The production of m.cro grooves on extrem.ly hard workpieces like Arm.x 500 T, com.only used in m.litary sectors like arm.red protective vehicles, poses challenges in conventional m.chining processes. Accordingly, an innovative technique called CO2 laser turning process (LTP) assisted by N2 gas was used for m.nufacturing m.cro grooves on Arm.x 500 T to confront the restrictions of traditional m.chining processes. This study was concerned with investigating the im.act of various operating param.ters related to the therm.l grooving m.chining process such as: (i) laser power (P), (ii) gas pressure (GP), (iii) feed rate (F), and (iv) m.tor speed (S). These param.ters were exam.ned under various operating conditions like: (i) cutting depth (DC), (ii) upper width cut (UC), (iii) bottom.width cut (BC), (iv) roundness error (RE), and (v) m.tal rem.val rate (m.R). Thus, responsesurface-m.thodology (RSm. was used to exam.ne the experim.ntal results, enabling the m.them.tical m.deling of the results, and reducing the need for additional experim.nts. The findings revealed that the optim.l com.ination of condition settings for the CO2-LTP of Arm.x 500 T (assisted by N2 gas) included a CO2 laser power of 3000 Watts, N2 gas pressure of 17.2370 bar, a feed rate of 400 m./m.n, and a m.tor speed of 10 RPm. Furtherm.re, the optim.zed com.inations of therm.l m.chining conditions resulted in increasing m.R, DC, BC, UC, DC, and reducing RE, with values of 0.0163 m. m. 0.2333 m., 0.2511 m., 0.5241 m., and 19.403 m. m. respectively. Additionally, the correctness of the optim.zation procedure was dem.nstrated by the difference between the optim.l experim.ntal findings and the forecasted m.gnitudes for m.R, DC, BC, UC, and RE, which were up to 7.9 %, 6.71 %, 6.1 %, 3.6 %, and 2.98 %, respectively.

Over the years, several single -pill com.inations have been produced and utilized as an alternative option for treatm.nt of the signs and sym.tom. of Prim.ry dysm.norrhea. The presence of m.ltiple drugs together poses a challenge for analysts regarding analysis, m.king it a significant hurdle to overcom.. A com.ination of paracetam.l (PAR), caffeine (CAF), and pyrilam.ne m.leate (PYR) is com.only recom.ended as an over-the-counter triple-action treatm.nt to alleviate m.ld to m.derate prem.nstrual syndrom. sym.tom.. This study presented two liquid chrom.tographic m.thods that sim.ltaneously determ.ne PAR, CAF, and PYR in m.dol (R) Com.lete caplets along with three officially recognized im.urities, nam.ly, p-am.nophenol, theophylline, and p-anisaldehyde. The initial approach em.loyed high-perform.nce thin-layer chrom.tography alongside a densitom.tric scanning technique. The experim.ntal setup utilized silica gel HPTLC plates as the stationary phase, and ethyl acetate: aqueous am.onium.hydroxide (10.0:0.1, v/v) m.xture as the developing system. The densitom.tric scanning was conducted at a wavelength of 210.0 nm. The second approach, developing highperform.nce liquid chrom.tographic m.thod coupled with ultraviolet detection. Inertsil ODS-3 C18 colum. (250 x 4.6 m., 5 m. m. was used to separate the six com.ounds effectively. For the experim.ntal procedure, an isocratic elution m.thod was chosen with a m.bile phase consisting of a m.xture of 0.02 m.potassium.dihydrogen phosphate buffer acidified with o-phosphoric acid (pH 3.0), and m.thanol (80:20, v/v) at a flow rate of 1.0 m./ m.n. UV detection was carried out at a wavelength of 210.0 nm. The two proposed m.thods have been validated in accordance with ICH recom.endations. In addition, the suggested HPLC-UV technique was used to track the release profile of the cited drugs during the in -vitro study. New series of thiazolyl-pyrazoline derivatives (7a-7d, 10a-10d and 13a-13f) have been synthesised and assessed for their potential EGFR and VEGFR-2 inhibitory activities. Com.ounds 10b and 10d exerted potent and selective inhibitory activity towards the two receptor tyrosine kinases;EGFR (IC50 = 40.7 +/- 1.0 and 32.5 +/- 2.2 nm. respectively) and VEGFR-2 (IC50 = 78.4 +/- 1.5 and 43.0 +/- 2.4 nm. respectively). The best anti-proliferative activity for the exam.ned thiazolyl-pyrazolines was observed against the non-sm.ll lung cancer cells (NSCLC). Com.ounds 10b and 10d displayed pronounced efficacy against A549 (IC50 = 4.2 and 2.9 m. m. respectively) and H441 cell lines (IC50 = 4.8 and 3.8 m. m. respectively). m.reover, our results indicated that 10b and 10d were m.ch m.re effective towards EGFR-m.tated NSCLC cell lines (NCI-H1650 and NCI-H1975 cells) than gefitinib. Finally, com.ounds 10b and 10d induce G2/m.cell cycle arrest and apoptosis and inhibit m.gration in A549 cancerous cells.

Introduction: Syria has the largest num.er of internally displaced people (IDPs) globally with 6.7 m.llion forced from.their hom.s since the uprising erupted in 2011. m.st face m.ltiple intersecting vulnerabilities with adverse health im.acts. We explore the key health concerns am.ng IDPs, how the various health system. in Syria have responded to the dynam.c health needs of IDPs and what m.dalities have been used by hum.nitarian actors to address these needs. m.thods: We undertook a scoping review of academ.c and grey literature for available evidence regarding the health of IDPs in Syria. We then organised an online workshop in Novem.er 2021 with around 30 participants who represent local, regional, and international organisations and who have relevant expertise. The discussion focused on how the health system. in Syria's various territories have responded to the health needs of IDPs, what this m.ans to the structure and dynam.cs of these health system. and their intended outcom.s and responsiveness. Findings: These em.hasised the weak evidence base around IDP health in Syria, particularly in certain geographical areas. Workshop participants explored the applicability of the term.IDP in the Syrian context given the fragm.nted health system.and its im.act on IDPs, the im.ortance of considering codeterm.nants (beyond forced displacem.nt) on the health of IDPs and taking a transectoral, com.unity led approach to identify and respond to needs. Conclusion: This m.nuscript presents som. of the current issues with regards to IDP health in Syria, however, there rem.in num.rous unknowns, both for the health of IDP as well as non-IDP populations. We hope that it will be the foundation for further discussions on practical steps relating to research, analysis and interventions which can support health system.responses for IDPs in Syria.

Background: During the last decade, enorm.us research efforts have been directed at identifying potent m.cro-organism. as sustainable green cell factories for eco-friendly pigm.nts. Talarom.ces atroroseus has recently been shown to excrete large am.unts of azaphilone m.cotoxin-free red pigm.nt m.xture com.rising som. known coloring com.onents together with m.ny uncharacterized m.tabolites. In this study, a new Talarom.ces atroroseus isolate was identified via sequencing of the fragm.nt of the nuclear ribosom.l gene cluster containing internal transcribed spacers and 5.8S rRNA gene. The param.ters that affected the level of pigm.nt production were optim.zed in uncom.on static conditions of culture and genetic im.rovem.nt, via y-irradiation, to im.rove pigm.nt yield. m.reover, chem.cal characterization using LC/m. and skin safety test of the target pigm.nt m.xture were precisely conducted to m.xim.ze its benefits as a natural and safe red pigm.nt for wool fabrics. Results: m.lecular identification via the sequencing of the ITS of the rDNA encoding gene cluster revealed that the fungal isolate TRP-NRC was T. atroroseus TRP-NRC (deposited in GenBank under accession num.er m.282329). In the static conditions of culture, pigm.nt production was dram.tically enhanced to 27.36 g/L in an optim.m.yeast m.lt peptone m.dium.of 2% m.nnitol at pH 2-4.5 and 30 degrees C for 7 days of incubation. Under exposure to a 400-Gy y-radiation dose, pigm.nt yield was increased to a 3-fold level higher than that recorded for the wild type. Based on the inter-sim.le sequence repeats (ISSR), as a m.lecular m.rker tool, the wild-type T. atroroseus TRP-NRC strain and its m.tants were discrim.nated. The UHPLC/HRESI-m. analytical tool characterized 60 m.tabolites, including m.ny unknown m.lecules, at appropriate concentrations. Urothelial carcinom. is the m.st com.on urinary m.lignancy with a wide proportion of cancer m.rbidity and m.rtality. The aim.of the present study is to evaluate Ki-67 and p63 im.unoexpression and their correlation with grade and stage of bladder urothelial carcinom.. Fifty cases of bladder urothelial carcinom. were investigated and were subm.tted to im.unohistochem.cal staining for p63 and Ki-67, which were assessed qualitatively and quantitatively. A high percentage of p63 im.unoexpression showed a significant association with low-grade tum.rs (P < .05), while Ki-67 m.an percentage of expression was higher in high-grade tum.rs, advanced stage and m.ltiple tum.rs com.ared to low grade, early-stage and single tum.rs without statistical association. Furtherm.re, the m.an percentage of p63 was higher in urothelial carcinom. with squam.us differentiation com.ared to pure urothelial carcinom. with an absence of statistical significance. P63 could help in the identification of bladder tum.rs with squam.us differentiation since identifying these cases is im.ortant regarding prognostic and therapeutic aspects. Ki 67 seem. to be associated with features of bladder tum.r progression as m.ltiplicity, high grade and advanced stage. © 2020 Taylor & Francis.

Food safety is a priority for life;that is why pesticide levels are controlled worldwide. Chlorpyrifos (CPF) is one of the oldest and cheapest organophosphorus pesticides, which is now globally banned except for eleven crops. Specific onsite determ.nation of such toxic pesticide is a m.st to ensure food safety. m.lecular im.rinting polym.rization (m.P) is an exceptional technique to provide specificity. Recent advances in m.P technology have introduced the use of new m.nom.rs and m.nom.rs' com.inations for im.roved perform.nce. Here we report the first-tim. application for m.thyldopa (m.) and o-phenylenediam.ne (OPD) as copolym.rized m.nom.rs in the preparation of m.P-sensor through the electro-polym.rization m.thod. First, a com.utational sim.lation was used to test the binding affinities of CPF using num.rous m.nom.rs. The m.st stable com.lex, identified through the sim.lation, was form.d with both m. and OPD. Experim.ntal optim.zation of the ratio between CPF, m., and OPD led to a 1:1:2 ratio as optim.l for polym.r perform.nce that was further validated via UV-Visible spectrophotom.try. Poly-m.thyldopa-o-phenylenediam.ne (Pm./POPD) polym.r was prepared in the presence of CPF, where gold nanoparticles (Au-NPs) were then layered onto the polym.r generated on the pencil graphite surface (Au-NP@Pm.-POPD/PG). Characterization of the developed m.P electrochem.cal sensor was done using electron m.croscopy, photoelectron spectroscopy and other techniques. The prepared sensor was successfully exploited for CPF quantification using differential pulse voltam.etry, where it showed a linearity range (5.0 x 10-13 m.- 1.0 x 10-10 m. with a detection lim.t of 1.0 x 10-14 m. The fabricated sensor showed high selectivity and proved suitable for the determ.nation of CPF concentration in pesticide m.rket products and real water sam.les.

Background: The increasing prevalence of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) related adm.ssions poses a significant burden on the healthcare system. globally. However, data regarding the predictors of healthcare resource utilization in DKA is lim.ted and inconsistent. This study aim.d to identify key predictors of hospital length of stay (LOS), readm.ssion and recurrent DKA ***: We undertook a retrospective cross-sectional analysis of all DKA adm.ssions from.2015 to 2021 across four hospitals in Qatar. The prim.ry outcom.s were the length of stay (LOS), 90-day readm.ssion and 6-m.nth and 1-year DKA ***: We included 922 patients with a m.dian age of 35 years (25-45). 62% were m.les with type-1 diabetes-m.llitus (T1Dm. and type-2 Dm.(T2Dm., present in 52% and 48% of patients. The m.dian LOS was 2.6 days (IQR 1.1-4.8), and the m.dian DKA resolution tim. was 18 h (10.5- 29). m.le-gender, new-onset Dm. higher Charlson Com.rbidity Index (CCI), lower haem.globin, sodium.and potassium. higher urea, longer DKA duration and m.CU adm.ssion predicted a lon-ger LOS in a m.ltivariate regression analysis. None of the factors were significantly associated with 90-day readm.ssion. Patients with pre-existing T1Dm.were m.re likely to have a six-m.nth DKA recurrence than pre-existing T2Dm. Patients with a 6-m.nth DKA recurrence, fem.le gender and T1Dm.had higher odds of 12-m.nth recurrence, whereas a consult with a diabetes educator at the index adm.ssion was associated with decreased odds of ***/interpretation: This is the m.st extensive study from.the m.ddle-East region reporting on LOS, readm.ssions and the recurrence of DKA. Results from.this study with a diverse population m.y be valuable for physicians and healthcare system. to decrease the dia-betes-related healthcare burden in DKA patients.

A novel series of thiazolopyrim.dines and fused thiazolopyrim.dines was designed and synthesized as topoisom.rase II alpha inhibitors. All synthesized com.ounds were screened by the National Cancer Institute (NCI), Bethesda, USA for anticancer activity against 60 hum.n cancer cell lines representing the following cancer types: leukem.a, non-sm.ll cell lung, colon, CNS, m.lanom., ovarian, renal, prostate, and breast cancers. Com.ound 3a was found to be the m.st potent inhibitor on renal cell line (A-498) causing 83.03% inhibition (IC50 = 1.89 m. m.. DNA-flow cytom.tric analysis showed that com.ound 3a induce cell cycle arrest at G2/m.phase leading to cell proliferation inhibition and apoptosis. m.reover, fused thiazolopyrim.dines 3a showed potent topoisom.rase II inhibitory activity (IC50 = 3.19 m. m. when com.ared with reference com.ound doxorubicin (IC50 = 2.67 m. m.. Docking study of all the synthesized com.ounds showed that com.ound 3a interacts in a sim.lar pattern to etoposide and stabilizing the topoisom.rase cleavage com.lex (Top2-cc) that accounts for its high potency.

Biom.ss residues consist of sewage effluents and sludges, crop wastes, non-recyclable m.nicipal solid waste industrial and dom.stic greywater, and m.ch m.re. Recycling is regarded as one such significant disposal technique. Considering the intelligent classification and detection of solid waste as an essential factor in consum.tion and recycling, m.lti-object solid waste identification and classification m.thodology on the basis of transfer learning (TL) are presented. This study develops a m.dified Rat Swarm.Optim.zation with Deep Learning for Robust Recycling Object Detection and Classification (m.SODL-RODC) m.del. Prim.rily, fully convolutional network (FCN) is applied for the identification of waste objects. m.reover, m.SO with deep belief network (DBN) m.del is applied for object detection process. The design of the m.SO algorithm.for the DBN technique, showing the novelty of our work. The perform.nce validation of the m.SODL-RODC m.del can be executed with the help of the benchm.rk dataset from.Kaggle repository. The experim.ntal outcom.s dem.nstrated the better perform.nce of the m.SODL-RODC m.del over recent approaches with higher accuracy of 99.20%.
