This paper proposes a distributed power and charging infrastructure carrying capacity evaluation model based on big data, aiming to solve the growing power demand and charging infrastructure load pressure. The model is based on the concept of robust carrying capacity, and by integrating Wasserstein fuzzy set theory, it realizes the carrying capacity evaluation of distributed power and charging infrastructure in an uncertain environment. The algorithm in this paper first preprocesses large-scale data, constructs carrying capacity evaluation indicators through cluster analysis and fuzzy logic, and performs fuzzy set operations based on Wasserstein distance. The system simulation part uses real data to verify the model, and through multi-scenario simulation analysis, it shows the performance of the model under different load conditions. The simulation results show that the proposed model has good robustness in dealing with different charging demands and uneven distribution of distributed power sources, and the evaluation error is controlled within a reasonable range. The data analysis results show that compared with traditional methods, the model has significant advantages in improving evaluation accuracy and adaptability.

Low Probability of Detection and Interception (LPD/LPI) features have been implemented in many military satellite communication systems. Recognizing the vital nature of these systems, careful design and thorough evaluation is required prior to operational deployment. The classical performance metric Circular Equivalent Vulnerability Radius (CEVR) is used to evaluate the vulnerability of the LPD/LPI systems. In this paper, we propose a new performance metric called Range to CEVR ratio (RCR) to evaluate the LPD/LPI performance of a satellite communication uplink. Compared to the CEVR which mainly considers the interceptor capability, the RCR combines interceptor capability, receiver capability as well as the communication channels for both transmitter-receiver link and transmitter-interceptor link. We then develop a simulation framework that integrates MATLAB signal processing simulation for interceptor detectors and astrodynamics models for spacecraft and aircraft flight, and then we assess LPD/LPI systems by using the RCR and CEVR. We demonstrate the integrated simulation tools by various use case studies, which include transmitter power, frequency selection study (e.g., C band versus Ku band) and the weather effects.

This paper presents a comprehensive study on the design, modeling, and validation of a signal acquisition system for piezoelectric (PZ) sensors. The article focuses on modeling piezoelectric device behavior, including the development of an electric equivalent circuit to represent sensor characteristics. A key component discussed is the design of a low-cost charge amplifier, which amplifies the small electrical charges generated by piezoelectric sensors. The paper details the design considerations and performance evaluation of the charge amplifier. Experimental results, along with simulation-based verification, validate the system's efficacy, demonstrating consistent performance in capturing the PZ sensor's output. The integration of an STM32 microcontroller enables data acquisition with high-speed ADCs, ensuring reliable signal storage, processing, and analysis.

Digital signal processing (DSP) is fundamentally dependent on multiplication for tasks like image processing, audio processing, communication systems, and control systems. Because multiplication significantly impacts processing speed, faster multipliers are essential for boosting overall system performance. This proj ect investigates the implementation and utilization of a Look-Up Table (LUT) multiplier on a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) to address this challenge. The proposed design capitalizes on the inherent capabilities of the FPGA architecture to create optimized and efficient multipliers. We will showcase an 8-bit multiplier constructed entirely from basic LUT components. In addition to this exploration, the proj ect delves into the development of approximate multipliers. These multipliers prioritize lower power consumption and design simplicity, while maintaining an acceptable level of accuracy. To achieve this balance, specific selection rules are employed to identify potential zero coefficients within the data. The efficacy of the multiplier design was rigorously evaluated through a three step process: development in Verilog HDL, simulation, and synthesis within a Vivado Zynq FPGA. This evaluation assessed critical factors such as area usage on the FPGA chip, processing delay, and overall power consumption. Finally, to demonstrate the computational efficiency of the approximate multiplier in real-world scenarios, it was integrated into the structure of an FIR filter.

This research work presents a complete simulation-based analysis of a free-space optics (FSO) communication system that combines digital signal processing (DSP) with polarization-division multiplexing (PDM) and 256-QAM modulation. The performance of the system is assessed under different weather conditions, such as rain and fog. The design and evaluation are done using a simulation framework, with bit error rate (BER) and error vector magnitude (EVM) acting as the main performance parameters. Significant findings indicate that the system is able to transmit the data over a maximum distance of 1200 m in light fog, 700 m in moderate fog, and 550 m in heavy fog. Similarly, in rainfall conditions, the system provides data transmission over distances of 1600 m during light rain, 1250 m in moderate rain, and 750 m during heavy rain, all considering the EVM value below 3% and the BER value at or below 10– 4 . These results explain the reliability and adaptability of the DSP-PDM-256-QAM-enabled FSO system throughout the challenging weather conditions, highlighting its suitability for implementation in difficult environments. The study gives a key understanding of optimizing FSO systems to combat harsh weather, laying the foundation for robust, high-performance communication networks.

TomoSAR improves the information dimension of radar image from2D to 3D, and is widely used in elevation modeling, deformation inversion of infrastructure such as high-rise buildings, dams and mining areas, and forest vegetation biomass estimation. However, the revisiting time of traditional spaceborne TomoSAR is more than 10 days, it is difficult to monitor and forecast the sudden deformation in real time. Furthermore, most of the loworbit satellites are deployed in the north-south direction, so the deformation measurement accuracy in the north-south direction is relatively poor. The orbit baselines in height direction of low orbit satellites are small, so the image quantity and cost of high resolution tomography processing are ***, low orbit TomoSAR is difficult to achieve high frequency, high precision and low-cost three-dimensional deformation measurement. Although GEO SAR and MEO SAR systems have the advantages of shorter revisit period, longer observation time and larger beam coverage area theoretically,there are no satellites in orbit at present. GNSS-TomoSAR, based on the reflected signals of navigation satellites, uses the in-orbit navigation satellite as the irradiation source, and a stationary receiver is placed on the ground to receive the echo signal reflected from the scene for synthetic aperture radar tomographic processing, which can achieve high frequency, high precision and low-cost three-dimensional deformation monitoring of the scene. GNSSTomoSAR is a relatively novel signal processing concept, which is rarely studied at home and abroad. In this paper, the signal processing model of GNSS-TomoSAR is established, the performance boundary of GNSSTomoSAR is discussed, and the actual track of Beidou IGSO satellite is used to conduct the simulation of height inversion of point target in GNSS-TomoSAR configuration. Real-time simulation enables the understanding of system operating conditions by evaluating simulation models of physical components running synchronized at the real-time wall clock. Leveraging the real-time measurements of comprehensive system models, faster than real-time (FTRT) simulation allows the evaluation of system architectures at speeds faster than real-time. FTRT simulation can assist in predicting the system's behavior efficiently, thus assisting the operation of system processes. Namely, the provided acceleration can be used for improving system scheduling, assessing system vulnerabilities, and predicting system disruptions in real-time systems. The acceleration of simulation times can be achieved by utilizing digital real-time simulators (RTS) and high-performance computing (HPC) architectures. FTRT simulation has been widely used, among others, for the operation, design, and investigation of power system events, building emergency management plans, wildfire prediction, etc. In this paper, we reviewthe existing literature on FTRT simulation and its applications in different disciplines, with a particular focus on power systems. We present existing system modeling approaches, simulation tools and computing frameworks, and stress the importance of FTRT accuracy.

Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communications are the core technology for the next generation of telecommunications. However, with the increasing complexity of Channel State Information (CSI), CSI feedback in massive MIMO FDD systems becomes a bottleneck problem. Deep learning (DL) methods have been used to improve the reconstruction efficiency of CSI feedback and demonstrated an improvement in reconstruction performance in CSI feedback. However, most of the models sacrifice a significant computational cost in training due to the large size of the autoencoder network. In this paper in order to reduce the training complexity, we propose a model structure based on CRNet, called HRNet, using the Hypernetwork approach to generate the parameters required for the decoder. By comparing the experimental results, we found that the HRNet model can reduce the number of training parameters by an average of 39.98% compared to the CRNet model while maintaining a comparable level in terms of normalized mean square error (NMSE) performance. The use of hypernetwork enables HRNet to generate parameters based on different features of the input data, thus providing better adaptability and flexibility.

Speech enhancement (SE) aims to extract the clean waveform from noise-contaminated measurements to improve the speech quality and intelligibility. Although learning-based methods can perform much better than traditional counterparts, the large computational complexity and model size heavily limit the deployment on latency-sensitive and low-resource edge devices. In this work, we propose a lightweight SE network (LiSenNet) for real-time applications. We design sub-band downsampling and upsampling blocks and a dual-path recurrent module to capture band-aware features and time-frequency patterns, respectively. A noise detector is developed to detect noisy regions in order to perform SE adaptively and save computational costs. Compared to recent higher-resource-dependent baseline models, the proposed LiSenNet can achieve a competitive performance with only 37k parameters (half of the state-of-the-art model) and 56M multiply-accumulate (MAC) operations per second.
