This paper studies the correlation between students' concentration in class and learning interest, emotional state and other influencing factors. By collecting students' classroom status data, a data set suitable for data mining is constructed. Based on the idea of Apriori algorithm, the Anaconda Navigator programming tool is used to mine the association rules of students' classroom concentration. Through data mining based on Apriori algorithm, and the association rules between students' emotional state, learning interest and other factors and in-class test scores are output. The results of strong association rules show that the better students' emotional state, learning interest and other states are, the better their classroom concentration performance is. Mining the potential influencing factors of students' classroom concentration provides valuable reference theory for students to improve classroom concentration and teachers to improve classroom teaching effect, which is helpful for teachers and students to build a more efficient classroom together in the future. © 2023 IEEE.

In this study, a seven-level neutral point clamped (NPC) grid -tied inverter using switched capacitor unit is provided. The proposed topology can generate seven-level output voltage waveform with voltage boosting capability. The voltage boosting factor of the proposed inverter is 1.5. In this topology, the switched capacitor is charged to input dc source voltage and provide the voltage boosting feature. In the suggested structure the neutral point of the power grid is connected to mid-point of the dc-link capacitors. Therefore, the common mode voltage and leakage current are reduced. A comprehensive comparison among other recently topologies is done in this study. Simulation results validate the accurate performance of the proposed grid-tied inverter. © 2023 IEEE.

The construction industry faces significant challenges, including a skilled labour shortage exacerbated by traditional training methods and the increasing complexity of projects, In recent years, solar panel systems have become a popular sustainable solution for enhancing energy efficiency. This paper explores the potential of Digital Twins (DT) technology to revolutionize construction training and enhance operational efficiency. By integrating augmented reality, the Internet of Things (IoT), and real-Time data analytics, DTs offer immersive training solutions that can better prepare workers for the demands of modern construction environments particular in solar panel system construction. The study highlights how DTs can facilitate safety training, improve material utilization, and optimize building performance. Despite the promise of DT technology, widespread adoption in the solar panel system construction and maintenance, primarily due to the industry's inherent complexities. This paper concludes that overcoming these barriers is essential for leveraging DTs to address labour shortages and improve training outcomes, ultimately leading to a more skilled workforce capable of meeting contemporary solar panel system construction challenges. © 2024 IEEE.

In rehabilitation and medical offices, mechanomyography (MMG) is a noninvasive, painless technology that can be applied for a number of goals. The goal of this study is to present a thorough overview of recent studies on mechanomyography-based human limb rehabilitation. The present study illuminates the utilization of distinct transducers, including accelerometers, piezoelectric contact sensors, and condenser microphone sensors. Furthermore, it underscores the diverse results that these investigations have yielded. The main findings of this review, which apply to all of these forms of mechanomyography sensors, are that the ratio of sensor mass to muscle mass under observation is the most crucial factor in sensor selection. Therefore, it is believed that accelerometers are the most trustworthy devices for spotting MMG signals during both voluntary and induced muscular contractions. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

As a result of non-linear load fluctuations, increased utilization of electronic devices, and the growing emphasis on sustainable and renewable energy sources, the power system reliability sector has garnered significant attention. The efficiency of electricity transmission from the source to residential, manufacturing, and commercial consumers is gauged by sustainable power quality. Energy plays a crucial role in accomplishing various tasks, and different types of sustainable energies are available and employed based on specific requirements. Renewable resources such as water, wind, and solar power are harnessed to generate sustainable energy, with considerations for factors such as rainfall and temperature, as they directly impact energy production. Rainfall contributes to the availability of water-based energy sources, while solar power generation relies on sunlight and temperature. Consequently, studying rainfall, temperature, and wind patterns becomes essential in assessing energy availability and requirements. Statistical measures, including the correlation coefficient, are employed to explore the relationships between these parameters. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive research focus on sustainable power within distribution networks, encompassing both elements of energy availability and requirements. In this study, to address the problems of multi-source data input, low classification accuracy, and fuzzy segmentation boundaries in the terrain classification task, NASADEM is used as the data source, and part of the Shaanxi Province of China is intercepted as the dataset, so as to propose an optimized semantic segmentation network model, GMF-HRNet, to achieve efficient and automatic classification of the basic landform types. Initially, we introduce a Gated Attention Block (GA Block) to efficiently extract terrain feature information and enhance semantic information. Subsequently, in order to take into account the complementarity and inherent dissimilarity among features of varying scales, a Multi-scale Gradual Feature Fusion module (MGFF) is devised to aggregate global and local information, thereby significantly improving classification accuracy. The experimental results show that the mean Intersection over Union (mIoU) of GMF-HRNet reaches 78.16%, which is improved by 3.73% compared with the original model, and at the same time exceeds the mainstream semantic segmentation network model, which has a wide range of application prospects in the research field of the intersection of geography and computer disciplines. © 2025 IEEE.

Garbage target detection plays a crucial role in environmental protection and urban management. With the continuous development of computer vision technology, deep learning methods have become one of the main tools for garbage target detection. YOLOv7 is an advanced object detection model known for its high speed and accuracy, but it still faces challenges in garbage target detection. In order to enhance the performance of YOLOv7[1] in garbage target detection, this study proposes an approach based on improved ***, we introduce the GAMAttention[2] attention module to enhance the model's ability to detect small targets. Secondly, we incorporate the Decoupled Head[3] to improve the model's robustness to targets in complex backgrounds. Additionally, we optimize the model's loss function to further enhance detection accuracy. The proposed garbage target detection method based on improved YOLOv7 has made significant progress in improving detection performance, providing more effective tools and technical support for environmental protection and urban management. This approach is expected to be widely promoted in practical applications, addressing challenges and issues in the field of garbage target detection. © 2025 SPIE.

A crop disease detection method suitable for modern agricultural greenhouses is proposed in this paper. Based on the principle of machine vision detection technology and LabVIEW software program, the disease recognition and detection on the surface of potted crops can be quickly achieved. The system first preprocesses the image, and through processes such as system calibration and image correction, grayscale histogram analysis, threshold segmentation, particle analysis and processing, feature analysis, and pattern matching, it achieves rapid recognition of crop diseases. When performing threshold segmentation on images, this system introduces a background correction algorithm to preprocess the images. The image recognition method for crop leaf diseases studied in this article makes monitoring and formulating pest control measures more effective. © 2023 IEEE.

Workflows are a systematic approach for defining various scientific applications of distributed systems. They break down complicated, data-intensive processes into minor activities that can be executed serially or in parallel according to the type of application. Cloud systems need to allocate resources and schedule workflows efficiently. Despite many studies on job scheduling and resource provisioning, an efficient solution isn't found. Therefore, techniques are required to enhance resource utilization for optimal cloud computing platforms. Hence, user and provider quality of service (QoS) goals, like shortening workflows and ensuring budget limits with low energy utilization, must be considered. Enhanced Salp Swarm Optimization (ESSA) is designed to optimize makespan and QoS metrics in cloud systems. A Virtual Machine (VM's) compute capacity is related to Central Processing Unit (CPU) and memory. Size and memory demand is considered for tasks in the workflow, and task execution time is evaluated using both CPU and memory. The collated experimental outcomes convey that the newly presented technique boosts the workflows' energy utilization (up to 89%) and pushes the normalized makespan results to 3.2ms. © 2022 IEEE.
