The proposed 6-Hop P2P(6-Hop) is an improved overlay network topology thatintends toenhance the current P2 P that houses a file sharing and media broadcasting(FSMB) application. A P2 P system provides a serverless platform for the current FSMB application. It allows media files in each peer tobe located by other peers in the network using any word in the file name. The current FSMB application is a closed system where only registered peers can join the overlay network. However, the current broadcasting system has shown some aspects of inefficiency. Twoprinciple weaknesses identified are as follow:query messages flood the overlay network which taking up the bandwidth of the network;and, the search service is not reliable. When a new peer joins the P2P-based FSMB system, registered peers will randomly join clusters in the network. When a peer queries a specific or part of a file name, the current P2 P examine all the peers and all the files in each peer. This has resulted in low recall rate and heavy query messages in the overlay network. The proposed 6-Hop P2 P is an overlay network that adopts smallworld characteristics attempting toimprove the recall rate and toreduce the amount of query messages. The proposed P2 P is designed using the "similarity interest" value toreduce unnecessary routing and tocut down the number of hops required by the search. It alsorewires peers base on recall-rate learning algorithm toform clusters relying on the 'interest' bit value of QRP table. This paper presents the proposed 6-Hop model and the work-in-progress results with a short discussion on its prototype.

Resonant Recognition Method that uses discrete Fourier transform (DFT) and Electron-ion interaction potential amino acid scale (EIIP) is one of the techniques widely used for the analysis of protein sequences. However, DFT that generates complex output (imaginary and real frequency spectra) has shown to produce complementary information in other areas (e.g., ultrasound) were not taken into consideration. Therefore, for the first time, this study is concerned with the development of complex resonant recognition method (CRRM) for the analysis of groups of proteins using their sequence information. As a case study, the method developed is applied to extract characteristic frequency peaks of Influenza A subtypes Neuraminidase gene, for which Influenza A virus subtypes H1N1, H2N2, H3N2 and H5N1 proteins were extracted from Influenza Virus Resource database. The relationships of Influenza A subtypes that appear in CRRM real and imaginary spectra are found to be consistent to the biological link whereas this was not observed in the traditional RRM. H3N2 inherited NA gene from H2N2 and they are found to share the same characteristic frequency as seen in the real spectrum. In addition, H1N1 supplied the NA gene to H5N1 and they also have the same characteristic frequency in the imaginary spectrum. The results clearly show that imaginary part of the CRRM clearly identified similarities and differences between the influenza sub-types at the proteomic level where real part and absolute value of the DFT were incapable of doing so. The results obtained for this study therefore suggest that the CRRM cannot only produce additional biological information but also helps better distinguish biological differences between the families of the proteins. This is hence expected to help better understand mechanisms of the diseases and aid drug/vaccine development.

It is the capability of language understanding that distinguishes us from animals. And language is the fundamental tools of our thought. Now with the recent development in Artificial Intelligence, we are at the edge to enable machines with the capability to understand human language, which has many real applications and serves as the core component of smart robot brain. However, the current machines still have limited cognitive capability to understand data or text in the form of human language. The underlying reason is that we have no good knowledge bases to support language understanding. In general, the knowledge bases are supposed to have a high coverage over entities and concepts, have rich semantic information, have a high quality and a friendly structure, so that they are useful for machines to understand human language. Recently, more and more online knowledge bases（also known as knowledge graphs） are published. These knowledge graphs are the results of the efforts that extract knowledge from large scale corpora on Web, thus usually contain tens of billions of entities and concepts. These knowledge bases are usually stored as RDF data, which is friendly for machines to use. The heterogeneous knowledge sources cross validate the facts in the knowledge graph, ensuring the high quality of the knowledge graph. Knowledge graphs provide new opportunities to empower machines with the capability to understand natural language. In this speech, I will systematically review the recent progress in enabling machines with the cognitive ability to understand natural language and discuss some open problems. I will first introduce the preliminary concepts of knowledge graphs, with the comparison to traditional knowledge representations. Second, I will overview the the recent process about knowledge graph construction, in particular the automatic approaches for knowledge graph construction. In the present era, the diagnosis of diseases associated to neuropsychological like Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) by computational methods is gaining consideration rapidly. The precise discrimination of ADHD patients from healthy participants is still challenging for both neuroscience researcher and clinical diagnosis. Inadequate and noise data are the main causes of diminishing the performance of the prevalent methods of ADHD classification. In this paper, we conceded functional magnetic resonance imaging (FMRI) data with a classification approach to support the diagnose of ADHD and proposed a novel sparse network modelling. Based on strength and similarity guided sparse group representation capitalizes a couple of BOLD signal temporal correlation. Low-Order Functional Connectivity (LOFC) and High-Order Functional Connectivity (HOFC) are being used as two antecedents to lead the group sparse representation (GSR) based network and mutually 1 21 - norm regularized linear Support Vector Machine (SVM). Nested leave-one-site-out cross-validation framework is used, and attain a mean classification accuracy of 75%, which shows the effectiveness of our method. The classification results revealed that our proposed method is vigorous to data deviations. The combination of the sparse network with the strength and similarity guided system is robust to obtain the fMRI information. It differs ADHD over multi-site resting-state fMRI. We compared our method with other State of-the-art brain network approaches.

The forward kinematics(FK) problem for robotic manipulators has a mathematically analytical solution, while the inverse kinematics(IK) problem is computationally expensive,and the closed-form expression of the solution does not always exist. In recent years, many approaches have been proposed tosolve such a complicated IK problem, such as the traditional pseudoinverse based solution. However, there are many limitations when using the pseudo-inverse based solution. Therefore, how toeffectively avoid the Jacobian pseudo-inversion is very important and meaningful. Motivated by this, an important branch of dynamics methods, i.e., the gradient dynamics(GD) method, is thus applied todeveloping a novel inverse-free D1G1 solution at the joint-acceleration level for solving the IK problem of redundant robot manipulators. Furthermore, simulation results based on a three-link redundant robot manipulator substantiate the effectiveness and accuracy of the proposed inverse-free D1G1 solution.

It is extremely important to optimize the C2 structure to suit to the information warfare. However, there has been no study launched, via increasing information sharing and collaboration ability of the C2 structure, to improve the flexibility of it. In this paper we present a networked C2 structure model, which has more flexibility and a flat netlike form normally, based on the long chain from the industry and OODA model. Two classes of networked C2 structures, the 2-stage and the 5-stage, are studied and we propose three indicators to measure the characteristics. The first class is the 2-stage structure where the operational requirements and C2 process capacities are balanced. We utilize the concept of chaining to build the networked structure and simulate them where the values of both stages follow the normal distribution. The results show that the long chain and the 3-chain structure perform well. The second one is the 5-stage structure, namely OODAT. Four networked structures, where each of them is composed of the well-performed 2-stage structures, are builded and analyzed, and the simulation interprets that the sparse flexible structures based on the long chain have good characteristics. By the research we conclude that such structures can be used in the design of C2 organization and C2 system to satisfy more operational requirements with less cost.

Search engines usually return relevant sorted results based on the keywords. Because of the lack of considering the user's current search interest and intention, this kind of strategy may not meet users' personalized search *** order to retrieve results associated with the user's current search interest, existing researches integrate the user's interest information into the search process and ranking, so as to make the search results fit to the user's current search target more better. Different from the unified model of interest which most current related researches used, we propose a model of combing user's interests for the purpose of ranking in the light of different query types. This paper first classified queries into several types based on the current keywords and the sources of user's interests,such as short-term interest in user clicks, and long-term interest in user's search history, search logs of the search system *** based on the sources of interests, we established a model of combination of interests which based on the artificial neural network and was trained by related approaches and data *** on different query types, we combined these sources of user's interests that the most best reflecting the user's current search intention to enhance the user's search *** with the existing model of single interest, the results of the experiments show that our model can obtain better ranking on the results.

With ra pid development of internet, more and more consumers choose toshop from different channels, such as offline channel and online channel. Some consumers prefer shopping through offline channel because they want toexperience the products' quality in person, while other consumers would like toshop online because the y care more about the efficiency of shopping. There are several factors that can affect consumers' channel choice, such as channel factors, situational factors, consumers' own factors. This paper aims toanalyze consumers' channel choice for electronic products from consumers' own factors. We develop a structural equation model tostudy consumers' channel choice and investigate the relationships among the indexes via data from questionnaire s. We find that(i) both perceived time pressure and perceived channel convenience have positive effects on the attitude towards purchasing electronic products via the internet;(ii) the attitude towards purchasing electronic products via the internetis positively related tothe intention of online channel, and negatively related tothe intention of offline channel. However, price sensitivity and perceived risk have nosignificant causal relationships with attitude towards purchasing electronic products via the internet. Further, we divide the sample intotwosubgroups by gender, using the same method toconduct empirical research. We obtain some valuable resul ts and give some related policies. Then we alsodivide the sample intotwosubgroups by ca reer, and we get some useful conclusions.

The distributed test system is a complex control system which is based on computer technology, network communication technology and sensor technology. In the distributed test system, each testing device communicates with the data control center in a wired or wireless way, and realizing the unified control of the test equipment and the centralized processing of the collected data. Different from the independent test system, in the network distributed test system, each test device needs to communicate with the data control center to complete the corresponding test task. In the signal transmission, different transmission distances will cause the difference delay while the data control center has sent the homologous signal to different test devices. Furthermore, if the test devices in the system do not have a unified time base, the test data will not be able to reflect the true information in the reason of clock difference. Therefore, all the test devices in the network need to know the delay between themselves and the data control center in order to ensure the real-time information between each other. That is, all the devices in the test network need to keep clock synchronization. The authors presented a time delay measurement method which based on FPGA, in the view of the requirement of clock synchronization in distributed test system and the requirement of high precision delay measurement in transmission line of linear topology. The realization principle of delay measurement method from software and hardware is expounded in detail, and the function simulation and experiment verification are carried out. The experimental results show that this method is simple and practical, and it can realize the highprecision delay measurement of the transmission link. It is an effective delay measurement method in the distributed test system.

The medial axis(or a topological skeleton) is a thinner version of a geometric object. The medial axis was firstintroduced by Blum as a description of shape. Its classical definitions include grass-fire model and maximal disk model. The grass-fire model means that an object's boundary is taken as an initial fire front that propagates within the object's interior region. Points where the fire front folds or interacts with itself are retained as the skeleton *** maximal disk model means that the medial axis of a planar domain is the locus of the center of a maximal disc, which touches the boundary in at least twopoints. The medial axis has been used within various scientific and engineering areas,including geographical information systems, face recognition,path-finding, image processing, computer vision, collision detection mesh-generation, and machining applications, etc. Usually,because of the noise on the boundary contours of a shape, the traditional algorithms of constructing medial axis produce the redundant branches of medial axis. This paper analyses the reason for the redundant branches of medial axis using the circumcenter method based on constraint Delaunay triangulation, and then presents a new method toprune the redundant branches of the medial axis. Several experiments demonstrate that the proposed method can remove the redundant medial axis branches effectively and efficiently. Obviously this method is an optimization for the circumcenter method based on constraint Delaunay *** the one hand, it makes medial axis more accurate;on the other hand, it can eliminate the byproduct –medial axis branches.
