This paper provides an online virtual 7home decoration system, which integrates web interaction technique into virtual home decoration. The main functions of this system include house design, house decoration, and data management. For the house design, an automatic joint method of the walls is proposed, in order to design various house. For the house decoration, we introduce the wall decoration principle corresponding to the algorithm of discretization on the walls, which contains doors or windows, and triangularization on the irregular floors. To variety of different textures and collage regulations, we provide a new texture collage mapping method. Technology of rendering to texture is used to generate a small geometry texture, which will be mapped into a large target object on the basis of the texture's structural properties. As a result, the whole texture continuity is also maintained. In data management aspect, we embed a browser into this system so that users can conveniently obtain decoration models on the basis of web interaction. After these models have been downloaded, they can be shown in virtual scene according to guide information. In addition, some quotation lists can be generated automatically. Experimental results show that an authentic house can be easily presented in our system. Copyright (c) 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.

In this paper, the notion of weakly Ky Fan's points of set-valued mappings is established, and we prove some existence theorems of weakly Ky Fan's points for functions with no continuity or space with no compactness. Then, from the viewpoint of the essential stability, we prove that most of problems in weakly Ky Fan's points (in the sense of Baire category) are essential.

A theorem proved by Fort in 1951 states that an upper semi-continuous mapping from a Baire space X into non-empty compact subsets of a metric space is both lower and upper semi-continuous at the points of a dense residual set of X. In this paper, we present several results concerning the generic continuity of set-valued mappings. First we demonstrate that generic continuity, in the sense of Baire category, cannot be extended to almost everywhere continuity (with respect to some measure). Then we show that Baireness of the domain space is a necessary condition for Fort's theorem to hold. Finally, we show that Fort's theorem holds without any compactness assumption on the images of the set-valued mapping. (C) 2012 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Excision rate was fitted and predicted via building on cutting parameters affecting cutting machining process with Optimization-Making RBF (OMRBF) Neural Network. Radial basis function was made to select the best optimized distribution density in order to advance the fitting and forecasting capability of RBF. To find novel compounds against H5N1, three series of known or novel small molecular polyphenols were synthesized and tested in vitro for anti-H5N1 activity. In addition, the preliminary structure-antiviral activity relationships were elaborated. The results showed that some small molecular polyphenols had better anti-H5N1 activity, and could serve as novel virus entry inhibitors against H5N1, likely targeting to HA2 protein. Noticeably, compound 4a showed the strongest activity against H5N1 among these compounds, and the molecular modeling analysis also suggested that this compound might target to HA2 protein. Therefore, compound 4a is well qualified to serve as a lead compound or scaffold for the further development of H5N1 entry inhibitor. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
