PowerShell is a widely utilized tool by both system administrators and attackers for performing complex management tasks and launching attacks. The detection of malicious scripts poses a significant cybersecurity challenge due to the use of various obfuscations and the intricacy of analyses. This paper aims to provide a comprehensive overview of state-of-the-art techniques for detecting malicious PowerShell scripts using machine learning. It also discusses the potential integration of these techniques into SIEM (Security information and event management) systems to enhance threat detection. The final section of the paper puts forward a novel approach based on deep neural networks that utilizes a recurrent network architecture with deployed layers. Experimental results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed model in accurately and reliably classifying obfuscated and complex scripts. © 2025 IEEE.

The propagation of a radio signal emitted by a spacecraft through the Earth's ionosphere is considered. The influence of the ionosphere and traveling ionospheric disturbances on the propagation of a radio signal of the decimeter and meter ranges is studied. The following are calculated: deviations of rays from rectilinear propagation, changes in delay time, phase lag, and phase deviation. The total electron concentration and Faraday rotation are calculated in the presence of ionospheric inhomogeneities. The influence of the ionosphere on the absorption of a radio signal, its amplitude, and polarization is analyzed. © 2025 IEEE.

This paper presents a comparative analysis of kinematic model predictions for a 6-DOF KUKA KR4 R600 robot with real measurements of intermediate points (x, y, z) in order to evaluate the accuracy and reliability of the kinematic model under real-world conditions. The kinematic model, which is a fundamental tool in robotics, is used to calculate the position and orientation of the robot end effectors based on joint angles. The results of this analysis can provide valuable insights into potential sources of error and limitations of the kinematic model, as well as provide a basis for future improvements in robot calibration and control. © 2025 IEEE.

When transmitting information over a network via communication devices, the parameters of data transmission efficiency and reliability are of paramount importance. Based on the fact that the operator does not have the ability to control traffic along its entire path from the source to the recipient, it is forced to conduct a preliminary assessment, which should take into account not only the number of senders of messages, but also the types of services that customers want to use, which ultimately leads to an increase in the load on the node. To distribute the load between network nodes, you can use their clustering using Kosarayu and k-means algorithms, each of which has its own strengths and weaknesses. The paper considers the possibility of joint application of these methods. © 2025 IEEE.

The variants of constructing the circulant matrices of any p-ary linear recurrent sequence (LRS) of maximal period on the basis of automorphic multiplicative groups of the extended Galois field constructed by means of an irreducible primitive polynomial, on the basis of which the original p-ary LRS is formed, have been developed. As a result of this approach, new ways of transforming the circulant matrices of p-ary LRSs into the matrix of Vilenkin-Krestenson functions ordered by degrees of the primitive element of the field are revealed. It is shown for the first time that, depending on the initial conditions of the transformation, the set of arbitrary cyclic shifts of the p-ary LRS, shifted by one symbol relative to each other, can be transformed into arbitrary successive rows of the ordered matrix of Vilenkin-Krestenson functions. This fact makes it possible to simplify the algorithm of synchronisation of the p-ary LRS in a known range of its cyclic shifts, especially in the case of large periods of its repetition, and also to reduce the computational complexity of the processing algorithm when working in the truncated basis of the Vilenkin-Krestenson functions. © 2025 IEEE.

The article considers various solutions of tools for monitoring and management of communication network and IT assets. Of the three approaches to a monitoring system, the solution with tight integration of its constituent elements is the most fully considered. The description of the main functions of the system is presented, such as collection, processing and visualisation of traffic data, control and configuration of equipment. The architecture of this system is analysed and the main advantages of monitoring integration into the communication network are revealed. The metrological component of such tools, providing accuracy and reliability of parameters of analysed data, control of equipment technical characteristics and compliance with regulatory requirements, is considered separately. © 2025 IEEE.

Online learning is becoming increasingly popular due to the multitude of amenities and opportunities for the modern student, making education affordable and comfortable. One of the main advantages of online learning is its accessibility: geographical remoteness is no longer an obstacle to obtaining a high-quality education. Students can choose courses without having to move or travel for long periods. However, in order to take full advantage of online learning, it is necessary that the network infrastructure meets expectations and provides access to content and software with minimal delays. This paper examines modern computing network technologies such as content delivery networks, cloud and edge computing, as well as hybrid technologies to improve the performance and scalability of content delivery networks. The advantages of caching and content processing on cloud computing nodes located closer to users are analyzed compared to traditional CDN architectures based on centralized servers. Architectural aspects, implementation challenges, and potential application areas are considered. © 2025 IEEE.

Purpose of this paper is to develop a license plate detection and recognition module optimized to work under constraint of edge computing. Existing methods of license plate recognition are analyzed. Dataset with images of rectangular and square license plates is collected. Detector is trained, methods of processing detected license plate frame and checking combination of symbols are implemented. Pipeline using convolutional recurrent network for character recognition adapted for license plates is developed. Influence of hyperparameters on speed and accuracy of license plate character recognition has been investigated. Experiments have demonstrated obtaining an optimal configuration for module inference with sufficiently high accuracy rates and possibility of operation under conditions of limited computational resources in real time. © 2025 IEEE.

In this article, we explored ways to measure video camera parameters that are important for shooting video of fastmoving objects. Fast-moving objects introduce additional distortions into the video recording if the video camera is not adapted to such an operating mode. Geometric distortions, blurs and incorrect brightness transfer are formed on the video recording. There are several ways to avoid or reduce the negative effects introduced during video shooting. The first is to use a technically more advanced video camera with improved quality properties. The second is to collect additional information during video shooting and use it to restore the original image. For both cases, it is necessary to know the actual parameters of the video camera. The method described in the article is based on the Rolling Shater and Wagon Wheel effects. © 2025 IEEE.
