The paper deals with the problem of landing a helicopter on a moving platform in difficult weather conditions. The article presents a study of the possibility of automatic determination of coordinates, using antennas located on the blades of a helicopter propeller, relative to the landing site where the radio signal sources are located. This arrangement of the antennas when moving in space allows you to measure the distance to the source of the radio signal due to the Doppler shift of the signal frequency. The implementation of such a system can make it possible to solve the most complex aviation tasks to ensure navigation during takeoff/landing in difficult weather conditions, as well as during search and rescue operations. Such a technical solution allows you to get the direction of the radiation source of the radio signal, as well as the range to it with high accuracy.

The methods of mathematical modeling of the cumulative sums algorithm in the problems of detecting signals with a random moment of occurrence in non-Gaussian noise are considered. The probability of false alarm errors and correct detection of imbalance based on the statistical characteristics of the algorithm of cumulative sums obtained by modeling real processes is calculated. An experimental distribution of the cumulative sum in state of imbalance at a current step for detection without reflecting or absorbing screens is obtained. A linear dependence between the means of the cumulative sum taken in separate sections is determined. Based on modeling real processes, the probability of correct detection and false alarm under the influence of non-Gaussian noise with a bimodal distribution is calculated. Effectiveness of cumulative sums algorithm both consistent and inconsistent with the density of the probability distribution of influencing noise is compared.

Fiber-optic communication lines are the basis of telecommunication networks. If at the initial stage of the development of optical communication FOCLs were laid only on transport networks, then as this type of communication develops, there is a transition to fiber-optic technology in intra-facility, including on-board systems. Today, the demand for traffic transmission is constantly growing, which leads to an increase in the amount and speed of transmitted information. Fiber outages result in poor communications, disrupt business processes, backorders, and dissatisfied customers. Even small communication downtime causes huge losses. The introduction of service quality categories will simplify the operation of transport systems and increase the economic efficiency of communication networks. However, this requires significant capital expenditures and annual operating costs, which do not always pay off by avoiding fiber downtime. A method for assessing the effectiveness of the use of a service level agreement (SLA) between an operator of a fiber-optic communication line (FOCL) and consumers of communication services is proposed. The net present value (NPV) is used as an indicator of efficiency; probabilistic characteristics are introduced. The calculation results and their brief analysis are presented.

The article deals with the problems associated with servicing the population in the field of solid municipal waste removal from garbage containers/bunkers. The authors propose a concept for the development of a software and hardware complex consisting of a device for collecting, processing and transmitting information, which is equipped with garbage containers / bunkers, and special software that uses the transmitted information. The device proposed by the authors is equipped with sensors of filling, smell, location, which allows operators for the removal and disposal of waste to optimize logistics activities due to the timeliness of waste removal, minimizing idle runs. The authors have developed an algorithm for constructing a detour route for containers in need of export, which is based on a genetic algorithm, as well as information received from sensors. The approach proposed by the authors will help solve a number of other problems in the field of waste management by controlling the timeliness of their removal.

The world practice of organizing research, testing and certification in the field of intelligent transport systems and autonomous movement shows the need to create research laboratories. The research laboratory and test site complexes are an important link in the development, certification and operation of ITS equipment and services, intelligent road infrastructure designed to support the movement of highly automated vehicles, as well as in the development of regulatory and technical requirements at the stage of research experiments. The presence of a sufficient set of research laboratory and testing facilities is the most important key to the development of technical progress. The creation of mobile research laboratories is necessary for the optimal solution of problems arising both at the stages of scientific justification and design and at the stages of construction and operation of ITS projects.

A method of the antenna array far-field Radiation Pattern (RP) measurement is considered. This method is designed for the usage with the receiving Digital Beamforming Antenna Arrays (DBAA). Such type of antenna arrays typically does not have a radiofrequency output. Hence, the standard methods of the RP measurement, based on the radiation and the reception of the monochromatic probing signal, cannot be used for the DBAA RP measurement. The proposed method assumes the radiation of a probing signal modulated by a pseudo-noise sequence and the base-band processing of the DBAA output signal by means of a matched filter or a correlator. The paper presents the description of the measurement setup and the mathematical explanation of the measuring procedure. It has been shown that the accuracy of the RP measurement depends on the Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) at the outputs of the DBAA channel receivers, the number of the array channels and the number of the pseudo-noise sequence symbols. The accuracy increases on 3 dB each time as the number of the array antennas or the pseudo-noise sequence symbols is doubled. This result is confirmed by the simulation of the RP measurement of the eight and the sixteen channel linear antenna arrays with the usage of the maximum length pseudo-noise sequence of 1023 and 2047 symbols.

The paper studies the process of folding the spectrum of a bandpass signal as a result of uniform sub-Nyquist sampling. Most publications on bandpass sampling consider optimal sampling to avoid aliasing. This article takes into account the possibility of aliasing of an arbitrary degree. The knowledge gained in this area is necessary for use in the study of multi-channel multi-frequency sampling, which provides the ability to restore a bandpass signal distorted by aliasing in channels. To make it possible to study the consequences of sub-Nyquist sampling at any ratio of sampling frequency and signal spectrum width and at any position of the signal on the frequency axis, at any degree of aliasing. Research is carried out on a plane whose axes are the lower bounding frequency of the signal band and the frequency itself. It is shown that the structure of this plane is a periodic continuation along both axes of a certain pattern. Therefore, it is enough to limit ourselves to studying only this pattern. The paper provides a structural analysis of this pattern and derives expressions that allow one to understand the consequences of sub-Nyquist uniform sampling for any of its parameters.

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) are actively used to solve various problems: monitoring the earth's surface, delivering goods, relaying signals, special military tasks, etc. A feature of UAV monitoring of the earth's surface is the need to transmit the video stream recorded by the on-board optical-electronic system of the device to a ground control point in real time. To transmit high-quality video, a radio channel with high information transmission speed is required. The construction of such communication channels is possible through the use of signals with complex signal-code structures. One of the ways to increase the efficiency of information transmission and construct complex signal-code structures is to use the method of expanding the signal spectrum. This article discusses the option of building a communication channel with medium-range unmanned aerial vehicles based on direct sequence spread spectrum (DSSS) signals. It has been shown that it is possible to build a communication channel with a UAV with a speed of up to 150 Mbit/s on a range of more than 100 km when using not very long pseudorandom sequence (PRS). The use of longer PRS will significantly reduce the communication range, but will significantly increase the energy secrecy of the channel, which is important for special-purpose UAVs.

The growing popularity and use of the wireless Internet of Things and cyber-physical systems increase the demand for "green" technologies in the field of mobile telecommunications. To be completely wireless, such devices need an integrated RF energy harvesting system that ensures efficient recharging of the batteries and accumulators used in them. This article provides an assessment of the coverage areas of mobile operators in Moscow and the Moscow region by the frequency ranges used, taking into account the power distribution. An experimental study of the RF-field strength of telecommunication equipment was carried out using a log periodic antenna (KM6-600/6000) with linear polarization and a portable spectrum analyzer with an Arinst SSA-TG R2 tracking generator. The results of attenuation of electromagnetic waves of GSM and Wi-Fi bands under various environmental conditions are obtained, which is of interest for the development of effective intelligent harvesting systems.
