High pressure ratio, radial-inflow turbines typically experience supersonic expansion in the nozzle section. Accurate estimation of the flow conditions and velocity triangle at the nozzle outlet is of critical importance in correctly predicting the overall turbine performance. The meanline modeling of such a nozzle requires special attention, due to the significantly altered flow field downstream of the throat. In this study, the flow field of a supersonic expansion nozzle is investigated, using a three-dimensional (3D) computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation calibrated with test data. Three different CFD configurations are explored: the nozzle alone, the nozzle plus rotor coupled with a mixing plane, and the nozzle plus rotor coupled with the nonlinear harmonic (NLH) method. These configurations are compared to each other to gauge the effect of the rotor and stator interaction and the potential for error in establishing the velocity triangles. The exit vane angle, number of vanes, and expansion ratio across the nozzle are systematically varied to provide the data as the base for nozzle modeling. Finally, a meanline method is proposed to calculate the pressure loss and flow deviation at the nozzle outlet and is compared with CFD results.

A static adsorption experiment of copper ion was performed with D851 ion exchange resin to determine some optimum treatment parameters. The results of the experiment showed that the enthalpy value of the reaction was positive and the optimum reaction time was 60min, while the optimum pH value and reaction temperature were 5.5 and 35 degrees C, respectively. The adsorption equilibrium density of 0.1g ion exchange resin was between 75 and 100mg/L. With the condition of the hydraulic retention time of 60min, wastewater containing 10mg/L Cu(II) (pH approximate to 5.5) was treated by a dynamic ion exchange column, and the treatment effluent can meet the primary standard of the National Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard (GB8978-1996). Meanwhile a desorption experiment with ion exchange resin was carried out, which determined that the optimum volume fraction of hydrochloric acid solution was 4% in the desorption solution. The figures of the scanning electron microscope showed that the resin saturated with Cu(II) could be regenerated well under the effect of hydrochloric acid solution, which was consistent with the experimental results.

Classify the sports events by the maximal oxygen uptake (MaxO(2)) and the maximal muscular voluntary contraction (MVC). Collect the radial pulse wave of different sports events and discuss the pulse waveform and characteristic parameters. Radial pulse waveform on 304 subjects was collected, by using PowerLab and its bundled software LabChart 7, developed by ADInstrument. Normalize each radial pulse waveform and let the waveform cycle and amplitude distribute in the range of 0.100. Analyze the relative time of the maximum point Tm, the abscissa X and ordinate Y of dicrotic notch, the pulse waveform area K and the pulse wave age index SDPTG. The pulse waveform changing trend of MVC (<50%) group and MVC (>50%) group are different while the sports have the same MaxO(2). And the pulse waveform changing trend of MaxO(2) (<40%) group, MaxO(2) (40%-70%) group and MaxO(2) (>70%) group are as well as different while the sports have the same MVC.
