This article explores and compares different methods for solving the multilateration problem, focusing on closed-form and iterative approaches. Using implementations in C++ with the Eigen library, the study highlights how one closed-form solution surpasses gradient descent in both accuracy and speed-challenging traditional assumptions about the limitations of such methods. The analysis covers a wide range of techniques, evaluating their performance under various conditions, including noise levels and beacon configurations. The findings offer practical insights into the trade-offs between complexity, stability, and precision, helping readers choose the best method for applications like mobile positioning, navigation, and sensor networks.

The article examines the transformation of the teacher's place, role, and functions under the influence of modern pedagogical innovations and cultural and socio-economic processes. Shifts in public expectations regarding higher education, advancements in learning methodologies, and evolving economic and technological environments highlight the importance and significance of a teacher's role within the higher education landscape. The first part of the article explores the technological and socio-cultural processes affecting the modern university. The second part analyzes transformations in the academic profession and pedagogical methods, tools, and formats used in the learning process. Based on the study of the most in-demand teaching practices and educational technologies, the article concludes that there is a significant trend toward changing the fundamental role and significance of the teacher in higher education in the era of neo-struction.

In recent times, there has been a notable increase in the need to shoot videos for social media and video-sharing sites. However, many people complain about the shaking of the camera while shooting videos. To overcome this obstacle, various kinds of stabilization techniques were invented and have helped improve video quality. This work surveys other approaches used to measure the quality of video and proposes a new method to measure the degree of video stabilization. The approach employs color quantization based on the k-means algorithm. It has been tested on various video sequences, motion histograms have been turned out to be a useful tool for measuring the stability of images along with the computed parameters based on them.

When transmitting information over a network via communication devices, the parameters of data transmission efficiency and reliability are of paramount importance. Based on the fact that the operator does not have the ability to control traffic along its entire path from the source to the recipient, it is forced to conduct a preliminary assessment, which should take into account not only the number of senders of messages, but also the types of services that customers want to use, which ultimately leads to an increase in the load on the node. To distribute the load between network nodes, you can use their clustering using Kosarayu and k-means algorithms, each of which has its own strengths and weaknesses. The paper considers the possibility of joint application of these methods.

Modern methods of teaching digital electronics rely on computer modeling which often leads to misunderstanding of some core design principles by students. This article is devoted to organizing classes in digital electronics using breadboard modelling for more evident explanation of main digital circuit development concepts. The article describes the method of organizing a physical model, its internal structure, and operating principle, which is proposed for implementation and subsequent use in laboratory practical for the course “Digital Circuitry.” This model serves as a way to demonstrate to students the fundamental rules of Boolean algebra in practice, as well as an opportunity to assemble various basic digital circuits whose operation is based on the same rules.

The article discusses signals with amplitude-phase modulation used in special-purpose communication networks. A description of the transformation of the structure of spectrally effective radio signals for amplification in nonlinear power amplifiers is given and the element base for its implementation is considered. Simulation of the application of the transformation of the signal structure in the baseband for nonlinear amplification of spectrally effective narrowband radio signals is carried out. © 2021 IEEE.

The progress in the field of radio engineering contributes to extending the term "base". This article analyzes radio engineering specification terminology mainly used in scientific-technical terminology of the Chinese language, describes the scientific-technical language specification at the lexical level, and provides the teaching methodology for terminological vocabulary for radio-engineering students studying Chinese. The analysis focuses on the main specifications of the morphemic structure, pronunciation, semantics, lexical hierarchy, and formation and nominalization mechanisms. It proposes a terminological teaching methodology to implement the basic vocabulary beginning in the first lesson.

The article is devoted to the development of signal-code structures (SCC) for low-energy broadband radio links. The SCC is based on multi-frequency signals with a continuous phase (M-Cpfsk) and non-binary error-correcting codes (Non-binary low-density parity-check and turbo-like). An analysis is made of signal-code structures for bands up to 10 MHz with different parameters. These signal-code structures can be used for command-telemetry radio links from unmanned aerial vehicle (UAVs).

This article presents the development of a traffic flow regulation method based on an adaptive approach that accounts for changing characteristics of traffic conditions. The study explores key reinforcement learning techniques utilizing Q-Learning to enhance traffic management. Simulations of traffic flow control were conducted in the SUMO simulation environment, focusing on cyclic switching methods. The article outlines the implementation of an environment management strategy and the application of reinforcement learning algorithms via the SUMO API. Two reinforcement learning techniques were selected for traffic flow regulation, and extensive training was conducted with various hyperparameters to identify optimal configurations. A comparative analysis of traditional cyclic switching methods and data-driven approaches is provided, highlighting the potential advantages of adaptive methods for improving traffic efficiency and safety in urban environments. The findings suggest that reinforcement learning can significantly enhance traffic management systems in real-time applications.

With the rapid growth of the amount of transmitted information in the network and its continuous increase, the need to optimize not only technologies and hardware and software for data transmission, but also to develop an algorithm for preprocessing information for its value to the end user inevitably increases. This article is devoted to the development of such an algorithm. To do this, the essences of natural language processing will be considered, a study will be conducted and the stages of preparing text data for recognition by a machine will be determined, and calculations performed on the text will be carried out, allowing an extensive analysis of text data for its value and identification of patterns in them.
