Large Language Models (LLMs) have demonstrated remarkable performance across a wide range of natural language processing tasks. However, their enormous parameter size and extremely high requirements for compute power pose challenges for their practical deployment. Recent research has revealed that specific capabilities of LLMs, such as numerical reasoning, can be transferred to smaller models through distillation. Some studies explore the potential of leveraging LLMs to perform table-based reasoning. However, there has been no prior work focusing on table reasoning skills in smaller models specifically tailored for scientific table-to-text generation tasks. In this paper, we propose a novel table-based reasoning distillation approach, with the aim of distilling LLMs into tailored smaller models. Our experimental results have shown that a 220 million parameter model (Flan-T5-base) fine-tuned using distilled data, not only achieves a significant improvement compared to traditionally fine-tuned baselines, but also surpasses specific LLMs on a scientific table-to-text generation dataset. Agriculture is the primary source of livelihood and income for the majority of people in India. Despite providing employment to 60% of India's population, agriculture only accounts for 20% of the country's GDP. This disparity might be the result of inadequate crop planning. To cope up with this problem, we propose an Android app-based solution using the Machine Vision approach. The app will take a picture of the soil and send it to the ML model for classification. NPK sensors are also used to measure soil nutrients, and the resulting values are uploaded to the cloud. By using NPK values and classified soil type, the system recommends the most suitable crop for particular soil type. The Support Vector Machine algorithm is utilized for both training and classification purposes and the Random Forest algorithm is used for crop prediction. After conducting extensive testing and validation, our proposed algorithm has demonstrated its ability to increase agricultural productivity. These findings underscore the potential of such technologies in revolutionizing modern agriculture by improving resource utilization, reducing environmental impact, and ultimately contributing to sustainable and resilient agroecosystems. © 2024 IEEE.

This method for AI-driven drug discovery and therapeutic target selection for rare genetic diseases is a cutting-edge and comprehensive strategy for addressing the challenges posed by such diseases. As a prerequisite, it is necessary to collect and combine genomic, transcriptomic, proteomic, and clinical data from numerous sources in a systematic manner. By integrating genetic and clinical data, it is possible to construct a more complete picture of the disorders. Feature selection procedures are utilized to further simplify the research by focusing on the most essential characteristics for target identification and reducing the dimensionality of the data. Based on the integrated data set, machine learning models such as Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines, and Random Forests are utilized to recommend prospective therapeutic targets. Validation and cross-validation techniques are used to assure the validity and generalizability of these models. The strategy emphasizes adherence to applicable ethical principles and legal frameworks while encouraging collaboration across specialties. The patient is the focal point throughout, and new data is continuously collected to improve results and develop more individualized therapies based on everyone's unique genetic profile. The iterative nature of the methodology allows for continual refinement as new data and clinical insights emerge. AI-predicted targets undergo biological validation through in vitro and in vivo experiments, bridging the gap between computational predictions and clinical applications. Knowledge and insights are shared with the scientific community through open-access databases and collaborative platforms. © 2024 IEEE.

Social networks' rapid rise has brought with it many ways of understanding individual interactions within these digital ecosystems and the language employed within. These methodologies include machine learning algorithms, information sources and feature-based approaches - offering a broad array of techniques currently available. This research endeavor's primary objective is to explore the predictability of personal characteristics among Facebook users based on components and metrics drawn from Big 5 personality model. Researchers utilized the Personality Research dataset to investigate social media networks and language traits relevant to interpersonal personality interactions. Four machine learning algorithms were extensively evaluated before performing correlation analyses between each set feature and user attributes. Even with similar datasets tested, XGBoost-classifiers consistently outshone baseline methods in terms of prediction accuracy. Researchers achieved an 85.3 percent accuracy rate. Social network analysis features sets proved instrumental in increasing accuracy by 89.5 percent for personality attribute predictions;this demonstrated their strong predictive capabilities as the central feature in this research to enhance personality prediction. © 2024 IEEE.

In this paper, the 2023 China Higher Education Cup National College Students Mathematical Contest in Modeling is used as the theme to study the automatic pricing and replenishment decisions of vegetable products. Because the shelf life of vegetable products in fresh supermarkets is relatively short, and the quality will deteriorate with the increase of sales time, most vegetable varieties cannot be sold the next day if they are not sold on the same day. This requires a reasonable and efficient analysis and identification system, and builds a model based on the category of dishes sold, the sales volume, and the total sales, and generates automatic pricing and replenishment decisions. In this paper, linear regression, kendall consistency test, cost-plus pricing (P=c × (1+r)) method, and genetic algorithm are used to establish a mathematical model to obtain automatic pricing and replenishment decisions. © 2025 IEEE.

Photovoltaic power generation is an important technology in the field of solar power generation. This paper mainly focuses on the land utilization rate of photovoltaic system based on layout optimization algorithm. First of all, the technical principle of photovoltaic power generation and the composition and classification of photovoltaic power generation system are summarized and analyzed, the mathematical model of photovoltaic panel array is established, and the MATLAB/Simulink simulation model of photovoltaic array under uniform arrangement and non-uniform arrangement is established. This paper studies the principle of energy conversion efficiency of photovoltaic array based on Monte Carlo algorithm, explains the influence of arrangement mode on the output power and output characteristics of photovoltaic array, and obtains the land utilization rate of photovoltaic system after various optimization. © 2025 IEEE.

Educational service providers deliver information about student admission by installing banners, distributing brochures, and providing information directly to prospective new students annually. The target result can be outside expectations because there is no data analysis related to optimizing the support of the system. This study proposes the K-Means algorithm optimized with the Association Rules method to map the interests of prospective students in selecting the study program. The data collection method uses an explanatory research survey and correlational study with primary data from the questionnaires and documents for new students in the year 2022. The accuracy results of this study using the K-Means algorithm process to calculate the silhouette score, elbow methods, cross-combination experiments, and data sharing are 95.00%. The optimization accuracy with mapping relationships between variables using frequent itemset and Association Rules increased to 100%. The most significant factors influencing the student selection of study programs are religion 100%, transportation 85.71%, gender 83.33%, school status 80.95%, regency 73.81%, school origin 71.43%, the district of the school close to student life 66.67%, residence located at the parent's home 64.29%, place of birth 61.90%, and job future ambition 61.90%. © 2024 IEEE.

Fused deposition modelling (FDM) is simulated in this research work to anticipate the characteristics of 3D printed parts. Eight FDM variables are studied for Polyether-ether-ketone (PEEK) and Polyether-ketone-ketone (PEKK). A set of experiments based on Taguchi L18 is carried out. An interval type-2 fuzzy logic system (IT2 F LS) is then established to extract the relationships among the materials and the various FDM parameters and the characteristics of the 3D printed parts. Based on the results obtained by a set of experiments, the IT2 F LS can extract the relationships and predict the characteristics of the printed specimens with very good predictive performances. In addition, the IT2FLS outperformed the type-1 fuzzy logic system with an overall improvement of approximately 8%. © 2022 IEEE.

In this modern era, technology plays a vital role in our day-to-day activities. People, be it young or old tend to rely on various smart devices in completing their daily tasks. During the Covid period, the educational institutions, Government offices, banks, industries and others adopted online mode of working. Everything started transforming towards online operations and this increased a need for security. The devices that are involved in this system need to be secured from the people having malicious intentions. Face verification is one such popular method that can be employed to ensure security, nevertheless it is more exposed to the spoofing attacks. One of the methods that can be incorporated in defending against the spoofing attack would be the use of face liveliness detection, commonly known as face spoofing detection. Techniques like machine learning, deep learning and computer vision, their efficient tools have increased the efficiency and effectiveness in face liveliness detection and is more feasible towards the general-purpose usage. The proposed model is developed using CNN and liveness net algorithm. This model enhances the security system by combining the benefits of face verification and face liveliness detection technologies. As an outcome, model provides 97% of accuracy in detecting the real and fake data. © 2024 IEEE.

Urban sprawl and the growth of the vehicle fleet have the main problem of vehicular congestion. Nowadays, there are different ways to generate data from various sources, for instance, GPS devices and video surveillance cameras installed in strategic locations. These tools are used to address this problem. In this work, we apply the YOLOv7 model trained with the Argoverse-HD, and DS-ivic datasets (Dataset of images and videos of vehicles in the city of Cusco, Peru) to help intelligently manage vehicle congestion. Specifically, the research objective is to determine vehicle density for each type of vehicle and the automatic classification of vehicles in Cusco, Peru. For this purpose, the best Yolov7 model was determined by achieving the best performance with the DS-ivic dataset for the detection and vehicle density (car, bus, and truck). For this purpose, 2,866 images were labeled for the DS-ivic dataset. As a result, it was found that the YOLOv7 model with the DS-ivic dataset achieved a mAP50 of 57.89% compared to a mAP50 of 51.56% with the ArogverseHD dataset showing a significant enhancement. Likewise, these results were compared with the YOLOv7 trained model with the MS-COCO dataset, which achieved a mAP50 of 69.7% for the detection of vehicles detection. © 2023 IEEE.
