Currently, there is a tendency to increase the speed of information transmission by increasing used frequency band. However, when switching to broadband signals and operating under conditions of a high level of noise, a wide dynamic range is required when digitizing the received signal. To increase the dynamic range, it is proposed to use a hybrid filter bank, which allows processing the broadband signal with low-speed precision analog-to-digital converters. In this paper, was calculated and simulated a hybrid analysis-synthesis filter bank for the 26.25 MHz-86.25 MHz frequency range. Using matched filters, we estimated the distortion of a linearly frequency-modulated signal during the passage of filter banks without intermediate processing, after upsampling and downsampling intermediate signals from the outputs of analog filters. To reduce phase shifts and time delays arising during signal processing by synthesis filters, compensation delays and phase shifts were introduced, adjusted to distortions carried by the processing system. It was shown that phase correction allows reducing signal distortions. It was also shown that in the case of receiving a mixture of signal and noise, the distortion introduced by the processing system does not significantly affect the signal-to-noise ratio of the output signal.

This article examines the safety structure of highly automated vehicles (HAV), substantiates the problems of assessing and ensuring the safety of automated driving systems. It presents the main initiative groups at the international level engaged in the development of a safety regulation system for highly automated and autonomous vehicles. The main international standards that currently exist and those, that develop and can potentially serve as a basis for a safety regulation system development for highly automated and autonomous vehicles, are considered and analyzed in the article. The aspects of an integrated approach for the development of a safety regulation system of HAVs are formulated. © 2022 IEEE.

Urban passenger transport is currently considered by the administrations of large cities and megalopolises as the main tool for improving the difficult transport situation that has arisen due to the uncontrolled increase in the level of automation of the population. The problem, in this case, is the need to dramatically improve the quality of public transport services, by improving the regularity of vehicles on a schedule. This article discusses a bus driver assistance system that provides automatic control of a passenger vehicle movement on a schedule. As a driver assistance system, an intelligent telematic controller based on the fuzzy logic technique, discussed in this article. © 2022 IEEE.

Object of consideration - asynchronous-address systems, using code division of channels. A subject of the analysis - the quasi-orthogonal signals ensembles based on the Gold sequences providing reliable division of channels at influence of imitation interference, signal-like noises and devices of their processing. The purpose of the analysis is to optimize the structure of the Gold sequences ensemble and to estimate the noise immunity characteristics of the delay acquisition devices. The solution is based on the principles and mathematical models developed by authors: the principle of the fast conversions in Galois fields, algebraic model of representation and structure of fast delay acquisition devices for a subclass of the sequences based on the Gold sequences. This article is devoted to create of models to mapping the original Gold sequences in the aggregate of short M-sequences, searching for conditions for their joint adaptive processing, as well as evaluating the characteristics of the decision making reliability. Key features of the described method of processing are implementation of correlation reception of set of synchronized short sequences samples having identical structure with accumulation of symbols from multiple copies of short sequences received from initial Gold sequence. It is shown that the proposed mapping models, together with offered delay acquisition devices, provide a high level of device adaptation to changes in the signal structure over a wide range. The offered versions of the scheme of delay acquisition carry out reception and preprocessing of code sequences in real time that favorably distinguishes them from the known schemes, which are carrying out fast conversions by other methods. Presented results will be useful to the specialists who are engaged in design of the asynchronous-address systems using aggregate signals with large base and changeable structure for ensuring protection against influence of signal-like noises.

Due to the increased popularity of distributed registry technology applications on the Internet, each of which uses network resources in different ways, has different characteristics and service requirements, there are the problem of impact of this technology to the network characteristics and how does the technology affect the network. In this article, the authors introduce a definition of the term blockchain, describe the services implemented by this technology and its scope. The authors identify the main technical characteristics and their features associated with transfer of information through the network. The authors explain how does the blockchain technology work and block structure. The authors indicate basic features of the network required for guarantee quality of service during provision and transfer for different type of traffic, determine the network scheme working with blockchain transactions and the dependence of network characteristics on application parameters. Authors show different classes of traffic priority, based on the requirements and behavior of certain types of applications, allowing maximum flexibility in the transmission of user information.

One of the tasks arising in the design of on-board information control systems is the construction of a communication network for data transmission between its components. The most important indicator of the quality of functioning of the information and computer network is the delivery time of the transmitted messages, the duration of which should not exceed the specified limits. The paper considers mathematical models of communication networks of on-board information systems using the mathematical apparatus of the queuing theory. The model bases on the assumption that the network uses the Ethernet standard and the parameters of the input streams and the time of the streams may have different distributions. A model of the transmission medium of the onboard information system and a model of the on-board server in the form of an open queuing network was developed. The use of specialized software for calculating the probabilistic and temporal characteristics of such networks makes it possible to determine not only their average values, but also maximum values, which may exceeded only for a small-predetermined proportion of all requests entering the network. © 2022 IEEE.

The paper provides an overview of barcode technology, describing the milestones of the technology evolution, with brief history outlines, depicting main points of barcode systems and highlighting emerging technologies having affected the way towards development of modern access codes. The underlined principles of QR are presented via code operations performed by example of a relatively simple code model widely known as Micro QR Model 1. The practical result obtained in the research was a simple application developed, which encodes a short piece of information into images according to the principle of Micro 1 model QR coding. Python-based encoder and decoder securely generating and processing Micro-1 codes was created. An essential part of the application code, application interface and a security block request are presented in the paper. © 2022 IEEE.

In this work, the development and research of the method and means of technical diagnostics of electronic equipment of the on-board monitoring, measuring and regulating temperature systems with thermocouple sensors according to fractional power spectra of signals were performed. The physical processes that cause typical malfunctions of low-frequency onboard electronic equipment with thermocouple sensors are investigated. Peculiarities of non-harmonic spectral analysis of signals and diagnostics of low-frequency electronic equipment of on-board systems for monitoring, measuring and regulating temperatures systems by fractional power spectra of signals are considered. © 2020 IEEE.

This work is concerned with application of earlier on developed an alternative method for simulation of piecewise regular multimode fiber optic links operating in a few-mode regime for computation of laser-excited optical pulse dynamics during its propagation over irregular silica graded-index multimode optical fibers (MMFs) with extremely large core diameter. Proposed model is based on the piecewise regular representation, and it takes into account launching conditions, differential mode delay, both lower-and higher-order mode chromatic dispersion, differential mode attenuation, mode mixing and power diffusion occurring due to real fiber irregularity and micro- and macro-bends. We present some results of simulation 10GBase-LX optical signal transmission over 100-mu m-core MMFs graded-index refractive index profile corresponding to the typical laser-optimized MMFs 50/125 of ISO/IEC Cat. OM2+/OM3 scaled up to 100 mu m core.

The author invites readers to consider some very unusual methods of calculations that he performed while solving the problem of analytic continuation of the Riemann function containing the critical strip inside of which there is an infinite set of nontrivial zeros of function by B. Rieman's hypothesis. Similar methods are used by the author when studying the properties of the generating function of Hermite polynomials with a nonnegative integer exponent. © 2020 IEEE.
