In communication technologies, it can be solved in systems that are extremely simple, detailed, among the tools for use in the electronic environment, internet-connected, development and integrated systems. With the rapid development of technology, smart led lamps, smart office, smart conference room lighting, road lighting fixtures and therefore smart lighting systems have been the reason why smart lighting systems can enter daily life rapidly. Sensors which are the components of smart lighting systems, feedback from users, cloud services, smart algorithms become more widespread with artificial intelligence in an easier, faster, and more economical way, causing a change in traditional lighting control and improvements in energy saving, functionality, and user centered lighting. In this study, the mediapipe framework is intended to be used for office conference room. MediaPipe is indeed an open-source framework that enables the processing of computer vision data, including video and audio. the lighting system was built using the artificial intelligence supported mediapipe hand recognition solution, and artificial intelligence and image processing algorithms were used. Each hand gesture corresponds to a different command to control the light. there are 3 main menus are determined for the hand and defined to the system. Main menus can be reached with every hand movement. After entering the main menu, intermediate menus are processed. Lighting application can be realized through control commands obtained by hand movements, digital/analog information conversion and Dali control system. It is concluded that the ease of control brought by this method is more advantageous in terms of its purpose than other methods because it is contactless and does not require any hardware device in the hands of the presenter.

4G networks introduced the support of IOT devices in 3GPP Release 13 with two new standards: Enhanced Machine-Type Communication (eMTC) and Narrowband-IoT (NB-IoT). eMTC can help CAT-M1 devices to get high speeds up to 1 Mbps utilizing low bandwidth (1.4MHz) and supports essential capabilities such as VoLTE whereas NB-IoT on the other hand is best suited for low-throughput, delay-tolerant applications, such as meters and sensors. Support for VoLTE has become crucial in eMTC devices due to proliferation of CAT M1 devices like smartwatches, wearables. Currently due to changes in 4G network due to eMTC, VoLTE scheduling is not optimal leading to lower user satisfaction. In this paper, we propose a novel algorithm in 4G networks to optimize and prioritize the scheduling of VoLTE call during non-GBR retransmission from eMTC devices. Our novel idea has significantly cut the delay in scheduling of VoLTE for eMTC by on an average 30% resulting to better VoLTE support for CAT-M1 devices. © 2021 IEEE.

the increasing integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into critical sectors such as autonomous vehicles, healthcare, finance, and cybersecurity makes these systems prime targets for cyberattacks. AI systems, especially those based on machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL), exhibit vulnerabilities due to their reliance on large datasets, complex algorithms, and "black-box"decision-making processes. this paper explores the weaknesses of AI systems, focusing on adversarial attacks, data poisoning, model inversion, and evasion attacks. Specific examples include how adversarial inputs can mislead self-driving cars or cause diagnostic errors in healthcare systems. Defense mechanisms like adversarial training, defensive distillation, feature squeezing, model assembling, and gradient masking are discussed as methods to protect AI systems. However, these defenses face limitations, such as high computational costs and susceptibility to advanced attacks. the study concludes by emphasizing the need for ongoing research into strengthening AI defenses, securing private data, and balancing performance with robust cybersecurity. Ensuring AI security is crucial as cyber threats continue to evolve in complexity and scope. © 2023 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

Predicting the community structure in the time series, or snapshots, of a real-world graph in the future, is a pertinent challenge. this is motivated by the study of migration flow networks. the dataset is characterized by edge sparsity due to the inconsistent availability of data. thus, we generalize the problem to predicting community structure in a dynamic sparse directed network (DSDN). We introduce a novel application of co-association which is a pairwise relationship between the nodes belonging to the same community. We thus propose a three-step algorithm, CAP-DSDN, for co-association prediction (CAP) in such a network. Given the absence of benchmark data or ground truth, we use an ensemble of community detection (CD) algorithms and evaluation metrics widely used for directed networks. We then define a metric based on entropy rate as a threshold to filter the network for determining a significant and data-complete subnetwork. We propose the use of autoregressive models for predicting the co-association relationship given in its matrix format. We demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method in a case study of international refugee migration during 2000–18. Our results show that our method works effectively for migration flow networks for short-term prediction and when the data is complete across all snapshots. the scholarly article examines prevalent difficulties encountered by students in maneuvering through campus by proposing a solution grounded in network analysis. the investigation underscores the creation of a Route Planner mobile application, which utilizes Dijkstra's algorithm to facilitate optimized navigation and shortest-path routing. this methodology guarantees that students are provided with the most effective routes, thereby minimizing travel duration and reducing detours, thus enhancing their overall campus experience. the application was designed employing an Agile software development life cycle, which permitted adaptability and iterative enhancements informed by user feedback. Usability assessments were pivotal in refining the application's functionality and user interface, ensuring it addressed the practical requirements of students. the findings indicated that 70% of participants agreed that the Route Planner would be user-friendly. In addition to its technical execution, the Route Planner advocates for sustainable transportation practices on campus by promoting efficient route planning and minimizing resource wastage. the application also encourages inclusivity by facilitating more straightforward navigation for all students, particularly newcomers, fostering their confidence in traversing campus. this advancement exemplifies the potential of amalgamating network analysis with mobile navigation to devise practical, socially advantageous tools within academic settings. Ultimately, the research underscores the application's significance in enhancing campus exploration, augmenting usability, and contributing to the disciplines of computer networks and mobile navigation systems.

Image smoothing filters are applied to reduce the amount of noise in digital images by applying the convolution process on image pixels. However, the implementation of these filters in real time systems involves the complexity of implementation as floating numbers calculation and division. In this paper, the implementation of two smoothing filters, Mean and Gaussian is achieved using FPGA Spartan 3E device. the implementation was performed in a simplified and way that does not require division, and resultant images were displayed on LCD using configured VGA ports. Two filters were effectively implemented by utilizing 880 slices (5%) of Spartan 3E-XC3S160E device with maximum frequency of 56.6Mhz. © 2021 IEEE.

To achieve the target of implementing an electronic learning system or known as e-learning, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of the system on a regular basis. In response to this challenge, schools using the system have substantially increased the use of the system, through initiatives to disseminate information to teachers and students to use e-learning and support the teaching and learning process in every subject in the school. Careful evaluation of the acceptability and suitability of the technology is essential to ensure the implementation of the system and the continuity of the effective learning process. this study aims to evaluate the performance of e-learning implemented in the Kepulauan Seribu region of DKI Jakarta. the method used is factor analysis that can be used to find factors in successful implementation and regression analysis to build an e-learning evaluation model. the results obtained indicate that there are several main factors, namely system availability, instructor style, learning culture, helpdesk response and the latest technology can then be presented in the form of a mathematical model that can explain the performance of the system that is currently running with a value of 5.765 (from a scale of 0.000 -10,000), and can be used to build a system development plan in the future with a value of 8,328 (on a scale of 0.000 -10,000) © 2022 IEEE.
