Information and communication technologies in the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 are used in all industries. In the context of COVID-19 pandemic and the shift to distance learning, computer hardware and software systems are an effective tool for the successful implementation of the training process in the universities. Virtual laboratories, simulators, test computer systems are the components of the virtual educational environment of the universities. Today these tools contain a specific multimedia element - a virtual robot assistant. Student's interaction with a virtual assistant should be comfortable and provide the successful educational process. The authors examined several aspects of effective student's interaction with the multimedia components of the interface of the computerized learning environment. The results of the conducted experiment can be used by developers of computer virtual laboratories, simulators, experimental research stands, test computer systems, a component of which is a virtual robot assistant, to optimize the processes of educational activities distance learning included. © 2022 IEEE.

The traffic safety of an automatic transport facility is one of the most pressing and interesting problems. The use of neural networks to solve this problem is the most promising development. The problem of constructing the trajectory of a transport object in the event of a dead-end obstacle is described in our article. A model of the control system is proposed, in which the constantly updated information received from the sensors is analyzed. At the same time, it should be noted that this information contradicts some unchanged data that are taken from global sensors. An external object that can change the rules for the movement of vehicles in the current conditions conducts data analysis. Based on the results of this analysis, it is proposed, according to a certain algorithm, to change the route of the autonomous object in accordance with the shortest option for returning to the original trajectory. The article defines a neural network according to the energy function that minimizes the cost of movement and ensures the safety of an autonomous object. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper is dedicated to solving the task of linearization an amplified tract in order to reduce the nonlinear distortions level of amplitude phase shift keying signals with different orders. Wiener model was used as power amplifier (PA). Digital predistortion method based on a memory polynomial model was used as a linearization method. The studies were carried out in MATLAB/Simulink visual programming environment. Evaluation of the efficiency of the realized compensation algorithm was based on the following parameters: Adjacent Channel Power Ratio (ACPR), Error Vector Magnitude (EVM), Amplitude Modulation/Amplitude Modulation (AM/AM) and Amplitude Modulation/Phase Modulation (AM/PM) characteristics, Bit Error Rate (BER) dependence on bit signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Thanks to the inclusion of Digital Predistorter (DPD) in the channel, we were able to achieve significant improvements in all parameters for each modulation case. © 2022 IEEE.

systems that are controlled using natural language must strictly follow the commands given to them. In any voice command, there is both useful information corresponding to this command and extraneous noise. The actuator must separate the command from the noise. If we take a primitive approach to the process of human survival in the world around us, then it depends on the correct response to events, i.e. reaction to external irritation. This reaction is known as a reflex and is presented in two types, unconditional: breathing, swallowing, sucking, pulling the hand away from the cold and conditional: reading, various skills and abilities. Unconditional ones are embedded in our body from birth, and conditional ones we acquire through learning in the course of life, but despite their differences, they are united by one thing - responding to an event. The paper proposes a solution to this problem by determining the semantic proximity of a command issued in a natural language with a digital representation of its ideal. At the first stage, a natural language simulator is its textual representation. © 2022 IEEE.

Data transmission networks are currently one of the important elements for ensuring uninterrupted and reliable daily operations of enterprises, in particular, and the global economy as a whole. Corporate networks can be characterized as one of the most important infrastructures on which the vital activity of society depends, along with transport infrastructure, electric power, etc. In addition, many of these infrastructures depend on each other. A modern corporate network is an information and communications system that unites all functional divisions of an enterprise into a single information space, regardless of their location, to ensure the effective functioning of information infrastructure and business processes. A properly designed and configured network ensures reliable and continuous operation of business processes, as well as user interaction, regardless of where they are located. At the same time, when designing and operating networks, attention is not always paid to such important indicators as sustainability, reliability and survivability, which can lead to extremely negative consequences for both the functioning of the corporate network and the enterprise itself. In this publication, an attempt is made to form a strategy to increase the resilience of corporate networks. © 2022 IEEE.

The LoRaWAN technology specification ensures perfect interoperability between IoT devices without the need for complex local implementations. In addition, it enables the deployment of energy efficient long-range networks with low power consumption. Also, the relatively low cost of solutions based on LoRaWAN standard is also very often a determining factor when choosing a technology for organizing a machine-to-machine communication (M2M) network. However, the mathematical modelling of such systems is quite new direction and there are no concrete results in this field yet. In this paper, the mathematical model of LoRaWAN cell is studied. It appeared as a result of the analysis of the information transmission process in cellular mobile networks, optimized for data transmission. Among them, for example, there are CDMA2000 1xEV-DO standard and its 3GPP analogue of HSDPA. This model allows us to take into account such important LoRaWAN feature like ADR mechanism. The article provides formulas for estimating the main characteristics of the model. The performed numerical experiments confirm the possibility of using the considered methods for the analysis and planning of LoRaWAN networks © 2022 IEEE.

The paper describes digital antenna arrays (DAA) equipped with directional elements for spatial filtering in the azimuthal and elevation planes. In particular, the digital beamforming is investigated for VHF communication channels in the range below 1 GHz, taking into account the occurrence of obstacles in the path of direct propagation. Thus the paper presents the results of simulation of the signal propagation in the VHF range depending on diffraction. It is assumed that a symmetrical dipole is used on the transmitting side, and the Yagi-Uda directional antenna is used on the receiving digital antenna array. The circular and semi-dodecahedral geometries of the arrangement of the elements of the receiving digital antenna array are modeled. The bit error rate is estimated depending on the transmitter power. The Epstein-Peterson method is described in conjunction with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) single knife-edge obstacle model for calculating multiple diffraction losses. The study was conducted for thirteen isolated knife-edge obstacles located along a propagation path of 70 km. © 2022 IEEE.

The few-mode multicore optical fibers efficiency increase task in general concept of multichannel optical fibers is being raised. Multichannel fibers efficiency optimization task is being formulated including optimization in strict and broad terms. Transmission, spatial and structural parameters are being considered. The efficiency improvement approach is being systematized in the concepts of applicability, optimization and adaptivization. The multi-criteria optimization problem is solved by ranking criteria, combining criteria into a generalized scalar target function, finding Pareto-optimal estimates, etc. Due to the complexity of the generalized optimality criteria choice, in the practice of telecommunications, a gradual increase in the technical means efficiency is carried out according to certain particular criteria - optimization in quality. Based on the accepted concept of rational behavior - applicability, optimization and adaptivization, the type of performance indicator is selected. A multichannel optical fiber construction design two-criterion optimization solution example is given. © 2022 IEEE.

The paper considers a loss multi-channel queueing system modeling a cell in a wireless network. The model may be applicable in 4G/5G networks. Calls of different classes are serviced in the cell under a bandwidth sharing algorithm called the multiple fractional channel reservational policy. According to this algorithm, a number of channels is reserved for calls of certain classes. An approach is known to compute an approximate value the loss probabilities for calls of each class. The approach is based on the formulas derived under the assumption that the service time of a call is distributed exponentially. We study by simulation the accuracy of the approach generalization for the case of general service distribution time. We proposes an approximate approach to evaluate the stationary state probabilities, the loss probability and the average number of serviced jobs for First Come First Displaced protocol. We estimate the accuracy of this approach. © 2022 IEEE.

In this paper, the problem of controlling a gas-diesel engine is considered, presented as well as the results of calculation and database establishment for the control unit are discussed. With the help of AVL Boost software, data on the relationship between turbocharger pressure, diesel quantity, and the amount of HHO added to the cycle is created. The amount of HHO gas is injected into the intake manifold from 0 to 40%, and the amount of diesel fuel is reduced to maintain a constant amount of heat supplied into the cycle. The results show that when the ratio of gas HHO in the fuel mixture changes from 0 to 20%, the engine performance decreases slightly (less than 10%) but decreases significantly from 20 to 40% of gas HHO. In addition, the results also present that the amount of soot, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide emissions decreases, at the same time, the amount of nitrogen oxides and hydrocarbon emissions increases with the addition of gas HHO. © 2022 IEEE.
