In this paper, exact solutions of the generalized Boussinesq-like B(m, n) equation with nonlinear dispersion u(tt) + a(u(n))(xx) + b(u(m))(xxxx) = 0, m, n E R are investigated. As a result, under different parameter conditions, abundant compactons, peakons and solitary solutions, which include not only some known results but also some new ones, are obtained. In this paper, we employ the bifurcation theory of planar dynamical systems to study the smooth and nonsmooth traveling wave solutions of the generalized Degasperis-Procesi equation ut - u(xxt) + 4u(m)u(x) = 3u(x)u(xx) + uu(xxx). The parameter condition under which peakons, compactons and periodic cusp wave solutions exist is given. The rational polynomial camera (RPC) model is a generalized sensor model that is capable of achieving high approximation accuracy. Unfortunately, in almost all previous literature, the estimator of the parameters of the RPC model is biased, and the RPC model is not for SAR Imagery. In this paper, an unbiased RPC estimator is presented. Based on numerous tests, the following conclusion can be drawn. The RPC model is suited not only for push-broom imagery but also for SAR imagery.

The effect of IF (intermediate frequency) analog AGC on QPSK/OQPSK signal detection is evaluated for LEO satellite system where Doppler drift, large dynamic range of signal power and low Eb/No condition are difficult to deal with. The way of setting reference value of logarithmic power based AGC is discussed. Coherent accumulation and non-coherent accumulation are used for detecting, while signal's PDF and performance vs. accumulation times are derived mathematically. Experiment shows that with 60 KHz Doppler offset, Eb/No=0dB under QPSK/OQPSK, only 16 bits was consumed to detect the signal with 99.9% detection probability and 0.1% false alarm probability.
