Based on numerical imageprocessing methods and visualization techniques, using the V-Sticher virtual fitting system, the research and evaluation on the realistic of fabric simulation model will be conducted. At first, the fabric performance effect in V-Sticher which is a virtual fitting system was studied, and then analyzes the correlation with the actual fabric physical properties measured by the FAST fabric style instrument. The cotton, hemp, silk, chemical fiber fabrics were tested and compared by V-Sticher fabric style instrument and FAST fabric style instrument; The main physical properties relation equation of the two evaluationsystems were derived by separately. Using correlation coefficient method and neural network model, its correlation model is established, and the fabric physical properties correlation equation of the FAST system and the V-Sticher system are derived. The conversion equation can be used to conduct objective evaluation on the realistic of the V-Sticher three-dimensional imaging fabric simulation. What's more, using the method, the virtual fabric design is also feasible, and the method can be applied in fabric design and production process.

A three-dimensional (3D) stochastic cloud generation architecture is developed to simulate radiative scenes for performanceevaluation of space-based optical system. The rescale-and-add fractal algorithm is employed to generate internal and external structure data of clouds. The Spherical Harmonic Discrete Ordinate (SHDOM) code is selected to solve the 3D radiative transfer equation numerically. The flowchart of the simulation system is shown. The methods for generating 3D grid data of cloud spatial structure and liquid water content (LWC), as well as the radiative quantities, are presented. Two types of clouds are generated as illustrations. Radiative cloud scenes under different imaging conditions could be conveniently available using this framework. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods and architecture.

Thales Raytheon systems' PC simulation (PCS) tool allows a rapid simulated evaluation of Firefinder radar performance from a personal desktop computer. Firefinder radars are designed to track hostile rocket, artillery and mortar (RAM) projectiles in order to accurately estimate weapon ground location. The Firefinder tactical code is used within PCS. This design provides a low risk path to rapid prototyping and evaluation of candidate software changes. PCS is used to evaluate candidate software changes to the Firefinder. Candidate design changes which perform well in PCS testing require minimum system level checkout before being checked into the tactical software baseline. The PCS tool contains a simulation engine which reads program control information from input data files. The PCS tool also generates and maintains simulated targets and clutter, simulates the radar signalprocessing function, performs Monte-Carlo “batch” processing, produces complex target trajectories internally or from an input text file and creates simulation data recording files identical in format to those created by the actual radar. This paper summarizes the capabilities of the lastest PCS.

The visual quality obtained in wireless transmission strongly depends on the characteristics of the wireless channel and on the error resilience of the source coding. The wireless extensions of the JPEG 2000 standard (JPWL) and H.264 are the latest international standards for still image and video compression, respectively. However, few results have been reported to compare the rate-distortion (R-D) performance of JPEG 2000 and H.264. Conversely, comparative studies of error resilience between JPWL and H.264 for wireless still image transmission have not been thoroughly investigated. In this paper, we analyse the error resilience of image coding based on JPWL and H.264 I-frame coding in Rayleigh fading channels. Comprehensive objective and perceptual results are presented in relation to the error resilience performance of these two standards under various conditions. Our simulation results reveal that H.264 is more robust to transmission errors than JPWL for wireless still image transmission.

A new type of real-time image stabilization system is introduced in present paper. RANSAC Algorithm is used in the system. The accuracy and speed of image stabilization is improved effectively. A low-cost and high-performance solution of real-time digital image stabilization system is given in this paper. Video stabilization working principle is discussed and the moving image mathematical model is set up. The RANSAC Algorithm can reduce the amount of calculation and the error rate of block matching. simulation of the real-time image stabilization system is accomplished. The result shows the new model is effective; the power SNR of the video is raised about 8-10 dB.

Improvement of performance in sub-band coding system that style in image coding system, is very important. In the coding systems, due to the filter bank that used, coding schemes are classified into two classes, one might have the pair-wise mirror-image property in their filter banks, and performs symmetrically regardless of the sign of the autocorrelation, and the other including JPEG2000 that uses bi-orthogonal 9/7-tap Daubechies filters for lossy compression, has not the mirror image property and performs asymmetrically with inferior performance for negative autocorrelation. In this paper, we want with modulating the negatively-correlated signal sequence by the alternating sign signal with unity magnitude to convert them into positively correlated-sequence. The experimental results for test images show that little gain was obtained by for natural images, since they have small amount of energy in the high frequency bands in horizontal and vertical directions. However 1.5-2dB improvement of PSNR has been obtained for images such as Fingerprint, which have a large amount of energy in high frequency range.

Video transmission over error prone channels, such as typical for Mobile TV or IPTV systems, is constantly subject to research. simulation is an important instrument to evaluate performance of the overall system, but the multitude of parameters often requires large and time-consuming simulation sets. In this paper, we present a mechanism for fast evaluation of error-prone H.264/AVC and SVC video transmission with application-level metrics. Our approach significantly reduces overall simulation time by eliminating redundancy in the evaluation phase and utilizing the prediction structure of H.264/AVC and SVC. The benefit of the presented approach is evaluated with an exemplary simulation setup of a Mobile TV scenario via DVB-H.
