Electrochemical oxidation, as one of the environmental-friendly technologies in wastewater treatment processes, has high efficiency in organic pollutants degradation and ammonia and nitrate removal. Wenyu River(a river crossing Beijing city of China) water contains high concentration of ammonia and total nitrogen(TN) with low biodegradability and low ratio of BOD5 to TN, the conventional activated sludge and biofilm processes were difficulty to treat this kind of wastewater. For above reasons, the coupling system of electrochemical oxidation and constructed wetland was developed for removal of organic pollutants and nitrogen compounds. In this paper, the operating parameters and the energy consumption of Ti/RuO2-TiO2-IrO2 anode cell were analyzed. Furthermore, the pollutants removal efficiency in coupling system was observed and the results revealed that excellent effluent quality can be obtained and it can meet the requirement of Grade III of Surface Water Quality Standard and TN emission of 15mg/L.

The lignite in China is distributed mainly in the eastern areas of Inner Mongolia and in the northeast provinces. The characteristics of China's lignite are closely related to its coal-forming age. This paper researched on the simulated flotation wastewater treatment technology. Experiments were performed by the operating manner of Anaerobic-BAC. Compared with natural photo degradation, the treatment effect of Anaerobic-BAC was obvious. The experimental results show that the biodegradability was greatly improved, the B/C could be increased from 0.09~0.19 to 0.17~0.37. Under this experimental condition, the optimum operation parameters of BAC process were determined as: the activated carbon-water ratio 2:1, air-water ratio 3:1, HRT 4h. After processing, the concentration of COD was lower than 100 mg/L, and the removal efficiency was higher than 70%.
