Cloud computing is really a new computing mode. Load balancing of resources across virtual machines is the fundamental problem of Cloud computing. Effective job scheduling device must meet people 'requirements and increase the source usage, to be able to increase the entire efficiency of the cloud processing environment. In optimization issue, Genetic Algorithm and Ant Colony Optimization Algorithm have already been referred to as excellent option method. GA is created by adopting the organic progress process, while ACO is encouraged by the foraging behavior of ant species. This paper evaluated hybridization of ACO and GA adopt with multi-objective function to improve the global optimization solution.

In 2008, Lotfi Zadeh concluded that to make significant progress toward achievement of human level machine intelligence a paradigm shift is needed. In previous papers we introduced the computational information conservation theory (CICT) approach to get more effective and reliable cognitive, biophysical, and biomedical engineering simulation solutions. CICT new computational information conservation awareness can open the way for a paradigm shift to recover lost coherence information in system description and to develop even advanced quantum cognitive systems. To achieve this result, in present paper, we show the fundamental pre-spatial geometro-arithmetic scheme defining optimized numeric word generators and relations to minimize the traditional multiscale statistic modeling veil opacity and information entropy generation. It is the first, fundamental step to an effective progression from computing with numbers to computing with numeric words with precisation of their meaning. This paper is a relevant contribution towards an effective and convenient "Science 2.0" universal computational framework to achieve deeper cognitive intelligence at your fingertips and beyond.

Two traditional heuristic task scheduling algorithms (STFCMEF-MS algorithm and LTFCMEF-MS algorithm) are developed to solve a multi-task scheduling problem on multiple computers to reduce energy consumption and finish required tasks before a deadline. Two new green task scheduling algorithms (STFCMEF-SA algorithm and LTFCMEF-SA algorithm) are proposed to solve the same problem. Since the energy is directly proportional to the number of instructions for each computer at a particular speed, the energy slope (a newly defined technical term) is a constant. Simulation results indicate that STFCMEF-SA algorithm and LTFCMEF-SA algorithm are more effective than STFCMEF-MS algorithm and LTFCMEF-MS algorithm in lowering energy consumption. Future work includes more theoretical analysis and more novel algorithms. ©2010 ieee.

Online wallet has become an important method to manage Bitcoin. In a Bitcoin transaction, online wallet manages the private key automatically, and stores the encrypted private key in remote to ensure the accessibility of Bitcoin anywhere. In the traditional online wallet, the private key is stored centrally in a storage unit. However, if the storage unit is collapsed or hacked, users will suffer the risk of losing their *** by this, in this paper, we propose a new online wallet architecture: HA-eWallet. In HA-eWallet, the transaction of Bitcoin is signed by multiple private keys rather than one, and private keys are stored separately in different places. In addition,we introduce a second service unit to construct the Active-Active architecture to rotate the capability and workload. Besides, we adopt a disaster recovery strategy in our proposed architecture in case of any disaster. According to the running states of each service unit, HA-eWallet have three operation models, and can be switched smoothly. Theoretical analyses and experiments show that: HA-eWallet can achieve higher availability compared with the traditional online wallet architecture, and users will not suffer a loss as long as the number of lost private keys are less than50% of the users’ total number of private keys.

With the popularity of mobile smart devices, location-based services have been more widely used. Bichromatic Reverse k Nearest Neighbor(BRkNN) queries have become a hotspot in spatial-textual databases domain. In this paper, we extend the concept of traditional BRkNN method to process the object with multi-level tags in some specific scenes, and we propose a new type of query, called Maximized Bichromatic Reverse k Nearest Neighbor with Multi-Level Tags queries(MaxBRkNN-MLT), to find the optimal position of object with multi-level tags in the spatial-textual database. Unlike traditional methods, the number of the results of the MaxBRkNN-MLT query is maximized, which can cross the great divide between space and text. The query method proposed in this paper has a wide range of application scenes. For example, in the advertising industry, advertisers expect to find an optimal position, so that the ads with a given tag can attract the most users. Finally, experiments show that the MLT method has better query precision and execution efficiency than the baseline approach.

Personal Health Records（PHR） is patient-centric healthcare system, which allows patients to control who can get access to their health records and which section of the record can be accessed. Hot issues such as access control, patients control degree, and privacy protection, etc. are still the challenging concerns while designing a secure PHR *** this paper, we propose ds PPS, a secure integrated PHR framework（from health data collection to health data sharing）that meets patients’ full control of their PHR and sufficient privacy preservation. Specifically, ds PPS provides two schemes:Biometric-Based secure health data Collection（BBC） scheme and Attribute-Based health record Accessing（ABA） scheme. While BBC scheme enables patients to collect their scattered health data from multiple typical health systems securely and efficiently,the ABA scheme allows users（health systems） access to the PHR server with their sensitive attributes being protected. Comprehensive analysis is conducted to show the security of ds PPS against typical attacks. In addition, experiments in both smart phone and PC（Intel） platforms demonstrate that ds PPS produces reasonable performance in terms of storage, communication and computational overheads.

Since airlines usually keep their price strategies as commercial secrets and information is always asymmetric, it is difficult for ordinary customers to estimate future flight price changes. However, a reasonable prediction can help customers make decisions when to buy air tickets for a lower *** price prediction can be regarded as a typical time series prediction problem. There are usually two main methods to solve this problem. One is using classical time series prediction methods such as ARIMA, etc. Another is extracting certain features and using regression models. For the latter, sometimes the flight price is context-aware, making it difficult to get an optimized single regression model for the whole price series. Meanwhile, effective context features vary on different air routes and change with time, therefore it is difficult to model context *** this paper, we propose a context-aware ensemble regression model named ACER which combines different context-aware models and adjusts context features adaptively. Inspired by the idea of bagging and boosting, context features are randomly selected to cluster data efficiently and multiple regression models are trained for data with different contexts. In addition, the context feature list is dynamically adjusted by dropping some irrelevant features. In the experiment on the real data set, our model is compared with the baseline regression model, random forest and classical time series models. The results show that ACER performs much better than the other models.

Identifying human personality is one among the emerging research area. This paper addresses personality identification through introvert and extrovert classification using speech samples. A self-recorded datbase is considered. A novel method of feature extraction involves speech feature derived from Auditory Nerve (AN) Modelling of human ear in identifying human personality for the first time. The effect of the features proposed for the task are compared with Interspeech 2010 features. Bayes-Net Classifier is applied for classification. Furthermore, Voice Activity Detection (VAD) and dimensionality reduction using Attribute Selection technique are applied and the system performance is investigated. The best performance is obtained using VAD and Attribute Selection on the chosen combination of speech features with an accuracy of 88.3%.

Based on quotient space and granular computing theory, the image retrieval process is analyzed, and a multi-granular method based on quotient space is proposed for Thangka image retrieval. With the proposed method, an image is divided into different granularities based on hierarchical thinking, and different quotient spaces are constituted according to different behaviors under different granularities of the image. The synthetic features are obtained by composing the attribute functions at different granularity levels based on the theory of composing multi-granularity attribute functions in the quotient space. Finally, the images are retrieved by the synthetic method. The experiment showed that the synthetic method could be able to effectively retrieve Thangka images.

In reconfigurable computing, more tasks could be executed in parallel on the limited hardware resources by time multiplexing. Finding the available start time and appropriate placement position for arrival tasks is the key point of online reconfigurable scheduling. In this paper, we introduce an online scheduling algorithm with reconfigurable resource management. Vertex position tree-a new date structure, and fragmentation shape edges-a simple and intuitive evaluating function etc. are introduced in resource management. Meanwhile, priority greedy scheduling policy is used for online tasks. Under the premise of reducing the complexity of space and time, the algorithm utilizes hardware resources more efficiently, and has higher tasks accept ratio shown by the simulation results.
