signals properties comparative analysis is carried out for ultra-wideband pulse radar probing signals, which have equal spatial resolution and duration, but differ by presence or absence of high frequency filling. The broadband factor is used, defined as the relation of the probing signal bandwidth to its spectrum average frequency. Signal-to-noise and signal-to-passive interference ratios dependences on the broadband coefficient are obtained. It is shown that for the same antenna system aperture, dimensions and radiation power, the signal-to-noise ratio in a radar with a radio-pulse probing signal will be higher. That benefit is inversely proportional to the broadband factor square. Assuming that the passive interference level is proportional to the selection element area, its estimation is obtained. It is shown that when the spectral bands of ultrashort video and radio pulse probing signals are equal, the pulse with high-frequency filling has an advantage, in terms of the considered parameters.

The paper provides an overview of the empirical model for the study of meaningful integral assessments of residents of a European city in segment of intelligent transport system. It also provides details about theoretical base and practical basis of social life of modern society. In various countries, implementation of an intelligent transport system makes it possible to solve a variety of new and relevant developments for regulation of traffic flows, ensures a high level of safety for road users and competence regarding traffic situation. The development of a road safety system, improvement of services, comfort and advantages of passenger transportation is a considerable issue in implementing new transport technologies into social life. There is a direct interrelationship with key projects and proposals formulated as part of strategy for digital transformation of European transport industry. In a modern dynamic society, there is a modernization of socioeconomic state of transport directions, deployment of modern transport lines and roads, improvement of transport communications. Moreover, there are many other issues of functioning of intelligent transport systems. Most modern megacities are developing original projects in field of intelligent transport systems, as well as putting into practice technologies for improving road safety, artificial intelligence, communication and computer technologies, corporate portals, mobile devices - everything that is relevant in today's digital society and can be significant in the future. The paper proposes a tool for studying preferences in field of intelligent transport systems.

The number of electronic and service devices using GPS/Glonass/Beidow/Galileo receiver location data is continuously increasing in the modern world. This process can be attributed to the ever-decreasing cost of the elemental base, as well as the improvement of distribution and logistics problems due to accurate knowledge of object coordinates. Mass production of receivers of global navigation systems (GNS), as well as any other electronic devices, is critical to the cost of electronic components included in it. The proposed article is devoted to the study of the possibility of replacing the antenna of GNS receivers with elements of the topology of the printed circuit board of the third-party electronic device.

The article presents 2 methods for calculating the losses in the propagation of the radio signal of the tropospheric horizontal line. The key topic is the consideration and comparison of the described methods in Russian literature by scientists *** and *** and comparing them with the ITU international recommendation calculations. The presented calculations are valid for propagation paths of a radio signal with frequencies from 30 MHz and for distances up to 700 km. The article mentions the main signal transmission mechanisms used through the troposphere.

In this paper the DOA estimation of Wi-Fi signals is consider based on their cyclostationarity property due to the digital modulation. The cyclic autocorrelation and complementary cyclic autocorrelation characteristics are shown for various modulation types used in 802.11 a/b/g standards. The simulations and experimental investigation results are presented.

Ultra-narrow pulses serve as critical components in numerous applications. These pulses have ultra-fast leading edges that typically function as precision trigger signals to synchronize various instruments. Ultra-narrow pulses inherently exhibit an ultra-wide bandwidth, gaining significant attention in diverse electronic systems encompassing communications, radar imaging, electronic warfare, and others. Although several techniques have been explored for generating ultra-narrow pulses, field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) offer a promising alternative in terms of flexibility and integration. This study introduces a scalable delay pulse synchronizer method with a resolution of 23 ps. A programmable, successive, narrow pulse sequence operating at a 1-GHz repetition frequency is implemented within a monolithic FPGA. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated using an existing board with a general commercial FPGA in the laboratory. This new method presents a convenient and efficient approach of achieving ultra-narrow pulse synchronization, being applicable across various fields.

The article provides an analysis of new code structures of maximum length obtained from rows of quasi-orthogonal matrices. Codes of maximum length (m-sequences, codes constructed on the basis of Legendre symbols or quadratic residues, codes generated on the basis of Jacobi symbols and others) have the potential to be widely used both in remote sensing radar systems and in noise-immune and noise-proof systems high-speed communications as a replacement for widely used Barker codes. The questions of searching and researching new noise-resistant codes constructed on the basis of persymmetric circulants are considered. Comparison of performance ratings obtained with the new code sequences is given. The advantages of the codes obtained in the work are discussed in the aspects of increasing the correlation characteristics, their detection, and noise immunity in the radio channels of distributed systems. Since these codes have potential applications in radar, not only the correlation properties (autocorrelation and periodic correlation function) are considered, as for communication systems, but also the ambiguity function, which takes into account not only the correlation of signals in time, but also in frequency. The results show the possibility for their use in distributed location systems, not only in the case of remote sensing of the earth, but also in the field of application of the transmission of generated signals to points of joint information processing.

In digital transmission lines with quadrature amplitude modulation of signals the information is contained in the change in the amplitude and phase transmission of the signal. Therefore, in comparison with other types of modulation, there are more stringent requirements for the level of phase noise of the signal at the input of the QAM-signal demodulator, leading to a decrease in the reliability of reception. This article will consider the requirements for short-term frequency stability of synthesizers of transmission lines, which use signals of multi-position quadrature-amplitude modulation in conjunction with quasi-coherent reception of these signals. The carrier is extracted on the receiving side directly from the received QAM-signal using a carrier recovery device by demodulating the received signal and then its subsequent narrow-band filtration. As a narrow-band tunable filter, an auto-tuning frequency switching system is used. With the improvement in the filtering quality of the demodulated signal, the phase fluctuations of the restored carrier associated with the action of additive noise are reduced, the energy losses of the applied quasi-coherent reception are reduced in comparison with the ideal one, which requires the complete absence of the phase error of the selected reference signal. The approximation of the noise immunity of real coherent QAM-signal demodulators to the theoretical one limits the phase noise of the signal at the input of the demodulator associated with the imperfection of the frequency synthesizers on the transmitting and receiving sides of digital communication lines.

The article proposes a computationally effective scheme of the dispersion distortions compensation device, based on a filter bank using the Farrow filter. The possibility of constructing a tracking compensator for dispersion distortions of broadband signals when transmitting them through the ionospheric channel is considered. The tracking compensator allows the estimation of dispersion distortions and their compensation. The results of simulation of the proposed algorithms are presented: the obtained estimate and the true value of the frequency dispersion parameters.
