The assessment of an academic’s performance is not solely based on the tangible results achieved. Nonetheless, the formation aspect of the Knowledge Management (KM) process, which arises in the pursuit of outcomes, must be acknowledged. This emphasizes the significance of KM process development for academics in achieving their essential responsibilities including teaching and learning, research and publishing, and community service. Consequently, it is essential to develop a KM model for assessing the accomplishments of academics in higher education. An evaluation of academic performance in higher education was conducted to identify the success factors of knowledge management, by considering five key elements viz, knowledge creation, knowledge acquisition, knowledge storage, knowledge sharing, and knowledge application. Accordingly, sixty-five sub-variables were identified as success model factors for evaluating academic knowledge management performance. A K-Means clustering method was utilized to assess the KM qualifications of academics at an Islamic public institution in Indonesia (University X) as the primary study. Herein, a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire was administered to 500 academics and subsequently categorized into three performance levels such as low, medium, and high performance. As a result, 140 academicians were categorized as low KM performance, 139 were clustered as medium qualification, and 221 academicians were positioned in high performance. Furthermore, a recommendation analysis is presented to elucidate the accomplishments of academic credentials for each cluster and propose corrective actions for enhancement. Therefore, the scholars at University X might enhance their knowledge management practices to get a superior quality university.

Agricultural GRDP data is spatial data that has inter-regional dependency. Therefore, the Autoregressive Spatial SAR model is used to analyze the data. The SAR model is often used to analyze spatial data that has inter-regional dependence in Java. However, the presence of outliers can affect the results of SAR analysis and lead to inaccurate conclusions. By testing spatial dependency using Moran’s I, there is an effect of spatial dependency on GDP data for the agricultural sector in Java Island, thus this study aims to detect and handle outliers in GDP data for the agricultural sector in Indonesia. This study uses a method to detect outliers, namely the Variance Shift Outlier Model (VSOM) method which is a defined random effects model that focuses on detecting and handling outliers with a variance approach. This method allows the identification and handling of outliers that arise due to changes in variance between observations in the SAR model, and the variables used include agricultural sector GRDP (Y), total agricultural sector labor (X1), agricultural sector real wages (X2), agricultural sector domestic investment (X3), and agricultural sector FDI (X4). The results showed that there were 6 observations of boostrap results that indicated the presence of outliers and then resolved with VSOM which resulted in a smaller SSR and MSE value of VSOM in detecting and accommodating outliers in the GDP data of the Agricultural Sector in Java the Adj R2 value of VSOM is greater at 0.59655 compared to the SAR model.

Software testing is a critical phase in software development to ensure the reliability and quality of software systems. With the increasing complexity of software applications, the number of test cases can grow significantly, posing challenges in terms of execution time and resource utilization. Test Case Prioritization (TCP) has emerged as a crucial technique to optimize the order of test case execution, aiming to detect defects early in the testing process. This paper presents a novel approach to Test Case Prioritization by harnessing the power of Rat Swarm Optimization (RSO), an algorithm inspired by the collective behavior of rat colonies. Experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of our approach compared to another algorithm. This study evaluates the performance of the proposed method using the execution time taken and compared it with the others algorithm like Ant Colony Optimization (ACO), Artificial Bee Colony (ABC) algorithm, and Firefly algorithm. The results indicate that the Rat Swarm Optimizer (RSO) algorithm is notably more efficient in terms of execution time compared to the other tested algorithms. The results highlight the potential of RSO for applications requiring rapid test case prioritization, where minimizing execution time is critical. This paper underscores the potential of RSO as a viable and innovative solution for Test Case Prioritization, offering software developers and testers a valuable tool for enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of software testing processes.

In this paper, the multi-channel high-frequency resonant MEMS sensor, which can measure the concentration of microplastics while classifying their sizes, is proposed. The MEMS filter with multiple reservoir channels fabricated through the in-house MEMS process sorts microplastics injected through the microfluidic channel by size and accumulates them in the reservoir. The microwave resonant sensor, used to measure the concentration of size-classified and accumulated microplastics, is applied the CMSRR structure to achieve notch frequency shift sensitivity based on their concentration. The classification characteristic of the multi-channel MEMS filter was verified through experiments using the microplastics dispersion. The performance of microwave resonant sensor was simulated through the commercial simulation tool.

In many modern video games, NPCs often remain unfazed while surrounded by a hail of bullets. The unrealistic behaviors exhibited by game agents can distract from player engagement and have become a significant concern with the recent integration of language models. To address the issue, this paper introduces a conceptual framework (FedNPC) based on centralized Federated Learning, with the objective of enhancing the integrated large language model by enabling NPCs to generate context-appropriate responses through learning from user interactions. This framework takes into account the virtual knowledge of the game and the unique characteristics of individual agents, facilitating model improvement, NPC personalization, and minimizing the impact of undesirable agent removal. The proposed framework is highly practical for implementation and offers valuable insights for industrial practitioners to utilize Federated Learning in game production. Additionally, this research work demonstrates an innovative application of Federated Learning in game development and large language model fine-tuning, highlighting numerous opportunities for further research in this domain.

The Middle 40 Per Cent (M40) demographic comprises a substantial proportion of Malaysia’s consumer base, comprising the median 40% of income earners. This group is a big part of the country’s customer base. The rising cost of living, flat wage growth, and rising family debt make this group especially vulnerable to financial instability. Given these economic pressures, predicting the possibility of bankruptcy in this population is becoming increasingly crucial to allow for early intervention and preventive actions. Support Vector Machines (SVM) are recognized for their efficacy in classification tasks, particularly with small or imbalanced datasets. SVM prediction will be utilized using 14694 samples of the Debt Management Program (DMP) dataset from 2016 to 2020. Twenty-three (23) features will be implemented on the dataset and Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) to improve the imbalanced datasets. The experiment demonstrates that the SVM classifier obtained 91.1% accuracy when implementing PUK kernels. It suggests that SVM is a plausible alternative model for predicting personal bankruptcy in the M40 group. To anticipate personal bankruptcy for M40, additional prediction models will be evaluated in the future.

This study focuses on optimizing circuit movement within the production line of Yazaki Corporation’s subsidiary by implementing a digital Kanban system. Traditional manual Kanban processes at the company suffered from inefficiencies, such as frequent Kanban card losses and extended lead times, which disrupted production targets. A digital Kanban web application was developed to address these issues, incorporating real-time tracking, QR code scanning, and thermal printing to enhance material flow monitoring and control. Performance testing was conducted using request timing metrics and page load testing, with five trials performed for each method. The results were validated using Google Lighthouse, demonstrating the system’s ability to improve efficiency by significantly reducing page load times and request processing delays. A comparative analysis of old versus new master data revealed a 48% efficiency gain in Final Assembly and a 66% improvement in Pre-Assembly processing time, leading to an overall reduction of more than 50% in processing time across the production workflow. This improvement contributed to a 42.35% decrease in total production time, significantly enhancing the efficiency of circuit movement processes and enabling faster achievement of production targets. These findings highlight the critical role of the digital Kanban system, mainly its front-end, in optimizing circuit movement and achieving operational excellence within complex production environments.

This study presents a comprehensive techno-economic planning of a rural distribution system utilizing Elephant Herd Optimization (EHO). The study considers the IEEE-33 bus distribution system with grid outages replicating the conditions prevalent in remote regions. The multi-objective formulated problem is solved using the EHO technique in MATLAB to achieve the optimal sizing and placement for distributed energy resources (DERs). The planning objective aims to minimize the net present cost (NPC), energy not supplied (ENS), loss of load expectation (LOLE), and line losses. The results show that line losses are reduced by 56.2%, whereas ENS and LOLE are reduced by 99.64% and 99.56%, respectively. Moreover, the minimum voltage magnitude has been improved from 0.88 p.u. to 0.95 p.u. The insights gained from this study can help decision-makers make informed decisions on deploying energy infrastructure in remote regions while considering economic and technical aspects of power distribution system planning.

The projection of electricity demand in Malaysia is expected to grow up to approximately from $18,808 \mathrm{MW}$ to $\mathbf{2 4, 0 5 0 M W}$ by 2039. Reliability and efficiency of the grid are key to fulfilling the projected demand. As land acquisition is becoming more expensive and difficult, enhancement of existing infrastructure towards supporting this cause by means of increased capacity is inevitable. In line with the country’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiative, the responsibility towards limiting/ preventing deforestation via the use of existing transmission towers and right-of-way, as practicable possible, renders the need in the implementation of HTLS conductor. HTLS implementation for uprating or upgrading projects does not only reduce overall development time and cost, but as well care for the environment, create aesthetic, and minimizing social impacts by reducing the number of structures involved in parallel transmission lines traversing along the same route, for the benefit of sharing the right of way The impact may vary for urban and sub-urban areas when compared to remote areas. HTLS conductor could play the role to lower the sag in emergency situations whereby to improve the electrical clearance to avoid power disruption during peak load. Material used in HTLS conductor gives it the advantage of higher current capacity at relatively lower sag, in comparison to the conventional ACSR conductor. This benefit drives the uprating of power lines work and hence towards achieving the ESG goal. The journey and experience in evaluating the HTLS conductors in the peninsular Malaysia is described in this paper. The benefit and the challenge of the process is also discussed. Analyzing changes in gait patterns is a common method for evaluating injury severity and progression during rehabilitation, including in rats with contusion spinal cord injury (SCI). This study aims to examine the correlation between gait parameters and locomotor speed in rats with contusion SCI using a newly developed walkway system. Thirteen female Wistar rats (7 uninjured and 6 injured) were selected for this experiment. All of them walked through a walkway and a camera below the walkway recorded their motion. Their gait and speed data were analyzed to provide insights into post-injury locomotion. The system output shows that injured rats exhibit slower speeds, shorter stride lengths, and wider stance widths compared to the uninjured, proving that their gait and speed of the injured rats were altered due to the injury. Additionally, Pearson correlation analysis revealed a strong positive correlation $(r=0.746)$ between speed and stride length for uninjured rats, while injured rats showed a moderate correlation (r $=0.471$). Furthermore, stance width demonstrated a moderate negative correlation with speed for both uninjured $(r=-0.503)$ and injured rats $(r=-0.488)$. These relationships, although not statistically significant due to sample size limitations, suggest meaningful trends and provide a foundation for future research where the relationship between the speed and gait parameters can be used to further justify the condition of SCI in rats. Future studies with larger sample sizes might strengthen these findings and clarify the role of speed-related gait changes in SCI rehabilitation process.
