This paper describes the usage of object-oriented and microservice design patterns to enhance system maintainability. The project involved bringing together data from multiple sensor networks and providing single endpoint for client applications. The middleware consists of purpose-specific components, databases and various off-the-shelf IoT components. Key lessons learned include the role of design patterns in simplifying complex system interactions and improving understandability. The importance of a modular approach, where design patterns provide a structured framework that promote reuse of proven solutions and reduce technical complexity becomes clear during the implementation of the middleware. This paper explores trusted measurement technologies for Power internet of things (IoT) terminals, advocating for a dual-system architecture with a Trusted Platform Control Module (TPCM) at its core. The TPCM systematically evaluates trust measurement to safeguard against vulnerabilities, offering a robust defense mechanism for IoT devices against software threats. The implementation of TPCM ensures secure device operations, pivotal in maintaining the integrity of the Power IoT network. This research paper investigates optimization techniques for designing lownoise amplifiers (LNAs) in CMOS technology, focusing on achieving high performance for Zigbee applications at 950 MHz. The paper explores the Common-Node Matching (CNM). These techniques are analyzed for their impact on LNA performance, including noise figure (NF), power gain, and linearity. Additionally, a practical implementation of the PCSNIM technique is demonstrated through the design of a folded-cascode LNA for 950-MHz Zigbee applications. The paper concludes with insights into the advantages and limitations of each optimization technique and their implications for low-power, highperformance LNA design in CMOS technology. © 2025 the Author(s).

This paper presents a technique to design and implementation of 4-bit digital calculator using Verilog on FPGA. The calculator is aimed at providing basic arithmetic functionalities including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division within a 4-bit architecture. The design methodology involves breaking down the calculator into smaller modules such as the arithmetic logic unit (ALU) control unit, input /output interfaces 2’s complement, multiplexer, each implemented using Verilog HDL. The ALU handles arithmetic operations, while the control unit orchestrates the flow of the operations and manages input/output signals. The input interface accommodates user input from various source such as keypads or switches, while the output interface displays results using LEDs or 7-segment displays. The Project encompasses simulation, synthesis and implementation stages using Xilinx Vivado. Upon successful implementation, the 4-bit digital calculator serves as an educational tool for understanding FPGA-based digital system design while demonstrating the practical application of Verilog HDL in embedded system development. © 2025 the Author(s).

The advent of artificial intelligence has revolutionized various aspects of daily life, including home security systems. In this paper, we present a novel approach to designing a comprehensive home security system using Artificial intelligence technology. The system integrates various components such as Arduino Uno -ESP32 for data transmission, AWS IoT Core for cloud connectivity, a solenoid lock, and Wi-Fi modules for internet connectivity. Additionally, the system incorporates AI algorithms to monitor and control household devices like lights and fan, enhancing both security and energy efficiency. A key highlight of our approach is the use of AI- powered smart door locks, key, which distinguish between authorized and unauthorized individuals. This paper discusses the design, implementation, and evaluation of our system, highlighting its effectiveness in providing robust home security while minimizing false alarms. New home security systems consolidate with keen home advanced help. Lights can partner with self-observed home security system, turning on a proprietor’s lights in the event of a break-in. things like Amazon’s Alexa, Apple’s Siri, or Google Assistant are additionally adequate with different alarms and security associations. © 2025 the Author(s).

At present, the nuclear power industry is in a period of transformation and upgrading. With the rapid development of our society and the acceleration of urbanization, the problem of fire safety has become increasingly prominent, and has become an important part of maintaining public safety and social stability. Aiming at the problems of imperfect fire facilities, weak fire awareness, lack of effective monitoring and early warning system, this paper designs an intelligent fire patrol car system with STM32 microcontroller as the core, integrating internet of things technology, sensor technology, wireless communication technology and sound and light alarm mechanism. The system is composed of four wheel drive, alloy chassis, various sensors and SG90 servo. It can significantly enhance the intelligence level of fire patrol and the timeliness of emergency response through accurate path planning, real-time obstacle avoidance, efficient fire monitoring and wireless communication. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

In this paper, we present a visitor access management system via a smartphone app. The system will consist of 4 main modules:ID Card Camera Module, Face Camera Module, Arduino Box Module and Main module. The Main Module is controlled by Esp32 DevKit V1, which communicates via SPI with RFID RC522, via I2C with LCD 20x4 and MPR121 Keypad. Additionally, there is a card dispenser consisting of an RC Motor and another RC522 RFID reader controlled by an Arduino UNO microcontroller to provide temporary access cards for visitors. The use of temporary access cards ensures convenience for visitors and minimizes disturbance to residents if the visitor needs to enter and exit the apartment complex during their stay. The system utilizes Firebase to store data and provide visitor information to residents through smartphone applications. Using a smartphone app instead of a traditional intercom system significantly reduces initial installation costs while offering users flexibility, allowing them to grant access to visitors anytime and anywhere via the mobile application. This system aims to provide convenience for both visitors and residents, enhance apartment security, reduce operational and installation costs. Copyright © 2024 held by the owner/author(s). The fetal movement signal represents the most intuitive indicator of the health of the fetus and the mother. In order to effectively monitor the health status of the fetus and the pregnant woman in the third trimester, an application was designed based on the Android operating system for real-time monitoring of fetal movement in pregnant women. Using Android Studio as the development platform, the SQLite database was utilized to facilitate user registration and login. The low-power Bluetooth API is utilized to establish the connection between the mobile terminal and the wireless fetal movement monitor for pregnant women, enabling the collection of raw fetal movement data. Real-time transmission of data to the smartphone via low-power Bluetooth is achieved, followed by the processing and recognition of fetal movement signals on the app, culminating in the visualization of the recognition results. Through rigorous testing and application, the system facilitates the visualization of fetal health data, addressing family concerns about the health of pregnant women and fetuses, and is applicable in the field of fetal health monitoring. © 2025 IEEE.
