This paper presents an unknown input observerdesign method for a class of nonlinear systems in the presence of disturbances in both the systems dynamics and the output. The main motivation of this work is to develop a state estimator for PEM-Fuel Cell Stack systems. More precisely, the paper addresses the observation issue of the main variables of the fuel cell systems that are the compressor speed, the supply manifold pressure, the mass of the gas accumulated in the supply manifold volume, the partial pressure of oxygen and the partial pressure of nitrogen in the cathode channel. The proposed approach considers the current as an unknown input and uses the air flow rate through the compressor and the total pressure as measurements. By means of regular transformations, the Jacobian of the nonlinear functions and the convexity principle, the observerdesign problem is turned into a LMI feasibility problem. Simulation results with a refined model show the good convergence properties of the observer.

An adaptive output feedback control scheme is proposed for a class of non-affine nonlinear system in which the output signal can track the reference signal. A state observer is constructed to estimate the unknown state in system. A Three-Layer Neural Network is introduced to compensate the modeling errors and a Robust control is also used to reduce the approximation error, which adds to the anti-interference ability of the system. The stability of the system is accurately proved. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of proposed scheme.

The aim of this paper is to present a new method of designing a bilinear robust controller in a nonlinear system. This is an alternative and advanced method to control a shaking system with a heavy mass showing troublesome nonlinear effects. For this design procedure, a Keel driven by a hydro-rotating driver is given. As the first step, the keel is physically modeled with a number of the limited masses, and based on a physical model the dynamic mathematical model is derived using the finite element method in respect to the Hamilton principle;thus, the system is represented by various subsystems. This is a reference system for the given physical system. Based on a physical model for rotating and transit behavior induced from movement phenomena measured at the bearings on the driver. Then the system is transformed into the bilinear system and based on this system, an bilinear elementary observer is designed to control the behavior of the keel in a yacht. The information for the given system are the measurements of the torque in the driver, velocity and fluid in the valves.

Results with limits are given for attitude correction against reference attitudes, set for maintaining the hover. This paper proposes a model-based observer, which allows for the monitoring of the partial pressures of hydrogen, oxygen assuming that the water vapor during transient fuel cell operation is known. This information can be used to regulate the supply of these gases to the cell whereby maintaining efficient performance. It is not practical to measure the partial pressures of each gas in the catalyst layer;however, it is possible to estimate the vapor pressure in the anode and cathode compartments from the temperature measurements. From this information, the partial pressure of the hydrogen and oxygen can be reconstructed using the fuel-cell model.

We are considering the problem of state observation for in series resonant converters (SRC). This is a crucial issue in SRC output voltage control because the control model is nonlinear and involves nonphysical state variables, namely real and imaginary parts of complex electrical variables. A high gain observer is designed that ensures global exponential convergence of state estimates to their true values. The observerdesign involves no resolution of complex dynamical or algebraic equation. The global and exponential features of state estimate convergence make the observer utilizable in control.

This paper proposes a new adaptive fuzzy active disturbance rejection controldesign technique on permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). Fuzzy logic control is applied to adjust the proportional coefficient of nonlinear proportional error control (NLPE). The extended state observer (ESO) is used to track and estimate the uncertainty of PMSM system including unmodeled dynamics, load disturbances and parameter perturbations. The control variable put into system can be obtained through subtracting the estimator of ESO from the output of NLSEF adjusted online by using fuzzy logic control and. The simulation results show that the proposed control strategy operates robustly under modeling uncertainty and external disturbances and has good dynamic performance.
