At present, an actual task is to increase the throughput of cellular communication systems; in conditions of a limited frequency resource, the only solution is to increase the spectral efficiency of the signals used for data transmission. The signals used in the 5G system are based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing, which for channels with memory requires the use of a cyclic prefix that reduces the spectral efficiency by up to 7% depending on the mode of transmission. In this work, we have developed a model of a data transmission system based on a filterbank multicarrier, which made it possible to exclude the cyclic prefix, and the obtained simulation results showed noise immunity results similar to the existing solution.

Currently, there is a steady trend towards changes in scientific approaches, the formation of new scientific communities, and the development of many innovative areas. In this regard, the issues of developing the research activities of graduate students as future professionals and engines of progress in all fields of science are becoming increasingly relevant. Each specialist should have an idea about the methodology and organization of research activities, about science and its basic concepts. The article considers the methodology for organizing scientific work on the basis of publication department in telecommunications university. The work is aimed at the formation of predictable results, which guarantees the improvement of authors qualifications and ensures a stable increase in the effectiveness of university's research activities.

Today, time synchronization systems that form and transmit time scales with accuracy within tens of ns are becoming increasingly relevant. The basis of such systems are complexes of devices that implement the functions of the master clock. Because since the time scale is not a physical quantity, then in any implementation of this clock, a channel for obtaining data on the UTC time scale is required. Due to various interferences and disturbances in this communication channel, the reliability of the reception of the UTC reference time scale can be violated, which leads to serious errors in the synchronization system and disruptions in the operation of communication networks. This article discusses some mechanisms for ensuring the reliability of data on the time scale formed by the master clocks of time synchronization systems.

Anylogic is a simulation tool that can be used to build up a model of systems of any complexity. One of the advantages of simulation is a wide range of applications for education and training purposes. The development and use of simulation modeling allow students to see and "play out" real processes and situations on the model. With AnyLogic, the animation of a process in a telecommunication system can be created. At the same time it is possible to get diagrams of processes and states of different devices, as well as flowcharts of processes occurring in the systems. It can be used to generate a wide range of lab projects for undergraduate students. The principles of simulation modeling in telecommunication systems with the AnyLogic software are studied at Moscow Technical University of communications and Informatics by students of Infocommunication Technologies and Communication Networks speciality.

In cloud infocommunication systems built using open source components, there is a mismatch in various formats or data structures, which is revealed when maintaning such systems. The article assumes such data formats as YAML, JSON and XML and here is put a hypothesis about the possibility of converting various formats to a single format. Relying on the analysis results of the real data samples from cloud components, three possible options of the structure are proposed. The second hypothesis was to verify the possibility of combining data from several sources. After writing code fragments on Python language and taking experiments an algorithm for transforming the original data was proposed. The proposed algorithm is tested on real data samples and its convergence on a large sample met suitable conditions for the maintenance automation purpose.

The cognitive radio system is a promising solution to the problem of deficit of the radio frequency spectrum. Dynamic spectrum access technology is a key step in the development of these systems. An analysis of the existing methods for predicting the state of the spectrum has shown that it is necessary to solve the problem of long-term forecasting for the effective operation of the dynamic spectrum access technology. The solution of this problem makes it possible to provide this technology with information about the state of occupancy of frequency channels for a long period, thus reducing the probability of interference for the primary user. An algorithm for predicting the spectrum based on neural networks is proposed to solve the problem. The proposed algorithm consists of a technique for generating and preparing input data sets and a recurrent neural network model using a long short-term memory architecture.

The problems associated with the analysis of the structures of software-defined optical networks (SDON) are considered. The aim of the article is to find the main characteristics of the structure of the SDON. The relevance of the work is due to the fact that it is the characteristics of the SDON structures that largely affect the quality of the modern services provided to the subscriber. The basic principles of the analysis of the structure of the SDON are formulated. To achieve this goal, the problems of describing the information structure of the SDON, as well as developing mathematical models for calculating the parameters of data flows in the information structure of the SDON, are solved. The proposed mathematical models make it possible to describe and calculate the characteristics of the information structure of the SDON: the intensity of data flows between network nodes, the load on the nodes and structure-forming network equipment.

The organization of information processes management, as well as information systems of a large retail company, is influenced by many factors. One of the fundamental factors is risk management. The desire to minimize risks is often accompanied by the use of additional methods at the design stage of complex information systems, which will later be used to automate the company's information processes. Management of organizational systems requires automation of many processes to reduce possible errors. The authority criticality matrix allows you to predict risks before the implementation stage. Using this method allows you to maintain a balance of security and efficiency of a complex system, which in the final stage significantly improves its operation and simplifies the management process.

In HF radio links, an actual task is the increase of the used to transmit information signals bandwidth. One of the significant limitations for increasing the signal bandwidth is the effect of dispersion distortions that occurs in the ionospheric channel and appears for signals with a bandwidth of more than 100 kHz. In addition to the initial estimation and compensation of dispersion distortions, an important task is to track the change in the slope of the dispersion characteristic, which characterizes the effect of dispersion distortions. Also, an important problem is evaluation and tracking the change in the phase of the signal, which is relevant for high-speed radio links with high-order modulations. This paper presents a method for synthesizing the optimal filtering algorithm for the slope of the dispersion characteristic and signal phase, and also confirms the efficiency of the proposed method through a computational experiment.
