In recent years, considerable attention has been paid in time-frequency analysis (TFA) methods, which is an effective technology in processing the vibration signal of rotating machinery. However, TFA techniques are not sufficient to handle signals having a strong non-stationary characteristic. To overcome this drawback, taking short-time Fourier transform as a link, a TFA methods that using the generalized Warblet transform (GWT) in combination with the second order synchroextracting transform (SSET) is proposed in this study. Firstly, based on the GWT and SSET theories, this paper proposes a method combining the two TFA methods to improve the TFA concentration, named GWT-SSET. Secondly, the method is verified numerically with single-component and multi-component signals, respectively. Quantized indicators, Renyi entropy and mean relative error (MRE) are used to analyze the concentration of TFA and accuracy of instantly frequency (IF) estimation, respectively. Finally, the proposed method is applied to analyze nonstationary signals in variable speed. The numerical and experimental results illustrate the effectiveness of the GWT-SSET method.

The compact extracellular matrix (ECM) of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is the major physical barrier that hinders the delivery of anti-tumor drugs, leading to strong inherent chemotherapy resistance as well as establishing an immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME). However, forcibly destroying the stroma barrier would break the balance of delicate signal transduction and dependence between tumor cells and matrix components. Uncontrollable growth and metastasis would occur, making PDAC more difficult to control. Hence, we design and construct an aptamer-decorated hypoxia-responsive nanoparticle s(DGL)(n)@Apt co-loading gemcitabine monophosphate and STAT3 inhibitor HJC0152. This nanoparticle can reverse its surficial charge in the TME, and reduce the size triggered by hypoxia. The released ultra-small DGL particles loading gemcitabine monophosphate exhibit excellent deep-tumor penetration, chemotherapy drugs endocytosis promotion, and autophagy induction ability. Meanwhile, HJC0152 inhibits overactivated STAT3 in both tumor cells and tumor stroma, softens the stroma barrier, and reeducates the TME into an immune-activated state. This smart code -livery strategy provides an inspiring opportunity in PDAC treatment.

We performed 16S rDNA sequencing of tilapia fecal samples to analyze changes in tilapia gut contents after cultivation of the fish in the presence of sandwich-like floating beds of Chinese medicinal herbs (5 and 10% planting-areas;5% Polygonum cuspidatum). The interactive effects between water quality and blood and hepatic pro- and anti-inflammatory concentrations were also assessed. Our results showed that the water quality (i.e., NO3--N, NO2--N, TP removal rates) improved, and the abundance of Chloroflexi and Cyanobacteria increased. The abundance of Bacteroidetes, Verrucomicrobia, Saccharibacteria, and Actinobacteria showed both significant seasonal decreases and increases in the presence of P. cuspidatum (increases in August and decreases in July). Fish blood and hepatic IL-10 and IFN-gamma levels (together with fish sampled in September) significantly increased in the P. cuspidatum group sampled in August, while those of TNF-alpha (10% sandwich-like, P. cuspidatum), IL-1 beta (P. cuspidatum), IL-8 (5% sandwich-like in September, S905S) significantly decreased. Heat shock proteins 60 and 70 levels significantly increased in the P. cuspidatum group, and complement C3 and C4 concentrations significantly increased in S905S. This study demonstrated that enhanced immunity through the regulation of pro- and anti-inflammatory proteins was sustained throughout development until harvest, particularly in fish grown with P. cuspidation.

To enhance the understanding of the physics of energetic ions in fusion plasma, a high-temporal resolution neutron flux measurement (HTRNFM) system, which is equipped with a fast-neutron scintillation detector embedded with ZnS:Ag phosphor, has been developed for the HL-2M tokamak. It has a temporal resolution of 10 mu s during conventional operations. Its dynamic range is sufficiently wide for neutron flux measurements by adopting the combination use of the scalar mode and the Campbell mode. Based on the Monte Carlo calculations, the applicable count rate ranges of both the scalar mode and the Campbell mode are respectively 0.1-10 Mcps and 10-200 Mcps. The performance validation of the HTRNFM system has been performed by neutron flux measurements in magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) quiet plasmas in the HL-2A tokamak. In another plasma with abundant MHD instabilities, both the continuous neutron flux decreases and the rapid neutron flux decreases caused by different MHD instabilities are observed in a more detailed manner for the first time with the HTRNFM system than with other neutron flux measurement (NFM) systems that have a lower temporal resolution of 1 ms. The HTRNFM system will serve as a powerful diagnostic tool for research on energetic ion confinement quality in the HL-2M tokamak.
