The article deals with the problems associated with servicing the population in the field of solid municipal waste removal from garbage containers/bunkers. The authors propose a concept for the development of a software and hardware complex consisting of a device for collecting, processing and transmitting information, which is equipped with garbage containers / bunkers, and special software that uses the transmitted information. The device proposed by the authors is equipped with sensors of filling, smell, location, which allows operators for the removal and disposal of waste to optimize logistics activities due to the timeliness of waste removal, minimizing idle runs. The authors have developed an algorithm for constructing a detour route for containers in need of export, which is based on a genetic algorithm, as well as information received from sensors. The approach proposed by the authors will help solve a number of other problems in the field of waste management by controlling the timeliness of their removal.

The article discusses the issues of forecasting the reliability of base stations of cellular communication networks using machine learning algorithms. This task is relevant, as forecasting the reliability of base stations allows timely measures to be taken to prevent equipment failures. For example, replacing the corresponding base station nodes or performing maintenance. All this ensures an increase in QoS in cellular communication systems. An analysis of existing developments in this field has shown that the use of machine learning algorithms is a promising way to predict reliability indicators. The article discusses two of the most popular machine learning algorithms for solving forecasting problems: decision trees and recurrent neural networks. To assess the applicability of these algorithms, a special dataset has been developed that simulates the process of failures in the main elements of the base station: the power supply unit and the RF power amplifier. The simulation results showed high quality forecasting of base station reliability indicators using these algorithms. In particular, the LSTM network provides about 92% accuracy in correctly predicting base station failure.

Few-mode, multicore, and few-mode multicore optical fibers are considered. The concept of multichannel optical fibers (MChF) is introduced. The criterion of fiber channel order is formulated and the spatial-channel classification of optical fibers is being constructed. Analytical expressions for calculating the transfer and spatial parameters of MChF are presented. For variations in the spatial and spectral resource of quartz MChF, the values of capacity and spatial-rate efficiency are determined. © 2021 IEEE.

In this paper we discuss the problem of establishment of estimated parameters limits for on-board radio electronic equipment. An indicator of compliance with a multi-parameter electronic equipment is proposed, based on minimizing the dimension of the vector of parameters that directly determine the objective function, approximating the tolerance region by hyperplanes, taking into account changes in parameters during operation. The correspondence indicator has the form of a hyperparallelepiped, and when assessing the correspondence, both the location of the point of the state space inside the parallelepiped and the distance from the point of the state space to the reference plane (the face of the hyperparallelepiped) can be determined. The example of using the developed indicator for analyzing the movement of an aircraft in an air corridor is proposed. © 2021 IEEE.

At that moment the volume of transmitted data grows according to the exponential law through all available communication channels. In this regard, more and more often this leads to the need to work in data transfer mode at a speed higher than the Nyquist rate. In this article, resolution time theory is used to develop novel approach jitter analysis dependent on the data that contributes to the overall jitter in frequency selective channels with PAM-n-signals. A novel approach has the following features: 1) the computational complexity is sub-exponential in the amount of effective memory; 2) no restrictions associated with the shape of the pulse; 3) strict rule is given for estimating the channel memory when using PAM-n-signals, which does not use the rule of maximum a posterior probability

The article deals with the problem of improving the efficiency of forecasting demand for certain types of goods. The goal of the study is to determine the most effective machine learning method for this forecasting. The relevance of the work is due to the fact that traditional statistical methods for forecasting demand do not provide the ability to process effectively the currently received volumes of information on sales and trade; besides, not all machine learning methods for predicting numerical values are suitable for the subject area under consideration. The object of the study is the arising demand for certain types of goods. The subject of the study is the effectiveness indicators (or metrics) of machine learning methods used to forecast demand for certain types of goods. When analyzing the subject area, mean absolute error, the root mean square error and coefficient of determination were selected as metrics used to evaluate the effectiveness of a particular method. As a result, the most suitable algorithms for the most effective forecast of demand for various types of goods were identified. Finally, conclusions are drawn.

Today LoRa data transmission technology is gaining more and more popularity among Internet devices for collecting information and communication. The main purpose of LoRa technology is to collect simple information in small packets transmitted at a low speed. Information is collected from various sensors and devices located within the range of the main receiver. This technology complements Wi-Fi. It is suitable for applications with a long range, low transmission speed and power consumption. WiFi provides a short range, low speed and power consumption. LoRa technology is constantly being improved, in connection with which monitoring radio networks built on its basis is of current importance for implementation and study (during the educational process). Modeling of radio communication algorithms in LoRa data transmission technology is one of the important research areas for the development of radio networks of this type. In this regard, this paper develops software that generates files of digital readings of the LoRa radio signal quadratures.

In cellular communication systems, the distance from base station to subscriber equipment is limited. In cases where this distance cannot be reduced, it is suggested to introduce a repeater using a location detection method, such as GPS, to increase the range. The distance between the nearest base station and the repeater maybe calculated by determining the coordinates of the repeater and the base station. By increasing the power of both the repeater and the base station transmitters, and changing the time advance, the repeater may be connected to the base station. The connection between the subscriber terminal and the base station is facilitated through the repeater © 2021 IEEE.

The article considers the possibility of applying the principle of unbundling in the thermal calculations of onboard signal processing devices. It is established that when performing such calculations, the problem of large time expenditures inevitably arises, as well as the need for a large number of system resources. The estimation of machine time and system resources costs is made in the case of splitting a General task into a number of subtasks on the principle of unbundling. A method is proposed for moving from lower-level tasks to higher-level tasks, taking into account the docking parameters. Ground handling is part of the work process of any onboard complex. The article presents a model of the process of such service, based on the queuing theory methods. The model based on the assumption that random values describing these processes may have arbitrary distributions, which in turn affects the quality of board service. Differences in the values of quality indicators can reach in the case of different distribution laws, they can differ by an order of magnitude, which can be of significant importance when deciding on the deployment of the next point of on-board service. The fundamental importance has that are investigated not the average values of service quality indicators, but their maximum values, which are guaranteed for a predetermined proportion of the entire flow of boards arriving for service. © 2021 IEEE.
