The androgen receptor is a ligand-dependent transcriptional factor and an essential therapeutic target for prostate cancer. Competitive binding of antagonists to the androgen receptor can alleviate aberrant activation of the androgen receptor in prostate cancer. In recent years, computer-aided drug design has played an essential part in the discovery of novel androgen receptor antagonists. This review summarizes the recent advances in the discovery of novel androgen receptor antagonists through computer-aided drug design approaches;and discusses the applications of molecular modeling techniques to understand the resistance mechanisms of androgen receptor antagonists at the molecular level.

Global warming is limiting availability of water resources in arid and semi-arid regions,and so understanding water use efficiency(WUE)is increasingly important for agricultural production in those *** China is the largest cotton producing area,the problem of balancing WUE and efficient cotton production is a major *** this study,we used a natural population of 517 Upland cotton accessions to conduct a water-controlled trial in south and north of Xinjiang over two years.A total of 18 traits including agronomic traits,fiber yield indices and fiber quality indices,were investigated for broad-sense heritability and coefficient of *** water limitation was found to promote the establishment of favorable agronomic traits in cotton,associated with an increased cotton yield of 8.46%in Xinjiang,at the expense of a certain degree of fiber quality,such as decreased fiber length and an over-higher micronaire *** detected 33 QTL related to response to water limitation using a drought resistance coefficient(DRC),and 6 QTL were found using a comprehensive indicator of CIDT(comprehensive index of drought tolerance)at the genetic level by integrating resequencing *** novel QTL-hotspots including six differentially expressed genes(DEGs)were further identified related to the drought response of *** findings not only suggested a new approach to irrigation of cotton fields in Xinjiang,but also provided abundant genetic evidence for genetic breeders to study drought improvement of crops.

Single-shot fringe projection profilometry (FPP) is widely used in the field of dynamic optical 3D reconstruction because of its high accuracy and efficiency. However, the traditional single-shot FPP methods are not satisfactory in reconstructing complex scenes with noise and discontinuous objects. Therefore, this paper proposes a Deformable Convolution-Based HINet with Attention Connection (DCAHINet), which is a dual-stage hybrid network with a deformation extraction stage and depth mapping stage. Specifically, the deformable convolution module and attention gate are introduced into DCAHINet respectively to enhance the ability of feature extraction and fusion. In addition, to solve the long-standing problem of the insufficient generalization ability of deep learning-based single-shot FPP methods on different hardware devices, DCAHINet outputs phase difference, which can be converted into 3D shapes by simple multiplication operations, rather than directly outputting 3D shapes. To the best of the author's knowledge, DCAHINet is the first network that can be applied to different hardware devices. Experiments on virtual and real datasets show that the proposed method is superior to other deep learning or traditional methods and can be used in practical application scenarios.

3D reconstruction plays a pivotal role in intelligent manufacturing, industrial inspection, and other fields. Fringe projection profilometry is a widely used 3D reconstruction method due to its high accuracy and noncontact nature. However, when fringe projection profilometry (FPP) is applied to reconstruct highly reflective surfaces, there are not only diffuse reflections, but also undesired specular reflections. Intense specular reflection destroys the sinusoidal characteristics of the fringe pattern, leading to a decrease in 3D reconstruction accuracy. Traditional methods, such as Multiple exposures method, require multiple redundant shots to obtain high-quality fringe patterns, which makes efficiency difficult to meet industrial measurement requirements. Inspired by the application of deep learning in 3D vision, this article proposes a Y-shaped fast Fourier convolutional network (Y-FFC) for high reflection removal to provide high-quality fringe patterns. The cosine characteristics of the grayscale gradient of the sinusoidal fringe pattern make the detection of nonsinusoidal regions more accurate in the gradient domain. In addition, the undesired specular reflection component is easier to distinguish and filter out in the frequency domain. Therefore, the design of Y-FFC fully considers the gradient and frequency information. Experimental results show that the introduction of gradient and frequency information is beneficial for high reflection removal, enabling the reconstruction of industrial workpieces with highly reflective surfaces without the need for additional shots. The mean absolute error for depth measurements of an aircraft blade with a depth of 30 mm was reduced from 0.1332 to 0.0041 mm.

BackgroundThe increasing global cancer incidence corresponds to serious health impact in countries worldwide. Knowledge-powered health system in different languages would enhance clinicians' healthcare practice, patients' health management and public health literacy. High-quality corpus containing cancer information is the necessary foundation of cancer education. Massive non-structural information resources exist in clinical narratives, electronic health records (EHR) etc. They can only be used for training AI models after being transformed into structured corpus. However, the scarcity of multilingual cancer corpus limits the intelligent processing, such as machine translation in medical scenarios. Thus, we created the cancer specific cross-lingual corpus and open it to the public for academic *** to build an English-Chinese cancer parallel corpus, we developed a workflow of seven steps including data retrieval, data parsing, data processing, corpus implementation, assessment verification, corpus release, and application. We applied the workflow to a cross-lingual, comprehensive and authoritative cancer information resource, PDQ (Physician Data Query). We constructed, validated and released the parallel corpus named as ECCParaCorp, made it openly accessible *** proposed English-Chinese Cancer Parallel Corpus (ECCParaCorp) consists of 6685 aligned text pairs in Xml, Excel, Csv format, containing 5190 sentence pairs, 1083 phrase pairs and 412 word pairs, which involved information of 6 cancers including breast cancer, liver cancer, lung cancer, esophageal cancer, colorectal cancer, and stomach cancer, and 3 cancer themes containing cancer prevention, screening, and treatment.
