamics of international trade. Mathematical models of international trade (IT), between three or more countries, can show very complicated dynamics in time (with the possible occurrence of chaotic behavior). the simulation of these models is critical in understanding the behavior of the relevant financial and economical variables for the problem of IT. Also, performing the simulations for different parameter values of the models will enable the forecasting of future IT. the problem of simulation and forecasting of IT has been solved by using soft computing (SC) techniques. An intelligent system for automated simulation of IT, combining fuzzy logic techniques and genetic algorithms, has been developed for the simulation and behavior identification of the mathematical models. the intelligent system uses a specific genetic algorithm to generate the best set of parameter values for performing numerical simulation of the dynamical system (of IT) and a fuzzy rule base for behavior identification. the importance of simulation and forecasting of IT can be measured if one considers that one of the goals for a specific country is to find the optimum benefit from its international trade with other countries.

this study introduces a BERT-based approach with fuzzy logic for sarcasm detection in natural language processing (NLP). the research aims to capture the subtle indicators of sarcasm by utilizing advanced models such as Fuzzy logic, Transformer, BERT, and RNN. the incorporation of fuzzy logic enhances the precision of detection by interpreting the subtleties present in sarcastic expressions and accommodating ambiguity and context dependencies. the methodology involves collecting a diverse dataset of comments and applying iterative learning using Transformer, BERT, and RNN models. the integration of fuzzy logic post-iteration further refines the model's ability to identify sarcastic nuances in a context-aware manner. this research demonstrates the efficiency of iterative learning and fuzzy logic techniques for sarcasm detection and presents an innovative approach that opens doors for more reliable natural language understanding systems.

Robust and accurate registration is a fundamental capability for numerous computer vision and robotics applications. this paper proposes a novel colored 2D to 3D registration method that exploits keypoints from Scale-Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) and Intrinsic Shape Signatures (ISS). the proposed method works on multiple models without utilizing a neural network or requiring a training dataset. After detecting keypoints and their colors in the L*a*b* color space, a modified Iterative Closest Point (ICP) algorithm is utilized to find the correspondences between the image and 3D model points and the transformation matrix. Additionally, there is an experimental evaluation using publicly available colored models for 3D-3D and 2D-3D registration to show that color information can increase accuracy in both tasks. On 3D-3D registration, the use of color information decreased Relative Root Mean Square Error (RRMSE) by 85.69% when the k-d tree was used and 92.63% when color was utilized in combination with the geometric information. For the 2D-3D registration, the mean distance decreased by 25.52% for the k-d tree and 28.76% for the weighted colored ICP, proving that color can efficiently enhance accuracy in this task.

the inter-cell interference coordination techniques which include frequency reuse and Dynamic Channel Allocation (DCA) play a vital role in improving the spectrum efficiency. the techniques of frequency reuse are very sophisticated. Depending on the traffic demand, channels allocated to each cell is varied in DCA. In OFDM based cellular systems, the channel information and interference signals can be measured easily whose knowledge is essential for DCA. Hence, in OFDM systems, DCA can improve the spectral efficiency to a great extent. the next generation cellular systems would incorporate small cell (Micro, Pico and Femto) base stations for extensive frequency reuse and spectrum utility. they would also include millimeter wave (mmWave) for communication i.e. 5G cellular networks. DCA techniques in such a HetNet would improve the efficiency to a great extent. With the development of Software Defined Mobile Networking (SDMN), the protocol-specific features of mobile networks for various radio access technologies can be carried out with software improving the functionality of network. thus, the implementation of DCA techniques becomes less complex. In this paper, DCA in small cells with respect to three cases namely spatial, temporal and spatio-temporal allocation is proposed. the problem formulated for DCA is solved using integer linear programming (ILP) technique and the solution is an effective prediction based model to optimize the channel allocation problem. Simulation results show the performance for various number of available resources and number of cells for allocation.

As a non-invasive angle closure glaucoma diagnosis procedure, Van Herick's slit-lamp Limbal Anterior Chamber Depth Estimation (LACDE) technique is preferably the current standard screening method preliminarily performed at hospitals and eye clinics. However, accuracy of depth estimation is very much dependent on the slit projection distance from the limbus (LD). this study investigated the relation and designed a parametric model to reduce the inconsistencies between results and improving the Van Herick's method accuracy. Additionally, two different types of classifiers such as Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Decision Tree with addition of LD as a predictor were trained and tested for comparison with parametric model. In the end acquired results clearly showed the effectiveness of LD consideration in LACDE, which lead to improvement in the experimental results.

In the modern manufacturing industry, the surface defect detection of steel is very important to ensure product quality. Based on YOLOv7-tiny algorithm, this study improves the real-time and accuracy of steel surface defect detection through a series of innovative improvements. First, we replace the original ordinary convolution structure by introducing Omni-dimensional dynamic convolution module, enhance feature extraction to boost model detection accuracy. Change the activation function from Leaky ReLU to SiLU, and enhance the gradient flow of the model, improve detection performance. In addition, by introducing SimAM module and improving the performance of detection headers through TSCODE, the model's ability to recognize small size targets is enhanced. After that, using MPDIoU instead of CIoU as the loss function, which simplified the calculation process and the efficiency and accuracy of defect detection are improved. Finally, we verified the model through the NEU-DET data set. the experimental results show that, with these improvements, the mAP@0.5 of the model is significantly improved, reaching 0.768 in the end, and the reasoning speed is also up to 34.5 fps, which proves the speed and accuracy of the improved model in real-time detection of steel surface defects.

this paper provides a novel technique for the analysis of randomized algorithms for optimization problems on metric spaces, by relating the randomized performance ratio for any, metric space to the randomized performance ratio for a set of "simple" metric spaces. We define a notion of a set of metric spaces that probabilistically-approximates another metric space. We prove that any metric space can be probabilistically-approximated by hierarchically well-separated trees (HST) with a polylogarithmic distortion. these metric spaces are "simple" as being: (1) tree metrics; (2) natural for applying a divide-and-conquer algorithmic approach. the technique presented is of particular interest in the context of on-line computation. A large number of on-line algorithmic problems, including metrical task systems, server problems, distributed paging, and dynamic storage rearrangement are defined in terms of some metric space. Typically for these problems, there are linear lower bounds on the competitive ratio of deterministic algorithms. Although randomization against an oblivious adversary has the potential of overcoming these high ratios, very little progress has been made in the analysis. We demonstrate the use of our technique by obtaining substantially improved results for two different on-line problems.

Around View Monitoring (AVM) system uses multiple cameras as the sensor that is mounted on several positions on the vehicle to produce a display of top view image from the surrounding environment of the vehicle that is not readily visible to the driver because of the limited field of view of the driver. the risk of parking accident could be reduced by developing the system that can monitor the surrounding area, detecting parking slot lane and obstacle. A few seconds of early warning would significantly decrease the chances of accidents. this system can assist in the parking area and navigating through a narrow space area. Current AVM available usually needed another sensor to ensure a good performance output. But this is cost consuming besides increasing the computational time and resource. Here, proposed an AVM system that will integrate with the motion estimation algorithm to produce a good result. the AVM image sequence is from a camera input mounted on the vehicle. the algorithm to be tested is Gunnar Farneback. Movement in sequential frames is detected and converted to the real-world position change. this paper will compare the algorithms in various condition. the accuracy of the result was measured.

A challenge of current innovation in healthcare processes is to improve the time to treatment. this paper addresses the benefits of telematic services and mobile & wireless devices such as vital sign sensors and head mounted cameras for healthcare processes. It explores the telematic requirements for a distributed healthcare environment of body area networks of the mobile devices which are connected by wireless (public) networks (e.g. GPRS and UMTS) to healthcare centres. Our main contribution is the development of enterprise models, which are expressed in terms of the unified modelling language, for the purpose of identification and justification of the telematic system requirements. the developed enterprise models separate organizational modelling concerns such as the separation of medical roles from the agents acting in these roles. this separation enables roles to be dispatched virtually to a point of care without transporting along with all the agents, but it requires support of a telematic system to bridge the distance gap. We validate the proposed models against a trauma team scenario and consequently obtain the telematic system requirements which enable improved time to treatment for emergency services.
