A mathematical model of mobile web service for booking а parking spaces in parking lots has been developed. It is assumed that web service operators receive requests of different priorities. First of all, the possibility of providing a place in the nearest parking lot for the vehicle is considered. The request is granted if, after accepting the request, there is free parking space in the parking lot that is not less than the amount reserved for requests of higher priorities. Delays occur when there is not enough free parking space or when there are no free operators. In the case of refusal to provide a parking space, the request goes to another parking lot, etc. The model is a queue system with the discipline of sharing capacity of serving devices. A simulation model has been created to estimate the performing time of booking requests. A numerical example and the results of a simulation experiment are given. © 2023 IEEE.

In modern times, cyber attacks are one of the main business problems. Classical protection only by an antivirus program and a firewall over the past ten years have been recognized as insufficient and incapable of providing reliable information protection. Intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) are the next step in the development of network protection systems. The purpose of this article is to introduce the developed intrusion detection system (IDS) based on anomalies, capable of quickly detecting and classifying various attacks. The proposed IDS uses a backpropagation multilayer perceptron to study system behavior. The training of the system was based on the UNSW-NB-15 dataset and the results are consistent with the results obtained. © 2022 IEEE.

One of the tasks arising in the design of on-board information control systems is the construction of a communication network for data transmission between its components. The most important indicator of the quality of functioning of the information and computer network is the delivery time of the transmitted messages, the duration of which should not exceed the specified limits. The paper considers mathematical models of communication networks of on-board information systems using the mathematical apparatus of the queuing theory. The model bases on the assumption that the network uses the Ethernet standard and the parameters of the input streams and the time of the streams may have different distributions. A model of the transmission medium of the onboard information system and a model of the on-board server in the form of an open queuing network was developed. The use of specialized software for calculating the probabilistic and temporal characteristics of such networks makes it possible to determine not only their average values, but also maximum values, which may exceeded only for a small-predetermined proportion of all requests entering the network. © 2022 IEEE.

This article describes the design of a multiphase pulse width modulation (PWM) signal generator model for use in a high-performance class D switching amplifier. Sigma-delta modulation (SDM) is used for additional mathematical processing. In this article architecture of proposed generator model and operation principles of each block are described. The influence of the order of the SDM and the number of phases of the multiphase PWM on the characteristics of the signal at the amplifier output using the developed model is investigated. It also considers the relationship between the clock frequencies of individual blocks, depending on the sampling rate of the input digital signal. © 2022 IEEE.

This work deals with the development of translating text into sign language for communication with passengers with impaired hearing perception onboard an aircraft or vessel. A review of existing research is presented, usually aimed at establishing correspondence between different speech formats in specific languages. The analysis of the existing systems of sign language translation is carried out, their advantages and disadvantages are determined. A mathematical model is presented that describes the process of translating text into sign language, invariant with respect to the language used. The technical requirements for the system of such a translation are formulated, the optimal implementation tools are described, and the corresponding semantic analysis is carried out based on the previously presented mathematical model. © 2022 IEEE.

This article contains main results of work on improving the method of testing the on-board electrical complex of passenger cars for noise immunity to electromagnetic influences in various frequency ranges by the most common methods. The need for electromagnetic compatibility tests is determined by the influence of electromagnetic radiation, depending on its characteristics. During testing by exposure to electromagnetic radiation, the initial calibration of the acting electromagnetic field is provided for by frequency and duration, which is closest to the operating conditions of vehicles. The issues of the influence of direct and reflected electromagnetic radiation, their registration during testing, and ways to improve the noise immunity of electrical equipment of cars by using various materials, including radio-absorbing coatings, are also considered. © 2022 IEEE.

FBMC-OQAM technology is of great interest for communication systems beyond 5G and 6G. Increasing data rate requirements need more flexibility allocation of resources used for channel estimation. In this work, an extension of the helping pilot symbol generation algorithm for estimating the frequency response of a multipath channel and synchronization in FBMC-OQAM systems for preamble sequences was considered by jointly calculating the helping pilot symbol values. simulation modeling of the described algorithm was carried out to estimate performance of this algorithm and compare it with existing solutions. Also were proposed methods for reducing computational complexity of this algorithm. © 2022 IEEE.

Nowadays composite structures with unusual properties not found in nature called metamaterials are becoming increasingly popular and are widely used in microwave engineering. In this paper, we apply mushroom metamaterials as wide walls of a rectangular waveguide and present modeling results for three different waveguide structures. In the first part of the paper, a computer simulation of a partially dielectric-filled rectangular waveguide with a cross section of 74.14 mm by 34.04 mm is presented. The dielectric plate is placed parallel to the wide wall of the waveguide. In the second part, the dielectric plate in the waveguide is replaced with a magnetic wall made of mushroom metamaterial. In the third part, a waveguide with two magnetic walls is investigated. In the course of modeling, the frequency dependences of the distribution of complex reflection and transmission coefficients, as well as the voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) are obtained for the three designs. © 2023 IEEE.

The realities of modern mobile communications with tangible changes in the needs and expectations of subscribers lead to the need of demodulation algorithms with good noise immunity characteristics and acceptable computational complexity for practical use in systems with large number of antennas (Massive MIMO). The application of a non-Gaussian approximation of the a priori distribution of the estimated parameters for Massive MIMO systems demodulation using the modified Newton method is proposed. A study of a new algorithm was carried out under conditions of a different number of antennas and different types of modulation. The results of studying the noise immunity characteristics of the modified Newton's method are presented, and a comparison is made with the well-known MMSE algorithm, which confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach of non-Gaussian approximation and the modified Newton's method for demodulation in Massive MIMO systems. © 2022 IEEE.

This article discusses the minimization of transient distortions in a system for receiving an ionospheric wave by a phased antenna array with a controlled polarization characteristic. For this, frequency separation of the ordinary and unusual components of the ionospheric wave is performed by receiving on a phased antenna array with a controlled polarization characteristic, as well as methods for optimizing the receiving system using an antenna with a controlled polarization characteristic. To consider the complex trajectories of the electric vector of the wave and the ends of the rotating antenna element, the hodograph of the vector of the ordinary and extraordinary components of the wave was used as an instrument. Optimization can be achieved by minimizing the deviation of the antenna EMF hodograph from the reference one, formed as a result of training a neural network, the resolution of which is quite sufficient to obtain a satisfactory result. © 2022 IEEE.
