Modern moving objects like motor vehicle, train, ship, plane and others are equipped by large quantity of apparatus and electronic devices, that are exposed to influences of external electromagnetic fields and that are existed in environment. The powerful source of electromagnetic field near earth surface and inside moving objects are lightning strokes. Its field can induce sizeable interferences in lines, circuits, devices of control and driving.

The problem of breakdown effect, also called multiphactor, in on-board equipment of satellite communication systems is considered. This negative effect affects the reliability of onboard devices of high radiation power and hinders the development of radio-electronic equipment for space applications in general. The breakdown effect mechanism is carried out. We show the specifics of breakdown effect in strip and coaxial components of satellite electronic equipment and also discuss how to prevent a possible discharge in on-board equipment.

The results of its use were used to estimate the resolution times and effective memory for various types of amplitude-frequency responses of the channel presented in this paper. This paper describes a blind two real signals separation method. Blind separation implies that there is no information about the signals except for received samples. This eliminates the presence of a systematic error in determining the stirring matrix and the restoration of the original signals. As a criterion for the separation of signals in this paper, the cumulants of the second and third orders of the output signals were reduced to zero. To test the performance of the method, mixing and separation model was created, and the efficiency of the method was tested at various power levels of the intrinsic noise in the receiving channels.

In the modern world, image transmission, including transmission of television and video signals, is carried out using a preliminary and restorative correction according to the law, which was due to the use of imaging devices on cathode ray tubes. This law differs from the law of dependence of the visibility threshold of a visual stimulus on its magnitude, but continues to be used for compatibility reasons. Therefore, in the work, instead of linearizing the sensations of the quantization scale of a television signal, it is proposed to optimize the choice of code combinations for image transmission. This approach can be effective in television systems without compression of video information with losses, for example, for transmitting signals over short distances or in channels for transmitting signals of the image of Earth remote sensing systems

New properties of communication channel with intersymbol interference utilizing by APSK-N-signals are investigated. Based on estimates of the symbol error rate caused by intersymbol interference, the possibility of increasing the data transmission rate in the channel due to "transparency windows" is estimated. New properties have been identified that allow a significant increase in the efficiency of such communication channels.

Principles of design and structural-schematic schemes of direct digital synthesizers, based on the direct digital frequency and signal synthesis method are presented. The block diagrams of direct digital synthesizers based on digital code accumulators and with an M-shaped frequency variation law are given. DDS allow synthesizing signals with amplitude, frequency and phase modulation in the frequency range from 0.001 to 400 MHz.

The article presents a device for narrowband interference compensation on the basis of a bank of digital filters for broadband low-energy HF radio links. An analytical comparison is made of the effectiveness of signal reception algorithms in the presence of narrowband interference. The algorithm of optimal reception with the normalization of the power spectral density and the algorithm of reception with the rejection of the part of the spectrum affected by interference are compared. An algorithm and a device based on a bank of digital filters are proposed, ensuring the normalization of the power spectral density in accordance with the optimal reception algorithm. The results of the simulation and field experiment on the processing of wideband signals in the presence of interference with the help of the developed program module for the normalization of the spectral power density are presented.

The paper presents the methodological aspects of numerical method for capacity estimating for channels with memory caused by its frequency selectivity, when a multipositional phase shift keyed signal is used as a signal. The capacity estimations were made for such communication channels with the most common amplitude-frequency responses. The effects on capacity of such adverse factors as frequency detuning and measurement errors of the phase, as well as the effect of the squelch subsystem presented in the receiver, are estimated.
