In this paper, we study the possibilities to significantly reduce the dimensions of the microstrip filters structures on co-directional hairpin resonators and at the same time to increase their frequency selectivity. It is shown that in these structures it is possible to form a large number (P = 2N) of attenuation poles at finite frequencies, which makes it possible to discharge the spurious passband spectrum up to the third harmonic. Moreover, the mechanisms of the formation, splitting, joining, and control of the attenuation poles position on the frequency axis are studied in order to ensure the required attenuation level in specified stopbands. © 2020 IEEE.

The article is devoted to a review of the prospects for the development of the Internet broadcasting as a medium for the distribution of media in the future. In particular, the possibilities of using satellite Internet broadcasting for broadcasting mass communications around the world were examined. It is analyzed how information protection technologies for mass communications on the Internet broadcasting will develop, what will change significantly and where will humanity lead in the coming decades. The possibility of using artificial intelligence and neural networks to combat fake news in the media is considered. The advantages and disadvantages of applying new technologies in mass communications, the feasibility of their implementation and other aspects of their practical application in the near future are compared. Conclusions are drawn about the possibility of using satellite Internet broadcasting and similar solutions being developed as tools for disseminating media and mass communications. © 2020 IEEE.

To achieve high efficiency while amplifying modern signals with a high crest factor, switching operating modes of transistors and synthetic amplification methods are used. The most promising of these are Kahn method (EER-Envelope Elimination and Restoration) and outphasing method. However, these methods have a number of limitations, to overcome which the possibilities of joint simultaneous application of several synthetic methods of radio frequency amplification are considered. To simultaneous application the outphasing method with bridge power combiner and power supply voltage pulse-step modulation, the dependence of average efficiency on number of supply voltage levels is determined. For EER amplifier, minimum required pulse width of PWM modulator is determined depending on the RF bandwidth of amplified signal and its dynamic range. Variants of these characteristics exchange for the number of supply voltage levels are discussed when pulse-step modulation is used together. Directions for further research formulated.

The ways and algorithms for automating the control of computer systems by intelligently analyzing unstructured data from system logs in order to detect and diagnose abnormal states are analyzed. This information is needed by the technical support service to localize the problem and accurately diagnose it. Because of the ever-increasing size of logs, intelligent analysis data models are being used to help developers extract system information. The research was conducted on a network infrastructure consisting of 6 hosts that make up a cluster under Rancher management. Expertly, events that significantly affect the system and are abnormal, related to problems with the passage of traffic on the network, or denial of service. Of the 988 message templates, 81 patterns are marked as abnormal. © 2020 IEEE.

This article uses the previously presented method [1] of joint estimation of range and radial velocity in short-range radars using one ultra-wideband signal with discrete frequency coded waveform (DFCW). The core of the method is the use of the expression of the two-dimensional digital compression function of the output of the radar receiver ADC. The results of the practical implementation of this method are presented in a radar with a generation circuit using a phase-locked loop (PLL) generator, direct digital synthesis generator (DDS) and a quadrature modulator (IQ modulator). The results of the method are compared for signals with linear and pseudo-random frequency codes. The results of the method after using the calibration algorithm are presented. © 2020 IEEE.

Intelligent transportation systems is one of the most popular research topics nowadays. Current IEEE standard is named IEEE 802.11 p. Its further enhancement 802.11 bd are now developed and addressed to eliminating of main 802.11 p drawbacks which are the poor scalability and performance in high mobility scenarios. The third V2X standard is 3GPP-NR-V2X which physical layer parameters is presented within this work. The link-level evaluation of the upcoming vehicular to everything standard NR-V2X is presented in the paper. The throughput measurement has been chosen as the quality parameter. The results compare with the Dedicated Short Range Communication and show that NR V2X outperform DSRC in throughput characteristic.

Modern quality control of speech transmission is based on the use of objective assessment methods. Intrusive methods are the most accurate, but they increase the load on the communication network. This is due to an estimation algorithm using a comparison of the corrupted communication channel and reference speech signals. The presentation of information in the unitary number system has significant redundancy compared to number systems with a larger base. In addition, it is distinguished by the presence of the same repeating characters. This allows information compression based on run length coding to be used. Translation of numbers between number systems, depending on their type, is carried out by the following main methods: direct replacement; sequential division based on the new number system. Hardware translation of numbers from binary to unitary number system is performed using decoders. The reverse hardware translation of numbers from a unitary number system to a binary one is carried out using scramblers. When storing data in unitary code, the required number of bits is determined by the size of the maximum data file and will not increase with the number of saved data files with a smaller size.

The article describes the development and training of a neural network model for recognizing diseases by cardiogram in application to driver support systems. The network is trained on the data set of The China Physiological Signal Challenge 2018, which includes rhythms that indicate conditions in which the driver may lose control of the vehicle. The architecture of the residual neural network was chosen for the study. The network with 7 residual blocks showed an accuracy of 90% or more for six of the seven classes. One of the classes was recognized with 79% accuracy, which is the minimum recognition accuracy for this network. To increase the accuracy of the network, the number of residual blocks was increased to 10. The new network showed a lower recognition result. Five of the seven classes were recognized with an accuracy of more than 90%, but the minimum accuracy of recognition has become 71%. Where were made the conclusions about the inexpediency of increasing the residual blocks and the need to use a complete set of data to increase the accuracy of the network.

To solve the problem of measuring the efficiency of electrically small portable and mobile antennas operating at HF and MF ranges, a calorimetric measurement method is considered. The method is based on the representation of the antenna as a physical system in which electromagnetic radiation is useful, and heat losses are detrimental. Measuring the heat loss of the antenna and its non-radiating equivalent allows you to estimate the efficiency. The description of the developed calorimetric installation for measuring the efficiency is given. Physical and technical features of its work are considered. For testing, a sample of a small-sized spiral antenna was selected, operating at a frequency of 1.9 MHz and matched with a 50 Ohm feedline with VSWR <; 1.1; the efficiency measurement was carried out, which showed the high efficiency of the antenna being measured.
