Cloud computing contains large-scale tasks and resources. Currently, the local search is a considerable choice in ensuring both computational complexity and optimization. based on our previous research on multi-route search algorithm to reduce makespan, we apply BFDO and LPTO algorithms to address load balancing and bin-packing problems. through abundant experiments, we validate the superiority of our proposed BFDO and LPTO. © 2023 IEEE.

the traditional microcontroller (MCU) architectures generally rely on the CPU as the central processing unit, which often becomes a bottleneck for overall system efficiency. this paper presents a novel approach known as the memory-centric MCU architecture, along with a data transmission method. In Mem-MCU architecture, the CPU, memory, and peripherals share a common bus ring. the CPU and peripherals act as bus master devices, accessing the SRAM through the bus ring. All bus master devices are mapped to device control block data structures in the memory SRAM. After configuring the device control blocks through software, each bus master device can operate concurrently and automatically, facilitating data transfer between the bus master devices and the memory SRAM. Design and simulation results demonstrate that this method reduces chip costs, conserves CPU resources, and improves data transfer efficiency. Additionally, it enhances convenience, abstraction, and flexibility in software development. © 2023 IEEE.

With the shifting landscape of education, traditional review centers need to be reevaluated, leading to the integration of digital platforms and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). this research addresses the challenges arising from this transformation, focusing on effective technology utilization, secure online assessments, and maintaining educational standards. Additionally, financial support alternatives are discussed, emphasizing the importance of affordability and inclusiveness concerns. this study examines the Innovative engineering Board Examination Website System comprehensively, taking into account study session styles, materials availability, cost, and flexibility. through insight into these factors, the research facilitates flexible, accessible engineering learning by fostering online review centers. In addition to improving engineering licensing test preparation, it may also enhance educational paths. With engineering education constantly evolving, this study envisions a technological leap in review centers at the College of engineering that will revolutionize the industry. this study examines external factors, individual personalities, and marketing strategies that align services with board examiner preferences in order to determine the ideal review center criteria. based on these findings, new marketable, convenient, and cost-effective review centers will be able to be created, reflecting the need for adaptability in an ever-changing field such as engineering licensure exam preparation. © 2024 IEEE.

the heat dissipation effect of chips directly affects the normal operation of smart devices. Currently, air coolers are commonly used for chip heat sinks, and wing shaped heat sinks are widely used. Select fin type heat sinks as the research object according to actual needs, use ANSYS Fluent software to simulate the heat dissipation scenarios of chips in practical applications, and quickly and accurately obtain the heat dissipation characteristics of chips based on the changes in inlet flow velocity of the chassis, from natural convection to turbulence, the different thermal conductivity of heat sinks, and the different surface emissivity of the chassis and heat sinks, and make corresponding comparisons. Provide important basis for design and development, as well as chip heat dissipation optimization. © 2025 SPIE.

A well-designed ontology must be capable of addressing all the needs it is intended to satisfy. this complex task involves gathering all the potential questions from future users that the ontology should answer in order to respond precisely to these requests. However, variations in the questions asked by users for the same need complicate the interrogation process. Consequently, the use of a question-answering system seems to be a more efficient option for translating user queries into the formal SPARQL language. Current methods face significant challenges, including their reliance on predefined patterns, the quality of models and training data, ontology structure, resource complexity for approaches integrating various techniques, and their sensitivity to linguistic variations for the same user need. To overcome these limitations, we propose an optimal classification approach to classify user queries into corresponding SPARQL query classes. this method uses a neural network based on Transformer encoder-decoder architectures, improving both the understanding and generation of SPARQL queries while better adapting to variations in user queries. We have developed a dataset on estate liquidation and Python programming, built from raw data collected from specialist forums and websites. Two transformer models, GPT-2 and T5, were evaluated, with the basic T5 model obtaining a satisfactory score of 97.22%. © 2024 by SCITEPRESS – Science and Technology Publications, Lda.

the disease severity of onion white rot has to be measured carefully and correctly to ensure proper agricultural management of this crop. It is one of the most threatening diseases affecting onions since it is caused by the fungal organism called Sclerotium cepivourum. this imperative calls for the research we introduce, a novel hybrid model combining the ability of Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) with the explained ability of decision tree (DT). the symbiotic integration tries to enhance the precision of classifying onion white rot intensity to a fine-tuned automated diagnosis. Our study is based on a custom database with 3500 detailed pictures of 6 intensity grades of onion white rot. this heterogeneous database provided inputs to our hybrid model which was fine-tuned to achieve an impressive overall accuracy of 94.82%. the performance of the model's robustness is also explained using a multitude of detailed performance measures such as precision, recall, and F1 score. Our hybrid model proves to be superior in comparison with conventional approaches, as evidenced by both high accuracy and increased visibility in making decisions. the ability to discriminate is essential for stakeholders who want to understand the basis for the assigned severities. Our research goes beyond the limits of academic institutions and it has implications for precision agriculture. Our hybrid model automatically provides accurate estimates of disease severity leading to focused intervention, preventing yield loss, and improving resource exploitation. It also aligns with overall objectives in pursuing sustainable and knowledge-based agriculture. © 2024 IEEE.

Context: the knowledge domain of software engineering (SE) gradually expands due to fast emerging technologies and complex organisational processes. the software industry represents a special focus of interest from a knowledge Management (KM) perspective, as it is characterized by high employee turnover, a high level of outsourced projects, and an accelerated pace of technology innovations. knowledge management can substantially influence SE knowledge's life cycle, contributing to better structuring of organisational processes of knowledge creation, knowledge transfer, and knowledge sharing. Reflecting on the trends for SE automation with artificial intelligence tools, KM approaches can enable companies and professionals to reconsider the future of SE work. Purpose: the present research aims to identify and investigate how implementing knowledge management principles and processes within the software engineering domain can facilitate the future transformation of software-related jobs. based on a conceptual model, built upon the literature review, the paper analyses the quantitative data, collected from 91 software experts. Evaluating the impact of both organizational and domain types of SE knowledge, the discussion evaluates the unique value-adding SE processes along with models of how to explore AI applications to automate the SE domain. Results: the outcomes of the analysis identify the models of structuring knowledge management processes in SE both within the technological domain and organisational layers. the discussion section establishes suitable KM methods and approaches for supporting SE job transformation. It identifies the main knowledge management integration practices, demonstrating how combining KM with AI-based innovations may change the SE knowledge flow, improving substantially SE activities like onboarding new team members, monitoring software documentation, version control, and error tracking. © 2023 Academic conferences Limited. Wine quality prediction is essential for optimizing production and ensuring consumer satisfaction. this study introduces a novel Convoluted Deep Classification (CDC) approach for accurate wine quality assessment. Leveraging convolutional neural networks (CNNs), our method effectively extracts hierarchical features from diverse wine data. the process begins with dataset preprocessing, encompassing chemical properties and sensory attributes. Subsequently, a hierarchical CNN architecture is tailored to capture intricate features such as acidity levels and volatile compounds. Techniques like data augmentation and transfer learning are employed to bolster model generalization. Evaluation on a benchmark dataset demonstrates outstanding performance, achieving a remarkable accuracy of 97%. this surpasses traditional methods and baseline CNN architectures, affirming the efficacy of our approach. Additionally, interpretability analyses unveil the key features influencing wine quality predictions, providing invaluable insights for producers and connoisseurs alike. Our CDC framework offers a robust and interpretable solution for wine quality prediction, empowering stakeholders with actionable insights for production optimization and quality assurance in the wine industry. © 2024 IEEE.

Dental caries, identified as a frequent oral health issue, demands timely detection and classification for effective treatment planning and prevention of further complications. this work focuses on developing a robust automated system to detect and classify dental caries using radiology images of panoramic X-ray. the proposed automated classification system aims to accurately identify the required region of interest and categorize regions of dental caries within images of X-ray using deep convolutional learning methods. the workflow begins with acquisition of raw input images of panoramic X-ray images, containing various stages and types of dental caries followed by finetuning them. Subsequently, a custom-designed CNN architecture (U-Net) is trained on the selected dataset using appropriate loss functions and optimization techniques. Testing image sets are used to evaluate the model, and performance is assessed by accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and other relevant metrics. A maximum of 94% of diagnostic accuracy is reported with appropriate sensitivity and specificity using U-Net based segmented images. the effectiveness related to the developed system is measured in automated finding the regions of dental caries, by minimizing the errors of manual examination by dental professionals. this automated approach holds significant potential for improving diagnostic efficiency, enhancing treatment procedures, and ultimately contributing to better oral healthcare outcomes. © 2024 IEEE.

the main problem that often arises for doctor is using stethoscope to detect lung sounds. the analysis of lung sound obtained by a stethoscope is challenging when the signal level is extremely low. As a consequence, the current acoustic stethoscope has to be replaced by a digital electronic stethoscope. the primary goal of this study is to design a digital stethoscope that monitor lungs sounds and identify potential illnesses using CNN model. the notification of the detected disease is sent by pushover application and graphical representation is shown in the thINKSPEAK application. based on the analysis of the CNN model, the lung disease detection method achieved an average accuracy of 95%, which means it could be applied to diagnosis of lung disease in the real world. © 2023 IEEE.
