In this study, ramulus mori polysaccharide (RMP) was encapsulated into Poly (lactic-co-glycolicacid) (PLGA) to form PLGA-RMP (PR). The aim of study is to investigate anti-inflammatory effects of PR. The particle size of PR nanoparticles was approximately 205.6 +/- 1.86 nm. PR nanoparticles showed significant therapeutic effects on colitis mice model, evidenced by attenuation of the loss of body weight, reduction of the DAI score, and restoration of the colon length. From the histopathological analysis, alleviation of the histopathological damage, less production of IFN-gamma and IL-6, and improvement of IL-10 were observed with the treatment of PR. Meanwhile, the treatment of PR not only promoted the expression of ZO-1 and occludin, but also improved the contents of acetate, propionate, and butyrate in the colitis colon. Furthermore, PR extenuated the reduction of the diversity and richness of gut microbiota induced by DSS, and decreased the ratio of Firmicutes to Bacteroidetes while increasing the proportion of Clostridium XIVa, Mucispirillum, and Paraprevotella in the gut microbiota. What's more, PR nanoparticles attenuated the metabolic disorders in the colitis colon induced by DSS. These results indicated that PR nanoparticles could serve as a potent nanomedicine to treat IBD and be used as potential prebiotics.

This paper presents an adaptive detector based on maximum a posteriori (MAP) Rao test specially for the sub-Gaussian symmetric alpha-stable (SGSαS) sea clutter background. Since SGSαS distribution does not have a closed-form probability density function (PDF) expression, there are few researches on the problem of target detection in SGSαS clutter background. In this paper, firstly the closed-form PDF expression of the SGSαS distribution is given in terms of the Fox's H-function. Then the MAP Rao-SGSαS detector in alpha-stable clutter is designed based on two-step MAP Rao test. Experimental results based on the simulated data verify the effectiveness of the proposed detector.

For marine radar, since sea clutter is complex and dynamic, and small targets are difficult to model, the detection of floating small targets in sea clutter is always the focus and difficulty of radar target detection. The radar cross section of the floating small targets is small and the velocity is slow, so traditional detection methods have some bottlenecks, which belong to the problem of "over-clutter detection". The multi-feature-based detection method is an effective way to solve the detection of small targets on the sea surface, but traditional feature-based detection generally requires long accumulated time. Traditional scanning radar needs to take into account the surveillance space, which makes the number of accumulated pulses at each beam position restricted. It limits the application of feature detection methods to scanning radars. In this paper, aiming at the problem that the radar cannot stare at an angle for a long time in scanning mode, three features of relative average amplitude, relative Doppler peak height, and relative Doppler vector entropy are firstly extract. After that, the idea of multi-feature iteration between frames is used to update the feature values in the feature space, and then the fast convex hull algorithm is used to construct the decision region for detection. The measured data verifies that the proposed method can be well applied to scanning radar and obtains better detection performance than original methods.

In this paper, an approach for radar clutter, especially sea and land clutter classification, is considered under the following conditions: the average amplitude levels of the clutter are close to each other, and the distributions of the clutter are unknown. The proposed approach divides the dataset into two parts. The first data sequence from sea and land is used to train the model to compute the parameters of the classifier, and the second data sequence from sea and land under the same conditions is used to test the performance of the algorithm. In order to find the essential structure of the data, a new data representation method based on the graph spectrum is utilized. The method reveals the nondominant correlation implied in the data, and it is quite different from the traditional method. Furthermore, this representation is combined with the support vector machine (SVM) artificial intelligence algorithm to solve the problem of sea and land clutter classification. We compare the proposed graph feature set with nine exciting valid features that have been used to classify sea clutter from the radar in other works, especially when the average amplitude levels of the two types of clutter are very close. The experimental results prove that the proposed extraction can represent the characteristics of the raw data efficiently in this application.

The problem of target detection in impulsive non-Gaussian sea clutter has attracted a lot of attention in recent years. The positive alpha-stable (P alpha S) distribution has been validated as a suitable model for the impulsive non-Gaussian sea clutter. Since the probability density function (PDF) of the P alpha S variable cannot be expressed as a closed-form expression, the research into constant false alarm rate (CFAR) detectors in P alpha S distributed sea clutter is limited. This paper formulates and evaluates some CFAR detectors, such as Greatest Of-CFAR (GO-CFAR), Smallest Of-CFAR (SO-CFAR), Order Statistic-CFAR (OS-CFAR) and censored mean level (CML) detectors, in P alpha S distributed sea clutter. Firstly, the Fox's H-function is adopted to express the PDF of the P alpha S variable, and the cumulative density function based on Fox's H-function is derived in this paper. Then, by use of the properties of the H-function and P alpha S distribution, exact expressions of the probabilities of false alarm and detection for CFAR detectors in the P alpha S background are derived. Some CFAR properties of these detectors in the P alpha S background are also explored. Numerical results based on derived expressions are given and verified by Monte Carlo simulation. Some analyses of detection performance from a practical perspective are also given.
