The behaviour of a system under test can be influenced by several factors, such as system configurations, user inputs, and so on. It has also been observed that many failures are caused by only a small number of *** testing aims at generating a small-sized test suite that can identify such failures. Random testing, on the other hand, selects test cases in a random manner, but has sometimes achieved similar failure-finding performance to combinatorial testing. Due to limited testing resources, test case prioritization is often employed, to attempt to identify failures as early as possible. Many prioritization studies, however, have only focused on test suites constructed by combinatorial testing, ignoring randomly constructed test suites. In this paper, we report on an investigation of test case prioritization for random combinatorial test suites. We conducted a series of empirical studies involving three real-world programs, each of which used twelve random combinatorial test suites, and adopted the well-known test case prioritization technique fixed-strength interaction coverage based prioritization (FICBP). Results from the studies indicate that, FICBP with high prioritization strength achieves better interaction coverage rate than with low prioritization strength. Furthermore, when the size of the random test suite is small, it would be better to assign a prioritization strength of 2;but otherwise, a strength of 3 would be more appropriate. Copyright 2017 acm.

This paper introduces swarm userinterfaces, a new class of human-computer interfaces comprised of many autonomous robots that handle both display and interaction. We describe the design of Zooids, an open-source open-hardware platform for developing tabletop swarm interfaces. The platform consists of a collection of custom-designed wheeled micro robots each 2.6 cm in diameter, a radio base-station, a highspeed DLP structured light projector for optical tracking, and a software framework for application development and control. We illustrate the potential of tabletop swarm userinterfaces through a set of application scenarios developed with Zooids, and discuss general design considerations unique to swarm userinterfaces.

Base Bleed is a widely used technology to reduce the drag of bodies in flight such as in the case artillery projectiles. It is based on increasing the pressure at the rear of the body through the injection of a low velocity fluid. In this paper we present a new PC application called "PROBASE" developed by EXPAL Systems SA and the Technical University of Cartagena (UPCT). The application, based on Qt® and OpenFOAM® and with a user friendly "interface", is able to estimate drag coefficients of slender bodies with Base Bleed units. This estimation is performed through the simulation of flight conditions and the resolution of the Navier-Stokes equations of the flow field with AUSM schemes and Large Eddy Simulation turbulence models. In the presented version, the transient computations are done with an axisymmetric two-dimensional approach of the problem, zero angle of attack and a fixed Base Bleed mass flow rate and swirl. Validation against experimental data is also included.
In this study, we propose floatio: a floating tangible userinterface that makes it easy to create a perception of animacy (lifelike movement). It has been pointed out that there are three requirements that make anima...

Room-temperature liquid metal GaIn25 (Eutectic Gallium Indium alloy, 75% gallium and 25% indium) has distinctive properties of reversible deformation and controllable locomotion under an external electric field stimulus. Liquid metal's newly discovered properties imply great possibilities in developing new technique for interface design. In this paper, we present LIME, LIquid MEtal interfaces for non-rigid interaction. We first discuss the interaction potential of LIME interfaces. Then we introduce the development of LIME cells and the design of some LIME widgets.
We propose a robust pointing detection with virtual shadow representation for interacting with a public display. Using a depth camera, our shadow is generated by a model with an angled virtual sun light and detects th...
